I weigh a little under 140lbs and I have a lynx and I find it to be just too bulky and heavy for the most part I have a v11 in addition to it and I'm planning on selling the Lynx and getting the : V11Y to supplement it. I definitely have not been feeling the sheer weight and bulk of the bigger wheels. It's totally taken out the fun factor that eucs always had for me! I'm thinking that a wheel that's a bit above half my body weight is the sweet spot, which ends up being in that low 70lb range. It would be killer to have a wheel that had a bit over 2000wh which was just at the 70lb mark with suspension! All that being said, I like the v11 a lot because of the way it rides. It accelerates and breaks really easily it feels fairly powerful, and the battery packs are low beneath the pedals, which I think gives it a nice feeling of stability.
Yup my links was offsetting a lot. Finally I am getting used to it but smaller wheels I have way more control and at lower speeds a bully wheel is harder to control, all the crack heads jumping out of the bushes all the time gets old.

Price is just the biggest thing for me, my last wheel (I have 3) was 1800 euro on a used shemax which I'm still riding on. Now I could today spend quite a bit more then that for a top tier euc, but when every hyped model is 3000-5000 I'm out.
Thnx for video! V14 50S is my one love. Cool dynamic after V11. Yes. its weight 40 kg, but in comparison to v11 feels more lighter then 27 kg V11 cause of incredible power and 16 inch diameter
Been thinking about this for ages.... race specific wheels ... modular batteries.... carry enough power for 1 race at a time... drop in fresh power cells for the next heat... why not?
I think they did a great job with the Falcon, even though it is 55lbs, the small form factor and having a front and back handle makes it very easy to carry. And the small tire diameter makes it feel powerful and nimble. It just lacks range, but there's no need for it in a wheel that size. Would love to see a wheel in between the Falcon and Extreme. Smart BMS, 55mph freespin, 16x3 tubeless knobby, DS200 shock, 65-70lbs in magnesium, 1500wh, 100v-126v. It would be a T4 killer, but gotta innovate.
@@lewinwild yeah, I'm basically asking for a T4 Max that is lighter with Smart BMS. Should be doable with new materials, but that makes it a different wheel.
I have to say that I still love my 100v MSX, 1230wh version. Even though it has 12000+ miles on it, it still performs great! It's now my commuter wheel, with my Lynx for longer/faster rides
The falcon is better sure but they are definitely in the same category....the falcon is more fun but also has only 60mm travel, similar max speed and range.
I actually would prefer a falcon but the top speed kinda sucks, but it is street legal. Just starting to get used to the big eycs after quite a while. It would be nice to have both. Tire change on an mten3 is rediculous....
I love my Begode RS 19 HS for street and daily riding. It's compact, powerful, with enough battery and under 30kg. When it will break, I don't know what wheel can replace it.
These look fun but I gotta go with the cargo ebike for my next transportation purchase. Maybe someday I'll have one of these as well for the sheer fun.
I've bought s16 PRO as my first wheel. Perfect for commuting, 30-40km rides and light off-road. I'm close to 1000km with no major problems. Once the mosfet overheated and the pedal lock bracket came loose.
The Only wheel I’ve ever ridden is my CP 50s so I have nothing to compare it too and I love it and it feels great for power and range. Maybe I’ll get another wheel this coming year. Cheers
Hey Adam! Great video, love having these minutes to chill out with you haha I'd say the Begode T4 is still kinda perfect, only problem being the lack of a Smart BMS. What about the V14, won't you put it in this category too? Falcon seems amazing, I just wish it had 1500-1800Wh man haha Enjoy the ride! 🤙🏻
I went for the kingsong s18 despite is age purely for low weight and suspension. As a fairly small, weak person, I still pulled a muscle lifting it into a car trunk. I want something modern that's even lighter
I feel like the Begode A2+ is kinda the best available for a new, small , inexpensive no suspension wheel. None of the other companies have come out with something like that. The falcon though is a nice upgrade from that for not alot more.
Got a MasterV4 a couple months ago. I only ride it on my 14 mile work commute or going to a friend's house that's a few miles away over pothole laden roads where I have a place to park it and don't have to carry it up or down stairs. Otherwise, I ride my V10f, which is far more enjoyable, and far easier to deal with if I'm stopping in anywhere.
