What does everyone think of the countdown?!
Couple of answers to some comments...
- This is shots at ATP Tour events, we don't own the rights to show Grand Slam footage
- This is just the 2000s decade so 2000-2009, so that's why a shot from 2015 isn't in there 😉
Please do everything in your power to get the rights to grand slam footage, otherwise these highlights aren't nearly as good as they could be
@Vipul lol crybaby detected again😂
That explains no Wawrinka
@Vipul How is it biased? Tell me
Where is the Schriparn (doubts with his name) against Ferrer in Canada with an unreal slide?
So many impressive ones, but that Cuevas dive at #3 was unreal.
Agreed, very impressive.
The world glitched. It’s physically impossible. xD
truly sensational!
My jaw dropped. It should’ve been number one on the list.
I had never seen the Cuevas one. What a shot !!
I don't know how cuevas shot is fantastic
This shot introduced me to Cuevas. Now the rest is history.
I have only seen it 100 times.
Against gonzo ... even gonzo give a clap to him
he should have been #1
Nadal is still fast, but he was SO fast back then
He kinda flew over the court and those converted forehands were just amazing
You know you like this sport when you have already seen all of these 😎💪
When you have seen all them live! The old days...
I'm consumed by jealousy!
"IT's nOt CruEl, it'S a gReAt TeNnIs ShOt" Why does this commentator feel the need to shut down his fellow commentators all the time?
stripped the poetry out of his co-commentator's statement completely
As only Doug Adler can. He seems to do this with every commentator he works with.
THANK YOU FOR COMMENTING THIS. I wanted to scream when I heard him say that.
i want to punch their face when one of them always say "its unreeeeaaal, are you kidding me"??? its so hypocrit!!
When ?
Basically, Federer, Djokovic, Nadal highlight reel
Really 🤔 no M O N F I L S
@@love4lust7301 Yes there is one clip at least.
20:46 here, this is the best point
Agree
Best point yes, but best shot def 24:37
13:35 Yes! So glad to see Srichaphan included. People know Djokovic as flexible but man Srichaphan was insane!
His one at Cincinnati 2004 was even better tho
the Delpo shot at 10:20 was seen as miraculous and audacious in 2007 whereas now Kygrios pulls off shots of a similar quality almost every match he plays
I love the reactions from the players! Moments like these are what makes tennis a wholesome sport despite the masses of argumentative fans out there. That smile from young Roger like "heck yeah, I just did that and I'm proud" after No. 46 just radiates good feelings! And Ivanisevic's shirt gag, young Novak's confidence and humbleness--it's almost like he was discovering his talent as he played out points, and was in disbelief when we won them--and Hewitt's high five...I'm already having a grand time five minutes through the video!!
Young Nadal and Monfils are amazing runners.
They are still the best runners
I just love it when young Roger just SLAPS a one-hander down the line, it's so satisfying.
18:15 THAT BACKHAND 😎
Never saw a shot like that ever again. Gasquet magic!
Its the good ol gasquet
Fedal made 21 of them
You made me proud
Mahut laying on the ground shaking his fists... 😂
That diving get from Cuevas was insane!
2000s was such a great and diverse decade! You still had Sampras and Agassi, then all "new balls please generation" at their peak, and Nadal/Dj/Murray/DelPo emerging.
3 solid generations of tennis in one decade. Can't say the same about the 2010's.
BrunoPuntzJones84 exactly. In 2010s we saw that except Fed all his peers were gone/retired and then total domination by Nadal/Djok/Mur and only slight emergence of “next gen” which didn’t really show any results that are even remotely close to their peers in early 2000s.
It was the best. You won't see that anymore, the kind of variety of styles that Fed's generation and the ones before them had.
Mid 2000s had the best prospects: an amazing N1 like Federer, all kind of great and different players like Nalbandian, Safin, Hewitt, Ljubicic, Haas or Davydenko, and the best generation of young players like Nadal, Berdych, Gasquet, Tsonga, Wawrinka, Djokovic, Murray, Del Potro, etc.
