I don't know why the big uproar over your play. It's not perfect, but I'd have made the same selections depending on the game 90+% of the time. The individuals who want you to hold 3 to a straight flush while needing to hit a gut shot too clearly either have all the luck in the world, or don't quite understand the term gambling for fun. As you've mentioned before, you can afford to play the way you do, in the end, that's all that really matters.

Thank you for pinning my link Slotmassacre. I really appreciate it. Great video you just released. Massive coin-in. I release a new 34 minute video earlier this evening, and lots more to come. Thank you.
I have a gut feeling when you had the two 9s one of the 9s was a diamond along with 3 other diamonds . The right play is to go for the flush but the 1st card dealt was a 9 .I just have this gut feeling there would have been another 9. It doesn't matter two hands later you hit quad 10s. That's the frustrating part of this game. The what ifs. My luckiest hand was , I had a jack of diamonds and the rest was junk. My next 4 cards were 10, king, queen and ace of diamonds. Giving me a royal. I was down to my last 30 bucks. It paid 4k. I was pretty happy. Good luck. You are fun to watch. I do subscribe.
Hey Andrew, no need to apologize for not providing running commentary at that level. You did great. Strange how it teased you when you were just trying to get over $10k. Thanks for the post.
I agree. When they play nickels, dimes and quarters, they lose me quickly even if they're playing multiple hands. Boring. This keeps the interest on high!
As entertaining as it is to watch someone play at these denominations, I have to wonder if there is a true, long-term VP bankroll backing up this level of play. A 5-royal bankroll for $50 single-line would be $1M, and many pros consider 5 royals a bare minimum, and would recommend having 6 or 7 royals as a long-term bankroll. I started at quarters, moved up to halves, and finally after 5 years moved up to dollars when I had built my bankroll to $32K (8 royals). I've had many downswings of 3 and 4 royal cycles ($12-$16K). A similar downswing at $250/hand would be $600K-$800K. That's getting into pretty elite territory as far as who has that kind of capitalization. Not to mention, the best game I've seen played here is 8/5 Bonus, which has a house edge of 0.83%, so you'd have to be getting at least that much back in free play, cashback, comps, etc just to break even in the long-term. That said, there's always the possibility of a big win in the short-term. :)
I so much enjoy watching you play!! Great win!! I cant wait for Vegas in September for me. I will use your style and strategy!!!! Congrats. You have taught me so much!!!
Small error, but when your presented with A and two other face cards you should take the ace and one of those other faces. If you ignore the ace your losing out on the extremely rare chance you'll catch quads. 4 aces is worth a little over 3x what quad jacks is for instance on this machine.
Great video! I have a question/poll. You get dealt a straight flush. 9-K. Do you take it or ditch the 9 in hopes of an ace of the same suit? This happened to me recently and I kept the straight flush. Still regret not going for it. Maybe I just answered my own question lol
There is no 9/6 machine for Bonus Poker . 8/5 is the best it comes , unless it is a version that pays even money for 2 pair . Albeit the Bonus Poker Deluxe may be the way to go if not wanting to think to hard for the A /2-4s : 4 of kind strategizing . Which is a 9/6 . . . but 1-1 on 2 pair .
There's no denying the clear benefit in getting ten credit payouts on two pair wins when playing nose-bleed high limit. That aside, that's longest half-hour of high-limit VP I've ever watched...
Incredible play virtually error-free on $50 coin. Well done, Andrew. You keep that up and you’re gonna pop a $200,000 Royal Flush or have an incredible run where everything is hitting and you’re up a $100,000 before cashing out. Exciting play at this denomination, the machine was just on a stingy run. Next time it could go on a wild run for sure. Can’t Wait!🙌🏻🙌🏻🍎
Most of these guys stay under the radar...not Slotmassacre! So rare to see vp played at these stakes esp. on UA-cam. Much appreciated and fun to watch. On record you'll likely never see Superdan playing at these stakes. Just sayin lol...taxes alone would kill me. That's kind of my question. Anything you can share about how you handle these wonderful taxable W2G's?
I don't know what high limit ones could do, but I've seen people here on the east coast gather losing bet slips from the racetrack, and also losing Keno tickets from the bars. Some bartenders even save em for certain people. No one can really know if you bet that keno or race, because they don't have a name on em. Get enough of them slips, and you can offset almost anything.
You can write off your losses up to your amount won. Last year with $500,000 in taxables I netted a win of about $60,000. I paid taxes on the $60,000 to federal whereas I also pay a very small percentage no matter what to Utah. Every state is different and if you want to get crazy you can file as a professional gambler and write everything off as well.
I think that if I was playing for $250/hand, I'd be pretty laser-focused on strategy, and have a chart handy. And if I wasn't feeling sharp, I wouldn't be playing that denom!
Lol I know that feeling oh so much. One time, on a $5 VP machine, I was $25 away from $2,000 before I said I would quit for the night and go to bed. Not gonna lie. I pulled a $20 and a $5 out of my pocket, stuck it in the machine, and cashed out the then now $2,000 ticket and called it a night lolol. The VP OCD is a real thing! Good run....those nose bleed stakes are no joke!

Really nice session - though that "roller coaster" can get tiring/frustrating. At 33:14 - You were dealt 6, 7, 9 of Clubs; K Diamond; 2 Hearts; & you held the King. Correct hold should have been the 3 to the Straight Flush.
One of my first trips to a casino, I accidentally held the 5th card on a 4 of a kind and dumped the winning cards. I groaned in frustration. An older, obviously more experienced gentleman next to me, nudged me. He said "Why are you playing so fast? Take your time - the machine isn't going to change its mind." It was good advice. The answer is go for the royal! But if you’re playing a $50 machine, hard to turn down $12,500.

The ONLY time that you don’t hold the 4 to the Royal is when you have a 9-King pat straight flush. That straight flush prevails EVERY time!🍎