I think they are listening because ive been asking for a heavy uni-motorcycle that can comfortably cruise at 60mph with 22+ inch wheel for a while now and it seems i may finaly get it. Light for off-road heavy for cruiser
Good to hear at least an intention of small... I learned on a V8F and that's technically heftable into a car. Now I've resigned myself to always riding an S18 because that's as heavy as I can go. I've hurt myself plenty of times carrying it up and down stairs and over fallen trees so something like an S19 is... Godzilla. We're getting to the era where you can literally buy folding motorcycle ramps for loading your EUC into a car, wtf... may as well just get a Surron at that point since mobility is gone. I need to make a new spreadsheet crunching weights and from there maybe see if anything on the market looks good yet. Honestly, I could just stick with an S18 permanently since they're all tanks comparatively when it comes to offroad suspension EUCs.
I love the V14, but sometimes I miss the playfulness of my old S18. If they release a V14 mini that somehow drops 5kg with a slightly smaller battery and maybe even lighter motor, I would be very tempted. Even better if they can learn from LeaperKim and do it with lighter materials.
@@jimmux_v0 yeah unfortunately, you have to 3d print dummy batteries to fill in the empty spots. I'm sure they don't sell skinnier packs, which would be nice.
I'm wanting to see EUCs come out with an interface where developers/hackers can tap into (like CAN bus) so we can make HUDs within helmets etc. the more and more come out with easy to plug in interface, the more addition accessories we can see coming out
The begode falcon is a small brother of ks-s18, which I think is the better option than the falcon. You can buy used s18 for 1000 dollars and just swap the batteries to Samsung 50s. That's it, you got the better version of falcon
Swapping batteries is not going to give you much other than better reliability. Old wheels need firmware updates to really take advantage of the 50s power delivery capabilities etc which you are not going to get from just throwing them in an old wheel. The s18 also looks like ass and all the plastic fairings just break off when dropping it
I still use the good old Kingsong 16x with 24 kg and I would like the new unicycles to have some lightweight options, I don't like big and heavy unicycles.
Darn. Grizzla doesn't appear to protect the V14 front protrusions near the front light. Crashed my V14 a month ago on one of those protruding surfaces and a corner of the cast-metal controller box broke away and bent the under-structure. Now, no longer waterproof or safe for the controller. I was hoping for front impact armor and something for the black or orange plastic side panels. Yikes!!!
@jimmux_v0 I love the way my V14 feels, but my Extreme is the better value because it costs less and can be aftermarket protected. But, 16" (technically 18") wheels are becoming older technology. With the lower magnesium weight, today's 20" wheels are hitting the sweet-spot. Fun-fact: My daughter and I raced up that dam incline at Fullerton Loop and the V14 almost always beat the Extreme, but the Extreme won almost everything else.
@@EUCme I do like the Extreme a lot. I need a bit more confidence with waterproofing, but if not I probably would have got it instead. No regrets though, the climbing ability of the V14 has served me very well.
Should definitely get the extremebull x max if you can find one. Really liked the look of this wheel and would of got one just for the looks alone but my Knees thank me that i got a suspension wheel 😂
I dont like how it dips, but I did come from the small wheels. For long cruses it is nice. Euc beat every scooter I ever had. Those things die faster than they go.
I keep telling people.. The most a wheel should weight is around a 100 pounds at the most. I think we'll get our wish of lighter wheels, yet able to do long distance, as the energy density of batteries increase. My guess is that we'll get twice the energy density within 3 years.
The big weight savings will come with next gen batteries with higher energy density. There's only so much weight they can cut outside of the packs. Imagine if the battery packs shaved 20% of their weight and dimensions, about 5-6 kg from the wheel, with a lower center of gravity. Throw in the possibility for new chemistries that are incapable of starting on fire, such as solid state, or significantly less likely, such as high energy density LFP cells. Add in that some of these cell chemistries will actually be cheaper to manufacture because of less high priced metals like Nickel and Cobalt, or possibly less or no Lithium. EUC OEMs have been listening to the community a ton on their higher end wheels; now we just need some revised lower end wheels with some of this new tech. I think we have to remember that these aren't large / rich OEMs. It takes them time to develop and refine tech and design better products, to source new metals and setup manufacturing contracts. It also takes time to grow the customer base of those willing spend more on higher tech wheels with better materials. What I would give for a super light weight 30 mph wheel with suspension and a smart BMS, and redundancies to avoid board / fuse / hall sensor related cutouts. The suspension doesn't even need to be great.
