Anyone else think Tsonga should just hit a single-hander all the time?! 😅
His single brights as he usually hits by double handed.
8:26 proves that he can hit one-handers just as well.
Yeah bc his backhand is not near as good as the rest of his strokes
Yes it's better for his game I dont know why he wasnt encouraged to develop it as a junior it's better for his overall game. he could have developed a better one handed backhand and be like Sampras and win Wimbledon
ATP Marketing Department doing a great job. Newsflash: Professional Tennis Players Are Well-Coordinated. Most of these shots with the exception of Tsonga's, are just little dinks and bunts without the full extension, so not really that impressive. It's a well known fact that one handers have a bit more reach for balls further away from the body.
Are we sure that Tsonga and Monfils usually Play a two-handed backhand? 😂😂
Tsonga's hybrid backhand is the future.
Judging by his success compared to people with dedicated one-handers and two-handers I don't think so.
@@thegreatseprano9918 What ? He had a spectacular career for a professional tennis player
Yup Tsonga won this category.
Compilation of the best shots of Monfils and Tsonga.
French Players Are Specialist Of This
Tsonga: *MY TIME HAS COME*
4:27 - That was a long ass sprint. Amazing!
Am I the only one who wishes Tsonga would play one-handed backhand all the time?
Me too, that backhand is LIT 🔥
It wouldn't work. You can't change an entire technique when you already are a pro.
One thing is hitting winners and another is rallying. If he does it now, he would slice the ball all the time.
@@masters.1000 Maybe not on a professional level, but he would still have a better backhand than most people I would say.
Jaziri needs to be in this way more. Dude has hit so many amazing single handed backhands, though people wouldn't know because his early rounds won't get that much notice.
2:38 too bad Tsonga can’t hit a 1 handed high five 🖐🤣
Now we need one handers doing two-handed backhands.
8:38 well...
Someone hasn't watched to the end ;)
@@tennistv 😂👍
Tennis TV maybe I just wanted a reply back :)
It is Tsonga's time to shine
Most wanted video ever
Yeah
Where is a shot of Nishikori vs Youzhny ?
Hein 😳
ua-cam.com/video/1-SyIa3Vu4A/v-deo.html
This is.
2:37 when you can hit one-handed winners but not actual hands
I knew Tsonga would appear many times.
Regarding Thiem, he actually started his career with a double-handed backhand, and then, under his coach's suggestion, he changed to a single-handed.
Tsonga and Monfils ❤🔥
Felix did this today against Med in the AO quarters!
One handed backhand is the best stroke, but Thiem’s rare doubtle handed backhand was a surprise. Good thing he is still a one handed backhand player❤
@daniell not that, only surebets on Betnetto.
Why does Tsonga show up so much even though he doesn't have a one-hander. I never see him in any other highlight reels
Could you please do a compilation of the funniest reactions from a player to completely insane shots?
I was there last year for Felix's pass!! It was incredible!
What an interesting video idea!
2:37 lmao the last dude didn’t get his high five
that one from tomic made me smile what an amazing player
Tsonga's one-handed backhand is nearly as dangerous as Stan's.
The French just have an absolute respect for the one-handed backhand -- these are the same boys who grew up watching Federer, Henin, Wawrinka, and Mauresmo. If you ask all of them, their tennis idol is Federer so it makes sense.
Tsonga and Monfils top this category but Goffin should get a special mention here,he has done this one hander backhand few times beautifully.
Is this the longest title ever in UA-cam?
Try to make another
10 MINUTES OF: Amazing Two-Handed Backhand Winners From Tennis Players With A One-Handed Backhand!
Lowkey these two handers when they attempt a one hand are prob like “Federer!!”
Personally I think you've missed the great backhand winner that Murray hit vs Duckworth at the Brisbane International last year (2019). Wasn't it single handed? What's more impressive imo is he did it with still a majorly damaged hip. If I remember rightly, the match was before he had his 2nd hip surgery as the first 1 didn't work out.
The best in that list is Tsonga
The one-backhand winner from Tsonga against Herbert in the 3rd match at OA 2016 is not showed here but was incredible as well.
What is OA? or do you mean AO (Australian open). If that's the case, this channel doesn't have the rights to show points from GS.
@@felipemaldonado8028 that's it. I'm french, so i have inverted the letters! Thanks for this detail.
