Generally yes. However, they dealt me 3 aces and 2 kickers so how likely do you think it would be for me to get another kicker if I didn't hold one? Not likely in my opinion. I don't like following legalistic strategies where you have to hold certain cards in certain situations. As you saw I paused and thought about it for a second and decided that it was worth the gamble to hold a kicker and it worked out. Sometimes that doesn't work and I miss out on 4 aces, but I like to go for the big hits as that is why I play. I also take into account that I play on machines I know that get a lot of traffic and probably have to pay out. Sometimes the machine wants to pay out because it been taking everyone money all weekend. lol
@@notanotherslotguy the odds were exactly 21.28% chance of you getting another kicker. The additional low card (kicker) being dealt lowered you from 23.40% to 21.28% chance. Leaving that spot open for an Ace is more valuable. If you had left both spots open and a kicker dropped in the first slot, then you only have a 2.13% chance of getting the Ace in the last spot. I'd rather have double the chances of an Ace than that same percentage added to a kicker but it worked out for you! Fantastic hits and luck!

@@Kenna198 Sometimes I just go with my gut and it works out. Many times I wouldn't hold the kicker. Just depends.
Holding the kicker took balls....I would never hold the kicker...I would rather have 2 chances at 1 Ace. But you had good luck.
You know sometimes I do hold it and sometimes I don't. I go by feel sometimes. I will say there is nothing more annoying then not holding the kicker when you get the Ace and you cost yourself 1200 credits. In this hand I was dealt what 2 kickers, so I just felt that I should probably hold one and it worked out.

Thanks. I was on a role on those for a while there. Ya sometimes you don't get the kicker. Recently I hit and I didn't hold the kicker but I would have got it. I hate when that happens.

@13:11 - Holding unsuited K Q instead of suited Q 10 makes no sense. In fact holding any unsuited royals will never make any sense to me. You had the balls to hold a kicker but no balls to go for the royal? For a dollar and a quarter after winning 700+? Come on man.
It is a big difference in hands. Holding 3 aces and a Kicker and you just need 1 card. Holding 2 cards to the royal and needing 3 is a MUCH MUCH tougher hand to get. At that point you just trying to win your credits back. Though I admittedly play both ways sometimes. I get holding 2 cards to the royal I usually do but sometimes when one of them is a 10 I don't do it.

Fake? It is easier to go to a casino and hit 4 aces with the kicker then it is to fake a video. lol. If I was gonna fake something like that I would play at a much higher denomination then a quarter. Not fake. Go the the Santa Fe Station casino in Las Vegas. You can play same machines I do. = )
