Who dafuq down voted this? Amazing tutorial , was able to put the entire USA Sega CD collection , only one game hasn't loaded everything working perfect so far.

Thanks for the info. Even though this needs to be updated a bit. However, the only problem with the games I have is that I do not know how to get passed the "No RAM Found" sections when booting the games up.
This is definitely a more detailed and overall way better video good work ps: could you do ps1 games and Saturn if they have a Saturn core thanks
I will be doing PS1 yup. There is a Saturn core but it does not work correctly unfortunately.

What if the Sega CD game I'm trying to play is an ISO file?
It may work if you can create a cue file for it. But it is not guaranteed.
What do you do if almost all of your Sega CD games are iso's?

I haven't played any of these games long enough to test it out sorry. They shouldn't crash though.
Has anybody had any luck getting Die Hard arcade for Sega Saturn or mame on the SNES classic?
Saturn games will not run. 3D arcade games will not run either.
Is this still the easiest way? All I've done is get the Genesis Plus GX core installed, added two games as CHDs, edited their command line to segacd, and dropped the BIOS files in a folder on my USB under libretro that had two files that said to put BIOS there. (I gave them the right names too). Is this good enough for adding the BIOS or do I need to do the installer step still?
Found it. The "U" in your BIOS filename was lowercase in your BIOS video. Needs to be capitalized. All good now

ty. I wanted to play Dark Wizard and Vay again but on pc it felt so bland. With all the games I've put on my SNES classic my older brother damn near confiscated it from me. Id go to his house for dinner and id find it there already hooked up to his tv. "I take it im going to have to buy you one for your birthday now?" "You kidding, Im taking this one. Its got my save data on it!" lol
Yeah using a controller really adds to the experience in my opinion.
I ran into an issue with Shining Force CD. It prompts me to initialize the backup ram but doesnt give me the option to go to that control menu like "Snatchers" does

So you don’t need a playlist like with multi disk ps1 games ?
You can do the playlist method like PS1, I did it and it works perfectly on Genesis Plus GX
I cannot for the life of me get any Sega CD games to play. I followed your instructions to a T for both single disc and multi disc games. I followed the bios tutorial and installed all my bios, I named them properly, I made sure Pico went with Pico and Genesis X Whatever went with Genesis X Whatever. Everything seems good, but when I click the game it simply shows the retro arch loading screen with sprite console on it and then goes right back to my games menu. Any idea of what might be happening? Your tutorials are wonderful and have worked flawlessly every time before. I must be doing something wrong here or missing some key component.

@Paul Tincher I figured it how before u got to me. My folder template had a extra folder in if somehow. I just re downloaded and it worked fine. I'm having issues with converting the turbo grafx 16 cd roms fo chd now. It worked with sega cd not with this turbo cd 16
just wondering if you know if I can Chang the location where hakchi stores the games as Iam running out of space on my HDD and don’t want to loose all the hard work of putting them in there folders and art work thanks :)

oh sorry on my pc for some reason it is storing them in a old hakchi games folder (old hakchi is gone but this folder) in documents :S not sure how I messed that one up lol thanks for the reply keep up the excellent work

That is normal yes. The newest version of hakchi grabs the bins automatically.

I had this when I downloaded the EU version, so I downloaded the US version from cdromance and got the bin and cue file.
@@mikesimcock6496 I just use CHD now, though I stopped using the Snes Classic by now (not sure if its supported there).
When I download the chdman I only get the combine bin and cue file but not the chdman so how do I get the chdman?
