It's not a "photo shoot," until the crew/model are running for cover in the trees, from the hail...lol!! Great video Jason
Lol thank you!
Beautiful photos with the rainbow!
can only say WOW! Im sure that some will think the rainbow is photoshopped in .. great catch!
This hail is fantastic
You got thunder a rainbow and nice sun hitting those clouds all in one 🙌👌👍👍
Easy going, encouraging + great work- it's always a pleasure. Great lights.
worth enduring the hail for the rainbow ,,
The model is Gorgeous
Beautiful against the background of the rainbow!
Beautiful model gorgeous landscape...
Love it: "Cesslavye!" Your pictures say it all. Talent.
Awesome rainbow yesss
Stunning model and location. Thank you again.
We have a couple of Aeos’ and 3 Neo2’s we mount on a triple cold shoe. These lights are our ‘go2’ kit for outdoors sessions. We have been so careful not to allow rainfall on these units - until now! Thank you Jason.
Jason....you BOTH crushed it! As per usual, amazing imagery. Another Wow!
Cleaning lenses in the field with Jason Lanier hehehehe
Great to see you're back
Be safe !
You take majestic photographs compadre. It's incredible what you do.
Great job. That's a killer location. Nice model nice assistant, fantastic images. Working well as a team 👍🏿
Simple is indeed beautiful! Tried the Neo at store in Miami and loved it.
Jason, I’ve never seen you bring the camera up to your eye as much as you have in this video 😱 Some kind of epiphany during your travels? Godspeed my friend.
Nice elaborating thank you!
Awesome job again Team👍
If only Mother Nature would have given you some type of warning 🤣. Love your videos! Keep them coming.
Awesome photos....
Awesome shooting, that's why I like you, you get shit done, come rain or come shine! :)
U were my first love as a new photographer!! I wish if you do a series of high end commercial fashion editorials with more drama, philosophy and storytelling. It will be more intimidating for me. God bless you
So glad I got the 2 light AEOS kit. Just need to go out and use it. Also got the 3 light NEO2 kit.
I was interested to see you using the Aeos and the Neo 2 unmodified. You got some great results without using the Illuminator. Thanks Jason, this was a great video.
Love your videos!! They are so inspiring that I have decided to try and incorporate it in my own photography so thank you! not light related but what do you set your white balance at
Cool ;Been to that lake(very recognizable) :)
Do you mind telling me what the name of the lake is? I had been to SD don't recall any lake that looks like this one. TIA
@@hmoobs1 It's in Custer state park...don't remember the name.
Awesome video. Thks
Jason is back. How is life treating you ? If you use the lights with a trigger. What triggers can be used ? And is there a trigger that can work for all brand of cameras ? Or do you have to buy the light and trigger for a specific brand camera ?
If people have an umbrella over them and tuck the pole into the arm pit and use the top as like a hat, it's possible to still use equipment and film in the wet w/o the equipment getting super wet. I've done it in downpours.
We need some locations like that in the uk Jason ........................Awsome video
Em is gorgeous ... great video and such a lucky shoot.
Wow, subjective Canon looks hugely better than Sony! Wonderful job Jason.
Thank You!
Great job Jason. Simple and informative. Always learn something watching your videos. Keep them coming!!
Legend as usual Jason
Awesome video, my second stimulus check need to hurry up and get here. I know where I'm spending it. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
So a question my brother. When is Emily going to host a shoot on her own? I can only imagine the amount of knowledge she has acquired working with you.
The point is: they are great as a team. Kinda symbiosis. Jason, why not take in Emily as partner? You both spreading the good vibes TOGETHER.
When you take a workshop, Emily is providing a LOT of information to the attendee's! You should take one, I did and loved it.
Plot twist. The hail was a paid actor for the durability test.
Did he touch them up in the bushes......????
Emily! So cute your smile, in the rain:)
Not seen you for a while. (I'm an Olympus shooter) Figging awesome images in this video, very nice.
You did say Rain😍🙅😍
sir tell us how to expose according to your editing style as a building block for any portrait nd posing experiments
Expose for the ambient then add artificial light.
I went to double tap a few of those photos!!
Very very good!
#goals
Great work Jason, survived from the rain and gain great photos, love the one with rainbow.
I always enjoy your videos. Thank you so much for your time and energy!
If the Rotolights would work on Godox transmitters I would buy some. There has to be a way!