@@maignialfrancois8170 Makes sense now, in Spanish would be AA :P
nice, guy
I mean if we include grand slam points too Tsonga alone could have top 10 one handed backhand winners =)))
That was a Long title
5:18 GOAT
I didn't see Federer at 5:18
Though natural-born right-handed, I can hit a left-handed one-handed winner from time to time. Life is too short. Why not try your best possible?
I feel like most players with 2hbh mess around with the 1hbh during practice so they are comfortable using it during matches.
Tsonga (along with Berdych, Ferrer, Davydenko, Nalbadian) is one the best man to not win a slam.
They're mile better than Zverev, Tsitsipas, Medvedev,...
It's such a pity that they had to face Nadal, Federer, Djokovic at their prime!
Nalbandian alone is even better than most GS winners.
all the people(the old ones) you listed have major flaws in their game, thats why they didn't win.. a big serve and an exceptional forehand are fundamental to the modern game and none of the listed have that (with the exeption of tsonga who have both but has a terrible easily exploited backhand) ... the young ones zverev, tsitsi, med, shapo, faa, have much more potential than all those guys mainly bcs of their serve and forehand and also bcs they dont have a major weakness..
sometimes you just need to do it
They should outlaw two-handed backhands
Sometimes I forget that Monfils plays with a two-handed
@T1mTenn1s hahahahahhaahhahahahahaha Backhand
I think the world will be a better place if most of the players play like Tsonga, use DHBH for high balls and SHBH for the rest
I only regret that the person responsible for the selection of the bids has forgotten Gustavo Kuerten, one of the best One-Handed Backhand Winners From Tennis.
The video is about two handers hitting one hand winners. So Kuerten is not and should not be in the video ;-)
awwwww you guys could’ve added when dimitrov hit a two-handed against mannarino in acapulco. good video though. i liked it
Someone can explain me why tsonga is not one handed backhand?
Who ever coached him was thinking more about the trending nature of tennis i.e everyone was playing with two hands and not what was best for Tsonga's game
steve johnson enters the chat
No shot against Nadal, Tsonga tried it against him after the reaction tweener
Has Djokovic done one handers?
2:39 - Every single time I try to highfive
Hahahahahahahahaah lol
That was very funny
You missed a few by Fognini:
ua-cam.com/video/v9K8pqx4xG8/v-deo.html (at the beginning of that)
ua-cam.com/video/0MfF-p5JtqU/v-deo.html
ua-cam.com/video/D50_3QwSwVI/v-deo.html (that one's incredible, although I'm not sure if Davis Cup is allowed to be shown on this channel)
@1.41....Suddenly X Files theme played
Rios did it too.
5:22 is not a winner btw
ye ye ye technically you're right but it was so awesome that it deserved its spot in this video :)
Remember kids most points are won off errors not winners....
It's akways the passing shots
French Players Are THE Specialist .. BOOMSKHI !!!
Good idea but come on, most of them are not proper clean backhands, the're either counters or wrist-flicks... 🤦♂️ !
Exactly what i was thinking
It's the exact type of shots one handers would hit at full stretch or on the the run with no time for a full swing pedantic much
@@TheSupinesmokey, I know. My point stands.
Mostly it is a compilation of one handed passing shots not a full flow single hander except a few
so if a one hander was trying to hit a passing shot on the run would they not hit a similar shot ,the distinction is pedantic at best
@@TheSupinesmokey The thing is I was excited to see the full swing one handed backhand winner from two handed backhand guys alright. That wasn't there
5:21 NOT A WINNER 100th comment yoo
The shot at 4:27 is crazy
This is how many one-handers Tsonga has hit ⬇️
Federer is with one handed backhand
??? The fu ck you're saying ?
thiem two handed backhand wtf wtf :v
doesn't Thiem use a single backhand? if so why is he oin the list here
He started his career with a two hander but changed
The guy opposite him hit it
Rafa did it once, but that's wimbledon. What a shame!
Most of the shots are slices. It's not a single hand backhand, sorry
This could have been 10 minutes of Stan Wawrinka. So instead, you don't feature him at all.
Makes sense.
Stan Wawrinka doesn't have a two handed backhand though
The title would have been more accurate if It mentioned one-handed backhand *passing shot* winners.
I was thinking what so special about 2-handed players hitting one handed backhand drop shots or volley winners...
That goes without saying for obvious reasons
some kind of racist compilation. Like white plays worse )))