And some “fans“ still call it a “weak era“
Nadal was pretty much a clay king at that era
15:57 clay court perfection from Nadal. Even with Djokovic going constantly to his backhand he managed to defend like that and cover every inch of the court.
Federer with the top spot!
was it ever in doubt....the GOAT!
That shot does not deserve the top spot on this list tbh
@@danielpham1896 It certainly does. What shot would you put at first sport?
@@Nicotine46 cuevas deserved the top spot
“In THIS Mercedes Benz Play of the Week...”
5:27, just brilliant, Nadal and Djokovic having a full go at each other and Nadal landing the killer forehand..and the reaction of the crowd!! Just beautiful!!
The best decade in tennis history was the last decade (2010-19) and the 3 best players of that decade were: Djokovic: 15 GS and 5 times number1. Nadal: 13 GS and 4 times number1. Murray: 3 GS and 1 time number1.
I would like to see the best shots of this decade.
Nadal legs, federer hands e djokovic mind is the goat
Well this is best comment I have seen 👏👏
NADAL MIND
let me fix up some things about this comment. You are about there, but not quite. Federer legs, Federer hands, Federer mind is the goat. Oh wait that's just Federer
@@gordonh9921 well you have to ruin it don't you
Federes's mind you meant to
Rafael Nadal,Novak Djokovich and Roger Federer are the legends that made millions of people be the fan of tennis
The Nadal-Djokovic rally of the Madrid Masters in 2009 when Djokovic was on match point with the ball bouncing and spinning and both players grunting until Nadal rips a clutch forehand and then lets out a roar was probably the most savage rally of the 2000s. Starts at around 5:30 in the video.
Great stuff!! most of those shots I've never seen before keep it up
Damn i really miss guys like Davydenko, González, Blake, Nalbandian and Ríos!! Very fun to Watch
#9 is the best rally, and #3 is the best shot
I was always happy with ATP and how they make all this videos, all this years...
The #3 by Cuevas is unbelievable!
Gaudios backhand at 42😍
👏👏👏
#9 is the most complete tennis point you will ever see. It had every shot in the tennis repertoire - lobs, volley, drop shots, inside out forehands, half volley, slices-you name it, it was there
I love these highlights, but that cuevas shot at #3 was so impressive!
The perfect tennis video doesn't exi--
The BEST tennis channel.
Soy chileno pero la de cuevas a gonzales fue notable 👏
El ruido de la gente nunca escuche en tenis algo igual. Solo en fútbol. No Conocía esa jugada, fue fantastica
#2 is better than #1
fantastic video!
Fernando González ! 🇨🇱 Forehand of fear !
Such an awesome compilation, this channel has put out so many great videos over the last couple years. I have to say though, #38 (5:27) deserves to be higher. Arguably the greatest 3 set match of all time, nearly 4 hours in, and Nadal saves match point with that? One of the all time points not at a major (which is what these videos feature since majors aren't atp events). Crowd just explodes after Nadal's winner.
Great video, thanks. My favorite points are:
42-37-35-3-26-25-17-15-13-11-10-9 and The Top 5
The 25th with Agassi is just the perfect representation of the middle finger in tennis.
God I wish I could pull that of against high balls.
I really enjoyed that 'no bullshit' backhand by Agassi against Nadal at 12:46.
Agassi has someone in the team, LOL
#43 shot deserves a higher spot
22 is ridiculous blown away every time I see it
Watching this just reminds me how nice Roddick was
I think it’s fair to say that Rafa is the king of creating amazing rallies lol
My breathing is stopping whenever I watch Nadal's defence
Fed's lob over Agassi is better than his smash against Roddick imo. I've never seen anyone pull off a winner in that position before, unreal racquet control.
Great compilation of points. A lot of them from Madrid 2009 Noel vs Nadal. Absolutely disagree with number 1 and number 2, there were much better points .. For me the best point was Hewitt vs Federer .