Hi Jason, What do you think of Rotolight compared to Profoto? I only shoot outdoors in Arizona and need some power, although, I usually shoot in the evening time. I currently use the Profoto B10 in combination with the A1X because I can use it to control my B10 at the same time. What would I use with Rotolight in comparison to what I use now, and would it do as good of job or better? Thanks
Jason never answered my question.
Canon RP wow!!!!
Interesting photo shoot. Nice how you got the rainbow in the shoot as well. Quick question, for something like wedding photography, would the Neo 2 be a better piece of equipment to bring than a speedlight??? Which one would you use???
I'm lucky that You "officially just survived the South Dakota hellstorm" 🤠😅-
and all the other disgusting adversities.
Nice to see you alive, well and lucky. All the best!
Why do you need LEDs when you have the Almighty Lightning to brighten up your subject? Haha, keep on rollin Jason, keep pushing the limits!
🤫
Damn Jason, haven't been able to watch any of your vids in a while. Glad to see you're still killing it! Those were some amazing shots and you got lucky with that rainbow🌈
Stay safe.
Santa Maria Guadalupe dude, as usually you are the best, great pictures Jason, congrats !!!
Hi Jason ... this was a great video. How do you safely transport all your gear, especially if you’re flying? I take my cameras onboard with me.
Those Canon files look very good. And it was the cheap one.
Hi Jason I just recently came across your channel I’m totally happy of what you are doing it def kept me wanting to learn photography you make it super simple I would wish to join your workshops but that’s another talk.... The rotolights for example this Neo 2 and the AEOS I know you use mirrorless cameras but will these products work great with a dslr? I’m saving for the Sony a9 however it won’t be anytime soon for now it’s just a canon 5d mark iv..... 🙄
Hi, seeing as you are new to his channel I would suggest choosing a different photographer to learn from. This guy has a reputation for mistreating his assistants and inappropriately touching his models. Dont take my word for it, there are many videos online proving this.

That other model is strong and agile - love her she is great.... Emily
Nice video Jason, really nice results. Does the Neo 2 have enough power in bright sunlight conditions? I've seen a few of your videos where you're using the Neo 2 in situations where it is either overcast or in darker situations, do you have an example where we've used it in bright sunlight?
You will be extremely disappointed in bright sunlight. It's only handy in low ambient light!
Is that a campground across the lake? Where is this?
Hello sir
I have watched your all videos almost twice.your videos are inspirational. Am not a professional photographer but I like to take portraits & landscapes.i wanna ask you which camera should I purchase. Sony or Canon. I was thinking to purchase Sony a7iii with 55 mm 1.8 zeiss or Sony 24-105 f4 G..please guide me.
Anything matters is you!! As you like portraits and landscape 24-105 will be more experimental and satisfactory
I think I just found the flash that I've been looking for for a long time. That Neo 2 looks simple and elegant with the quality of light it produces. Definitely will be keeping it in mind once I save up enough money to make my next purchase. Aios looks too expensive tho.
Any coupon code?
I ordered the expensive Elinchrome Trigger and wanted to use it today for a shooting. But it did not connect. Now I am trying since hours to find out the problem. I found in the AEOS Manual that there is no receiver built into the AEOS (opposite to what you demonstrate)!!!. This is a hassle. And I dont find any Elinchrome compatible receiver to plug in. So I have to sell the trigger with a money lost I am sure again and buy a cable trigger system.
Try that new Leica they upgraded to I think it's the TL@ anyway, FPS out of this world great camera I just want Laica to send you one to see what you can get from it.
Cest la vy? It’s pronounced Sé la vee. Lol
Ty for the tutorial.
It’s not a Sony ad?
Looks light all the images are edited. Would prefer to see what came from camera otherwise it’s far from real
What happened, you used to get like 500k views.
Look up "jason lanier creep"
Man it’s hard to follow you I simply don’t know what you’re doing! Sony, Canon it’s simple but it’s not because you’re promoting a brand not the art. Just my thoughts! Stay up!
Jason is promoting ART by being creative with anything gear he touches, What is so wrong with that?
How does this guy still have a following? This guy has a reputation for mistreating his assistants and inappropriately touching his models. Dont take my word for it, there are many videos online proving this.
They are just claims , the burden of proof is on the accuser in this case .

Oh my gosh hang out with two hot chicks hell yeah. Bow Chicka bow wow !
She's soaked but smiles and ready to take the posing place if needed. Is hard to find a girl that does what is needed , no breath smile, get wet, dirty , don't be bitchy and more important take care of equipment. Well Emily is all in one :)
