Souped-up 300-Series Log Splitter Ep. 2: How Fast Can We Fill an IBC Tote?

- In today's video we took the souped up 300-Series log splitter for another spin, this time with one question in mind: just how fast could we fill an IBC tote with the increased speed and efficiency?
Before heading out to the woodyard, our lead technician Nick swapped out the fittings and hoses because last time we had forced the 1" hose onto a 1.25" fitting which resulted in some tearing in the hose. That wouldn't be a problem this time.
Keep in mind the RS-322 is normally powered by either a 6.5 HP engine with a 13 GPM pump, or a 10 HP engine with a 16 GPM pump, but for this series we are using an oversized engine (420cc, 15 HP) AND an oversized pump (28 GPM, 2-Stage). Lots of power.
Stay tuned for more modifications in this series as we start to tinker with the tank size and some bigger hoses. We know everyone wants their splitter to go faster, and we're going to keep tinkering until we really get the cycle time down.

As a guy who loves to tinker and experiment, I thoroughly enjoy these tests. Could a high output eventually be an option for purchase on one of these in the future?