One reason Im not looking at larger/heavier wheels than s22 myself is in part because I have had a persistant tennis+golf elbow since 2 years ago, dont fancy lifting/handling bulky/chunky wheels :/
Now got 4300 km on my begode extreme no maintaince en still the same outher tire.🎉 My first euc ever since feb 2 this year. Blitz is better? Like to refresh the wheel and thinking of getting a extreme again. Ps i do jumps, drive hard at single tracks en do big drops. Only off road
Hey WrongWay, thanks for the content. I am new to EUC and currently ride a V12HT, but want to buy either a Lynx or an ET Max. I ride 95% street and some trails here and there, and so I was leaning towards the Max. Since you have ridden both, are you able to recommend one over the other for me? THey are very expensive, and i have no friends who ride so it is hard for me to get opinions of experienced riders. Thanks, and thanks again for all your content!
Bro I have the ET max as long of EUC the falcon which is my pocket rocket with suspension and the exn hs which is a powerhouse performance wheel with speakers and weighs 33kg... Notice how they're all begodes. 😊😊😊😊😊
Its a no brainer: the V8S !!! $699, no tax, free shipping. I put 3,400 miles on it in last 14 months. Glorious miles 🤗. .... V14 !!! $2,999. Purchased last month. I hav 440 miles on it. Portability ? El crappo 😁. Not really pleased w performance either. (Btw: Sport mode, 100% hardness, 50% acc assist, 100% braking assist). Carves poorly w stock tire at all pressures. Does not stop worth a damn (stock pads). Sorta stops at 100% assist. But "assist" comes w a delay.. A DELAY !! Wtf. Why does it do that braking ?? Accelerating, yeah. Braking? Clueless firmware. Certainly rules offroad though 👍. Does brake well on death steep dirt descents. Pedestrian suddenly jump out in front of u? Think of a car that needs u to "prepare": brace your body, use both feet on the brake pedal, wait out the braking assist until it gathers steam... By then u just broke a pedestrians lower legs. Anyway, i just ordered the kenda 241. Hopefully that will work miracles. Ongoing. Will advise.. V8S for the price, portability, fun factor, home depot aisle cruising 🙂, and deft padless performance it just rocks. Yes it can climb any asphalt hill easily: cause u carve radically as u climb. What a good & useful wheel.
Hi Adam, cooles Video und cooler Helm. Leider sieht man dein Gesicht nicht. Was war die längste Strecke die du an einem Tag zurück gelegt hast? Mit schnelles aufladen der 🔋 in den Pausen.
It's very uncomfortable, almost not doable without the seat. It's designed in a way that the light is still visible. In this video my light was disconnected (error during maintenance)
If you want to take it grocery shopping - 1000%. The V12 has a hidden feature. The thin trolley handle is perfect to hang your full face helmet on. Helmet hangs on the front of the V12 with the chinguard around the handle. Invaluable when you enter a supermarket. One drawback is the front and rear lights that both need intervention after purchase. The front lowbeam light just need to be cutoff with some black tape, to prevent it from blinding everyone in front. I use a piece of carbon fiber protective film cut to shape. Looks neat. The rear lights however is so dark it needs to have holes drilled through the light cover panel and then cover the holes with clear protective film. Need a drill. I used 2, 4, 6, 9 mm drill bits to get the perfect 9 mm holes. Ten holes per side with about 11 mm between them. Just put masking tape on the transparent part of the panel and you can measure and draw on the tape, and then drill through the tape. Recommend to disassemble the wheel to remove the panel before you drill. The reward you get is a wheel that have absolutely SICK rear lights. Best on the market.
Nice punny title. All these big wheel are a heavy commitment, a choice you shouldn't take lightly. The EUC industry has been weighing my mood down for a while, but it starts to feel like them listening to us lightens a load off my shoulders. It's good to demand improvements and be heavy-handed with feedback.
I got a kingsong S18. It was heavy to me @ first. But then I bought the V13. After that when I try the Kingsong S18, I think it is too light for me(145lb). It make me feel like I being blow away when I catch a strong wind. I think 70-90lb is a comfortable weight and feel more stable.