I didn’t see a single weak player from the “weakest” era of tennis. Everybody was mindblowingly good IMO.
Well these are highlights so these are only the player’s best shots, so if you analyze every single one of their matches, then that’s when you see they are not consistent.
Bcz weak era is from 2012 to 2021.
@@shafqatishan437 it is the strongest tennis era
@@climatechange9893 😆😆😆😆 clearly u r a noob who never watched tennis b4 !
There’s nothing else in the world like watching Nadal on clay 👑
When peak Fed is about to hit it, the ball seems to stop for a moment. Unreal.
Nadal and federer have many point on this 👏🏻
I agree. Are the world 1,2 and 3 of the decade the only ones producing great shots? Anyone can remember a lot of better shots from lower ranked players that don't appear on this list. Someone just mention the Cuevas shot, Gasquet's backhand rallies , Dustin Brown improvised shots , etc. I find this countdown disappointing.
Clearly missing some grand slam points but still a awesome vid btw
1位でロディックがラケットを軽く投げつけるところが好き。「お前すごいわ、勘弁してくれよ」みたいな顔。
Seems Roland Garros will happen. The tournament director said “we have avoided cancellation”
#9 what a point. And incredible that the gaudio vs santoro point from australian open (right?) isn't here. I swear that was the best point that I ever seen
Agassi's backhand Vs Nadal is the best I've seen
LoooooooL, I am like: WTF this is doing here?
Woow three points of only one Match. Montreal Final between Agassi and Nadal
Who is the one in number 10?? That shot was amazing!! I thought it was Nalbandian jajaja
Dick Norman
Belgian Dick Norman, for me the best "hot shot" from these 50
I has the same confusion. I dont know if is Nalbandia or Feliciano Lopez
Even the ATP can’t get clips without the Mercedes Benz man voiceover
Cuevas is a real shotmaker 😎🤙🤙🤙
#9 is amazing
#3 should be #1.
Poor Davydenko
36 was fun to watch
Cuevas had to change his species to get that shot
DUDE NUMBER 37 IS INSANE
My favorite shot is Agassi over the shoulder cold winner vs Correjta at US Open.
Basically a highlight reel of the 2009 Madrid Finals between Rafa and Djokovic.
2 was better than 1
Malek jaziri deserved the top spot
no habrá sido pura cueva?
0:20 when you mix badminton with tennis
10:10 DelPo before he decided to get a haircut.
2:50 Chinese Rivers
16 deserve to be in top 10
17:51 wow wow wow
#9 was my top 1.
Its 22:00, now wait 2 minutes. Whats later?
I watch Monfils at #22 and I just can't compute how someone can run from A to B to A that quickly. Mind boggling. Also like Murray's at #28, unique shot.
I think Feds overhead lob Vs Djokovic in 08 USO deserves a big shout, surprised not to see it in there.
My favorite points
47,46,42,41,38,34,33,30,29,27,22,20,19,17,15,9,7,6,3
Nice video!
Thank you,atp tennis.
Federer's decade
how is it possible tweener from Federer during the 2009 US Open semi-final is not in the TOP 50 ?
@Feed me a hammer and I will crap out nails. take it easy, you don't have to be so rude
I'm waiting😂
Nro. 43 👏👏👏
after this video i expect every match to have a between the legs winner per 3 points
Too bad the shot from Monfils vs Ljubicic at Queens is missing
The fact that Murray only features on one of these and they didn't include his shot to win the 2016 Rome Masters is criminal...
this one is for the shots between 2000 and 2009, there is another one for the 2010s
i´ll switch 50 insteed of 12 no doubt, the momentum and the quality of the point
I think they put it so high because he did such ridiculous thing on a match point
Federer - Zabaleta Rome 2003
49 was the best by far in my opinion.
The thumbnail will tell you how JayZ would look as a tennis player.
The top 2 shots were hit by Federer and Nadal. They are the GOAT!!!!!! 🐐
Number 9 Federer: OK; I am good but need to improve.
Number 8 Federer: Done.
