The PSU placement instantly caught my eye, and makes absolute perfect sense. That would be a great place to mount a sensor panel. I just realize, I can't use this case with my ASUS Thor PSU. Damn.
I gotta say it, but the aesthetics of the GM case paired with the dark cleanliness of your studio, plus the dash of green RGB lights on your ceiling (music too), made this a very visually pleasing video to watch!
One thing I've noticed with my PC build using RGB and Lian li 216 case is that RGB gets old and cleaning glass is a chore I have no time for. I miss the days where your PC was just a black or silver case that sat on the carpet and you had more desk space for snacks.
I like this case design. It doesn't waste space like most fish tank cases, as it's not as wide due to the PSU being next to the motherboard and not behind it, but it still offers the same functionality unless you really need those two extra case fans at the front where the PSU is located in this case. In most cases, having a triple fan setup on the bottom is great for GPU temps and CPU temps will still be OK with this type of case layout, unless you have a sauna in the place of your CPU like 14900K.
I just saw this thing on Amazon, this color and everything. I have the model 6 and I like it a lot, despite potentially poor thermals. I used it only for a few days as a test bench. The new Model 5 looks awesome! Thanks for the video!
YES!!! My prayers were answered and you guys reviewed this case! I ordered this case last week! I should be getting it in a couple days. I got the mesh front panel. I tried the fish tank NV5. Although it’s very cool it's too much RGB for me and I am happy to go back to an airflow focused case again. Thanks for the review! *Edited to say thanks! Lol
I saw this case a few days ago and instantly fell in love with it. I do like the look of the glass front panel version but the mesh front panel seems to be the better choice. I absolutely love their argb fans too. Im have feelings of regret over buying the Be quiet! Lightbase 600LX recently. Still in the box and everything. Seriously considering selling the Lightbase and getting this case instead 🤔
@@T.Lspitz I’ve been waiting for this case to release since mid August! Lol. Mine should be delivered tomorrow! The big sell for me over the O11 mini I was considering, before I got the NV5, was I don’t need an SFX power supply and it’s a little bit less wide. I like their fans better than my Corsair LL120/140’s, but I got the white case and it would’ve come with white fans. I prefer carefully crafted panda builds over all white builds. Lol
@chuloloco_ thats exactly how i felt about the Be Quiet! Lightbase case ever since i saw it previewed in videos from Computex 2024. Waited months for it to release. Still waiting for the Montech HS01 to become available too. But after discovering this Geometric Future case and learning that they are essentially made by Inwin (as well as realizing how unexpectedly BIG the Lightbase case is), I sorta wish I had waited and got this case instead lol.
@@T.Lspitz just by the M5 bro! You know you want to. Lol. I just realized the PSU max length is 160 mm. My PSU is 165 mm. I’ll be case swapping tomorrow. I think I’ll be fine though….hopefully 😅
a very interesting case, gotta say i like that it looks so different from any other case i have seen so far, very enticing to me ^^ thx for the showcase
Noticed you removed the "display platform" which they claim is functional for directional air flow. I'm curious if it really would lower temps by 1-2 degrees.
I used the model 4 King Arthur for a client build - really glad they improved on the whole assembly and ditched the forty thousand random screws for everything.
That would be cool to see the PSU on the back left instead. That would really stand out and be unique and you could ditch the extention cable. Having a mesh front with a big air cooler also seems dope. Also different color options like a gunmetal gray would be cool for those who don't exactly want lime green 24/7.
i found this case on amazon and love the look, i currently have the o11d evo xl and idk, i just regret spending as much as i did, it just feels like so much wasted space but i gotta ask, do you think theres decent watercooling potential for this case?
Is that side panel fan under the PSU an intake or exhaust? If it's set to exhaust it'd explain why the CPU gets so toasty under load with panels on but not off. It'd negate one of the intake fans, exhausting cool air before it even does anything, and leave you with two intakes to four exhausts. Neat case. I like how they positioned the PSU in the body of the case to minimize footprint. Much as I love my O11 Air Mini it's pretty wide.
That psu mount rules out any psu with a larger style plug where their right angle adapter wouldnt fit. Many of the higher watt ones use that style plug. Kinda looks like a more artsy less well thought out havn 420.
Is the case sturdy with the panels off? These fish tank cases seem like they would flex a ton when picked up like when you take it outside to dust it off.
Hey, Nick. Just coming back to this video to wonder if I can get away with a 180mm PSU, do you think it's possible? I'm about to pull the trigger on this case, but I don't want to get rid of my amazing PSU :S
Just got this case I've always been an antec guy but this is by far the best case ever I got the green one it's perfect for my all green setup for my girl I wish they made a red one for my red setup plus the airflow in this is ridiculous I would recommend installing the two back fans as well it keeps the motherboard nice and chill
I like it, the yellow one gets my vote. Can't find the mesh version for sale anywhere, it seems to only exist on their site, and it doesn't look like they sell from it. (Never mind, I found the tiny button to go to their store.)
create and interesting case; its not dual chamber but its not single chamber either. not comfortable with the cable space within the PSU shroud, feel like i would end up bending a 12VHPWR...otherwise great video as always!
Guys, aren't you tired of building fish-tank looking las-vegas inspired mini-saunas that occupy half of your desk space? How about miniITX open builds for a change ;)
Daaaaaannnng look at that beautiful case ❤ Please someone tell them to send an unit to Mark from "Declassified Systems", our amazing talented Filipino brother will definitely build a masterpiece with that one 🔥🚀 Have a great week ahead Nick and Klaire ❤

poor gpu thermals I'm guessing? Upright gpu orientation with IO ports facing up hurts many gpu's (unlike IO ports down oritenation)

Definitely an interesting and well looking case, the issues with vertical mount are the deal breaker for me... But what nice color combinations
Did Nvidia send their people to infiltrate the design team on this?
Damn, just checked their website, and they have some WICKED looking cases

My favorite song of the ones you’ve made, Brooklyn. Wish they were streaming somewhere so I can have it on repeat

Thanks for highlighting where the power supply is placed, I was wondering!

Gorgeous and quite under-rated

when a radiator is installed in the bottom is it possible to use the vertical GPU mount?

The design prevents the use of two extra fans which probably could have helped with the airflow

Will EK420 rads fit? They are larger than the average 420 rads out there
Pretty slick looking case. What's with the dislike of the fish tank cases? Is it the thermals?
Does it come in different colors?

Bottom fans cool down the GPU & All the Hot Air will go out The Back.

the case is only 1 yr. warranty, so that's out. All major brands in North America are 2 yr. to 3 yr., so good reason this brand is under rated
