Te escribo para felicitarte por tus buenos tutoriales con las tabs y todo, menudo trabajazo. Llevo poco más de 2 años ahora que empecé comprandome una Strato eléctrica barata y con gente como tú cada día aprendo más y me lo paso genial. El tiempo hace que te vayas soltando y todo se aprende más rápido y sale mejor pero todo gracias a vídeos como los tuyos. El de Going Home lo tengo quemado. Un canal de lo mejor y español. I usually use compressor, speaker simulator, equalizer and reverb although, depending on the song, I can add others.

Thank you very much, Ray! t's a bit difficult to tell you exactly the settings. The amplifier I used to make the recording was a Fender Deluxe with its own valve saturation and some external effects like reverb and compressor. Subsequently, in the final mix, I added an equalizer and a speaker simulator of the program I used (Logic) and doubled the track to give it more breadth. I hope I have been able to help you. To improvise on this, i would start during the thrid part where you do multiple 10th fret notes, i think it's the g major right ? Would you recommend mixing an other scale to get more out of it or is the g major enough ? I want to do my own version. Great video !!
With the G major scale it is enough but it depends on what you want, you can also use G pentatonic or G blues that sound very "in" but if you want less typical sounds and more "out" you can try with G minor pentatonic, G blues or G Dorian although these you will have to use much more carefully.

Yes, I think so, it could be a good option.
Although it is also very important the amplifier you use and get a good mix between overdrive and reverb. I also use compressor and a little (almost nothing) chorus. Greetings!

No, they are not two muted, you´re right, it´s a muted note (you can hardly hear it) and the first string open but, really, this is not very important, the important thing is to connect well the previous lick with the following one.

Jose in the 17th bar the first note what is that note. On my computer it looks a bit strange
It's a flam, a grace note, you have to play on the 5th fret and hammer-on very quickly on the 7th. If you don't play the note at fret 5, the melody is recognized the same but it loses the grace that the ornament gives it.

I see in the tab, first bar, a "slide" symbol and then a "7". Slowing the video down it appears that you are sliding from 6 to 7? Is this correct? I also see this slide notation and just one number several times throughout the tab. Are all of these a half step or one fret slides? (Please forgive if my nomenclature is wrong).
Yes Ray, exactly, you have to do a slide and get to the 7th fret from 6 or 5 or even 4, it does not matter much, the important thing is to get to seven.

What effects do used in This cover? And What effects should i use to Play Europa?
To record I simply used a speaker simulator and reverb and in the final mix I added a compressor, equalizer and a little spread, an effect that enhances the feeling of stereo.
In "Europe" I think that with a speaker simulator (if you use an amplifier it would not be necessary) and enough gain and reverb is enough although the compressor and the equalizer are very important in the final mix to control the signal and the tone.

Mr. Churruca. I am a little confused about what I'm seeing on the tabs, what I'm hearing on the audio and what I'm seeing your left hand doing starting at bar 139. Your left hand does not seem to be doing what I'm hearing in the audio and reading on the tab. Which is correct? Thank you.
Hi Ray! It is possible that I have put some extra note in the tab, I would have to revise it. That part is quite difficult and the important thing is to give the right rhythm by bending the second string on the 15th fret, then you play the first one on the 12th, then bend again the third on the 14th, you come back to the first on the 12th and you start again but focus more on the rhythm than on the notes you play. Thank you. I appreciate your help and patience. Actually, in this area of question, if my hearing is correct what I hear matches what I see in the tabs. What doesn't match the tab or audio is what I see your left hand doing. I thought that maybe this is an alternative way to play it so I tried it but the sound is different. What I suspect is it appears that you taped the audio and video separately.

@@Editingcarrots La válvulas las puedes comprar en Amazon o en cualquier tienda de música pero lo primero es conseguir el ampli a válvulas, no tiene porque ser un Fender Deluxe, hay muchos y más baratos que también van muy bien. Y hay simuladores para grabar que suenan genial. De hecho yo ya hace mucho tiempo que no grabo nada con ampli, conecto la guitarra directa a la tarjeta de sonido y después le añado los efectos. Y, por último, el compresor y la reverb se los añadí así, con plugins que tengo en el programa. Un saludo!

En este tema usé un simulador de altavoz y algo de reverb cuando lo grabé pero después, en la mezcla final, doblé la pista y le añadí un poco de compresor y un ecualizador para realzar algunas frecuencias.

With a lot of effort :-) It is a slightly more difficult bending because you already have the index on and that makes it difficult but it is only a matter of practice.
