- Sun N' Fun in an annual fly-in event that has grown into the second largest event of its kind in the world and is Florida’s largest annual convention. Last year Micah and Mike barely missed the event, but not time! Micah and Ivette fly into the 2019 Sun N Fun fly in. The VFR arrival procedure was planned, but the weather had other plans.

Thanks for watching! 3JMs fuel system got out of calibration and we were taking off lean and that’s what caused the overheating. It’s finally fixed and she’ll be ready to make more videos soon!
Thanks for posting. Glad you’re back! Did you make a move from Page to Punta Gorda? Gonna try to fly down this fall. We’re planning on heading to Oshkosh this year and to Sun n Fun next year. Missed Sun n Fun this year. Having work done on our Comanche.

David Sumner Thanks for following along with us! Had a lot going on, including the hangar move! Our Fort Myers hangar was a sublease... and it ran out, we are PGD tenants now, but we’ve been on the FMY hangar list for 3 years and they think we might get one by the end of the year. PGD has been awesome, but it’s a drive for us... which makes flights and videos harder. Let us know when you come in town! Ivette and I will be headed to Oshkosh this year as well!!
This year will be the first time I'll be heading to Sun & Fun, so this was a great video to show me what to expect. I'm a new pilot (last October) so I certainly won't be flying. Nice video!
Have you been having engine temperature issues for a while? I don't remember it coming up in any of your other videos.
Jordan weird right? Over the past couple months they would get a little warm, but the last few flight prior to this one they got warm fast. So I took it in, got it “fixed”... this was the first flight after that, and now it’s with Cirrus and they diagnosed a fuel flow issue. I’m getting a couple other things fixed now too... my autopilot has been out for like 6 months, it will be nice to get that back

Thanks! Life is normalizing and the plane is trying to behave. We have Oshkosh tickets!!! It’s a long flight, so as long as the plane doesn’t catch on fire, a video will be made!!

It was great huh!? And 3JM has been at a Cirrus center for 3 weeks... somehow my fuel flows are way down for reasons we can’t come up with... so I was essentially blasting out lean and cooking the cylinders. They readjusted the fuel system and it looks like we are back in business soon!
