This has to be some kind of record for water pump pliers. I love seeing massive collections like this. It's definitely the biggest collection I've ever seen of these. It must have taken a long time to collect that many. Which ones do you like most?
In the year since this video was made I’ve gotten a lot more! But yeah, it’s been a while collecting. Knipex cobra or the Gedore ones are my favorites.
Last year I struggled with a pair of groove joint pliers on a job that made life miserable, and since then I've been buying and collecting various models like there's no tomorrow! I now have around 15 pairs spread out in 3 toolboxes and one workshop. But your collection is just crazy!! Great stuff!
Wow, thanks for showcasing your massive collection. I enjoyed the vintage lot....the stylized handle grips are always a pleasure to watch. I think my favourite are the Belzers.
I have alligators and they're excellent but the Channellock GL10's still live in my toolbelt for size and comfort. If things get difficult I dig out the knipex.
Very interesting, I have Gedore, VBW, Knipex, and some Skandia with some kinda of automatic system, it looked very good when i bought but it got stuck after using like 20 times..
I wouldn’t get any work done if I had that lot because it would take me two days to decide which pair to use. I thought I was a bit odd collecting old Australian made G clamps. What made you decide to collect water pump pliers? Cheers Stuart 🇦🇺

I took the link from Garage Journal. Nice Video and fine Pliers collection. Do you made good experience with the old Bahco 8224's? The jaws look a bit unusual, how do they grip on rounded Fasteners?

16:19 sorry buddy but these are not “stamped steel” but are clearly forged just like every other pair. The may look a bit different but they absolutely are drop forged. I personally could tell the second I laid eyes on them.

There isn't many things in the world more painful than old vbw pliers when the joint slips and pinches your finger. God I hate those pliers.
Pinch free design really is one of the big improvements!

I like the Gedore pair. I think they're almost of par with the Knipex cobra

Beñito I wouldn’t recommend them actually, I think the newer jaw designs are better, like the 722X series.

There so many things worse you could do than collect Water Pump Pliers. I personally have a bit of a problem with resin handled screwdrivers.