@mr_wrongway hahaha My msx 84v was like 50lbs (23kg), then rs19 hs 59lbs (27kg) and that was considered heavy long back. Haha The new stuff are insane. XD

It would be a T4 killer, but gotta innovate.
honestly I'd take a T4 with water resistance
oh & smart BMS
Besides voltage that's literally an S16 pro
@@lewinwild yeah, I'm basically asking for a T4 Max that is lighter with Smart BMS. Should be doable with new materials, but that makes it a different wheel.
@@Elonox-m1oI was looking at the S16 Pro before getting the Falcon and the 84v and 72lbs were my reasons to pass on it.
I have to say that I still love my 100v MSX, 1230wh version. Even though it has 12000+ miles on it, it still performs great! It's now my commuter wheel, with my Lynx for longer/faster rides
e25 is not a Falcon competitor. It has less battery and much less power. e25 is pure commuter, Falcon is "fun around the block".
Yeah, I think the better comparison is the V11Y. About 70lbs, 30mph, 45 or so miles of range.
Cargo bikes are sick! Have fun!
@mr_wrongway Thanks dude, be well :)
Good form factor just needs more upgrades.
I went for the kingsong s18 despite is age purely for low weight and suspension. As a fairly small, weak person, I still pulled a muscle lifting it into a car trunk. I want something modern that's even lighter
I would just like the Falcon to be cheaper and not come with the integrated side pads. Just gimme flat panels with velcro.
Seems a lot of people dont like the pads. Grizzla rocks.
I love my S19 for cruising. My Ex30 is just so heavy.
The RS is my first and only wheel so far, and it has been amazing! Saving for an upgrade sometime next year but probably will never get ride of my RS.
@@jimmux_v0 V14 50s two battery mode. Supported by manufacturer. Half the range, more than 5kg lighter
I gotta check out this mode!
@@s0d4c4n Half the range might be too much of a sacrifice. I should have added, a slightly narrower body would be a nice bonus.
@@jimmux_v0 yeah unfortunately, you have to 3d print dummy batteries to fill in the empty spots. I'm sure they don't sell skinnier packs, which would be nice.
@@mr_wrongway I would love your thoughts on it if you do!
This is a great topic and a great video. I love my V14 but I already know what I want for my next wheel, (a high power suspension wheel that is
I'm wanting to see EUCs come out with an interface where developers/hackers can tap into (like CAN bus) so we can make HUDs within helmets etc. the more and more come out with easy to plug in interface, the more addition accessories we can see coming out
We need VESC wheels!
love your work
Thanks! Love that you're watching!
I find the Lynx the best balance of weight handling and range...I want a backup wheel but just cant find anything like it yet
Ya I ride for hours and so far only got it down to 78% very impresive. My mten3 dies at like 35 minutes now but I torch the hell out of it.
The s18 also looks like ass and all the plastic fairings just break off when dropping it
the t4 just needs to get a 3500w motor and an option with no suspension and its perfect
Yikes!!!
If someone sold replacement panels in carbon fibre or something strong like that, I would seriously consider it.
Please tell me you have something to do with that “A1” video I’ve seen 🤞🤞 I love the squared off flat look and 84V is perfect for its size
I like my Begode Master V4, its the perfect weight.
I dont like how it dips, but I did come from the small wheels. For long cruses it is nice. Euc beat every scooter I ever had. Those things die faster than they go.
I'd love more commuter level products with the ability to handle some basic curb hops, but not do BMX trick courses.
It's a falcon maybe?
I'm definitely still waiting for a nice taller light town cruiser like a manual unicycle. Tall rim with a light motor
I understand taller, but the falcon is super fun for a town cruiser. I love it.
@@boblatkey7160 I definitely have my eye on the falcon, but I'm also waiting to see a teardown of the e25.
tall rim with light motor is not really a good combo. the larger the wheel the more power you need
@@greenwave819 Mythbusters SBU
I keep telling people.. The most a wheel should weight is around a 100 pounds at the most.
I think we'll get our wish of lighter wheels, yet able to do long distance, as the energy density of batteries increase.
My guess is that we'll get twice the energy density within 3 years.
KS s18 remains the lightweight champ in 2024.
