Again, men like him paved the way for Latin people as did men like Danny Trejo. Years and years of grinding on the smaller roles and now the doors have been opened for the likes of Jenna. You should still acknowledge the fact that they were the first…Rita Moreno, Selma Hayek, Danny Trejo, Luis Guzman, Edward Olmos and many more…these ARE the people that represent Latinos and have proven that we can play more then just the barrio stereo type characters. Jenna got the role because she's easy on the eye's and her skin already looks like ash so she costs less in make-up. Next thing casting did was make sure that she could at least read the script verbatim in monotone. Once you can do that; Directing will let you take as many takes as they think the editors would need and chop it up post filming for each season.
Its one of her first big roles She had smaller roles before in a couple of shows like in season 2 of you she plays the 15 year old girl that joe befriends. And she was in a bunch of commurcials as a child. I Personally know her from You and now Wednesday. I think she is going places for sure ! I Weirdly like thats she doesn't have this big disney background it often sets actors back this might work in her favor disney acting is mostly silly. And her break out roles show she has lots of talent right away.

Its a lot harder then most characters today. Not all characters stay emotionless or they are seen as villain's, compared to this its completely different. You might want to go to acting class and make an entire movie on a character like this before you speak ill of the skill it takes to master a character of this extreme degree. Its the same thing with a character thats happy all the time, an example would be Enid. Its extremely difficult to put that much emotion into something you repeatedly do in a day. You know they do the same scene like 30-50 times, maybe even more, a day to get the perfect shot? Its not easy at all. The characters in this franchise are portrayed in a specific way. Their whole job is pretending to be someone else that someone seemingly random made, it makes it extremely more difficult when it comes to extreme or lack of expression. You know she only blinks in the first episode right? unless something specifically called for her closing her eyes. So all these scenes that were repeatedly filmed with her she had to keep her eyes open, thats difficult enough, lol

Jenna’s portrayal of Wednesday is another favorite and I say this because Jenna’s portrayal matches up to Christina Ricci’s Wednesday yet is unique and memorable in her own style rather than just being a carbon copy or substitute of Christina’s version. Congratulations, Jenna Ortega!

I first saw her in the sequel Babysitter Killer Queen, YOU, Yes Day, and then in other roles. People consider her one of the scream queens of this generation based on her acting in 2022’s Scream and X (I remember her acting in this movie and I can tell that even after time passes I’ll still remember it). I like how in big and small roles, she still does great in acting them either way. Lots of her roles are different from her in real life and if you put them in a room, they’d have a tough time forming and maintaining a conversation because of how different they are.
When I first saw the teaser of Wednesday months before the show’s release, I was happy and held no doubts once I recognized her in the dress and pigtails. After watching the show, I certainly wasn’t disappointed in her acting and I became more impressed when learning all the things she did for her portrayal of Wednesday and how it was executed, especially her improvised dancing. Jenna’s portrayal of Wednesday is another favorite and I say this because Jenna’s portrayal matches up to Christina Ricci’s Wednesday yet is unique and memorable in her own style rather than just being a carbon copy or substitute of Christina’s version. Congratulations, Jenna Ortega!