20kg
2200W
1100Wh
Suspension
Weight.....wait.....WRONG WAY
!!!
@mr_wrongway I love u dude you're awesome 😎
S18 Pro+ with updated 50s cells, how bore motor, new motherboard, 25kg!!
I'll probably test it at some point :)
One reason Im not looking at larger/heavier wheels than s22 myself is in part because I have had a persistant tennis+golf elbow since 2 years ago, dont fancy lifting/handling bulky/chunky wheels :/
hello! Interesting thoughts! Will you be doing a new review on your v14?
Yes sir! Hopefully next week
@ it’s great! ♥️
Solid tyre options.
So is this commuter performance light wheel without suspension, a preliminary description for your Begode collab wheel? Sounds great!
Link to helmet🙏🏽 it looks 💪🏽
Pretty sure the speeds in the video are illegal on bike paths and sidewalks.
blitz is on my shortlist as a upgrade wheel....
Nikolas Plus, with flat side, with stronger axle.
YES
Bro I have the ET max as long of EUC the falcon which is my pocket rocket with suspension and the exn hs which is a powerhouse performance wheel with speakers and weighs 33kg... Notice how they're all begodes. 😊😊😊😊😊
Begode , do Nikola Pro with smart BMS , and 2400 Wh battery, no suspension needed
12:31 "1500 IKEA Hotdogs"🤣
What about the V11Y? It’s the same price as the Begode Eagle and still pretty light.
Pain to work on, not comfy suspension. Not a fan of that wheel but plenty of people are :)
Hi Adam, cooles Video und cooler Helm. Leider sieht man dein Gesicht nicht.
Was war die längste Strecke die du an einem Tag zurück gelegt hast? Mit schnelles aufladen der 🔋 in den Pausen.
I want a big , heavy Cadillac.
Can you sit on the V14 without the seat? Isn't the seat blocking the tail light?
It's very uncomfortable, almost not doable without the seat. It's designed in a way that the light is still visible. In this video my light was disconnected (error during maintenance)
nice helmet! what is it? also, thanks for all the great content! = )
Caberg Ghost :) you're welcome and thanks for watching!
Is the v12 a good option in 2024 if you don't plan on going on off road tracks? (Wouldn't need a super strong axle)
What helmet are you wearing? Super cool!
Caberg Ghost :)
Yo! That helmet is dope! What is it?
It's a Caberg Ghost :)
@ It looks great! Room for glasses too... thanks for replying 🙏🏻😊
I want an s18 with
Higher voltage
Composit construction
60km top speed
Off-road tire
Water proof
BMS
..what am I forgetting?
Can I get a sub 50lb wheel 25mph top BUT with 50miles of those 50miles 30miles is at 25mph. Also suspension...😅
They actually don't. It's a marketing process inherent to models oversaturating (thanks begode).
Do the IKEA hotdogs come assembled?
Yes but you have to lubricate them with sauce yourself
16x has entered the chat...
Are you gonna push the begode wrong way edition in that direction ? 😏
We'll see ;)
60-70 lbs is the sweetspot for a daily wheel imo
Really? I mean my only wheel is 73lbs so I don't have a good reference but I think if my wheel was like 35-50lbs I'd be much happier
More like 30lbs for an average european city
I got a kingsong S18. It was heavy to me @ first. But then I bought the V13. After that when I try the Kingsong S18, I think it is too light for me(145lb). It make me feel like I being blow away when I catch a strong wind. I think 70-90lb is a comfortable weight and feel more stable.
Yeah. State light weight EUC then complain about the range because of less battery. Think first
do u think that a few kilos less of KS-18L over KS-18XL is a notable advantage?🤔
Yes. That's why I prefer the L. Layout of the batteries is also tidier
Like that helmet what's the make and model?

Commander Mini 50s review ever planned? :)
Probably not :)
@@mr_wrongway Why? :(

40kg is considered lighter?! Lol What?!
I only meant that they implemented stuff to make it lighter than it'd normally be! I should've chosen different words ahha
@mr_wrongway hahaha My msx 84v was like 50lbs (23kg), then rs19 hs 59lbs (27kg) and that was considered heavy long back. Haha The new stuff are insane. XD

Great point! I didn't yet!
@mr_wrongway I want to see a c32 motor RS with 2024 tech in the future. I'm counting on you!!
