    Wonder Oven: our-place.pxf.io/Y94Xer
    These days, our countertops are loaded up with kitchen appliances. Don’t get us wrong-we love our microwaves, toasters and air fryers, but they can certainly become a bit of an eyesore, especially in smaller spaces. So, when we found out about the Wonder Oven by Our Place (the brand behind the viral Always Pan) that does the job of six appliances within an aesthetically pleasing exterior, we had to give it a try. On this episode of Take My Money, Kate tests out each of the modes the 6-in-1 air fryer and toaster oven is capable of (air fry, bake, roast, toast, reheat and broil) to see if it’s really worth the $195 price tag. Stay tuned for her honest review and PureWow rating, including the pros and cons of each mode, then let us know which viral product we should try next in the comments below!

    From reading the instructions, you’re supposed to preheat by turning the oven on for 5 minutes, then put in what you’re cooking. Also, if you’re using the steam infusion, you’re supposed to add the water when the oven is already preheated, not before. The manual also states not to put parchment paper or aluminum foil as it could burn and set your house on fire. Always read instructions first.

      the website says aluminum foil is fine. it's parchment and baking paper they say not to use.

    You’re supposed to preheat it by timing it for 5 minutes. And then once it rings you start baking per the instructions.

    I don't think you're supposed to use metal utensil on the ceramic coated tray as it scratches the coating, but this was a good review!

      It was paining me to see the metal utensil against that tray when she could simply slide them off

      If I didn't know better I'd say you probably do know she shouldn't be using metal utensils on that ceramic pan. Why remotely pretend like you're unsure that's a genuine fact? It's kind of weird. Are you ashamed of knowing how to properly treat your cookware?

    I think the crumb tray goes in the bottom under the heating element.

    Does it do combination cooking, roast with steam. I work in a professional kitchen and I use combi ovens. Just curious.

      That's the general idea of the water pan. You are supposed to be able to get a combi oven effect.

    it makes so much noise. I'm baking at 250 degrees and the noise is so loud. no one mentioned this. very disappointing. I'm thinking about returning it.

    anyone else getting airhead vibes off this review? Preheat your oven, wash (with water and lemon, because I think you'd use dish soap) & season your damn chicken and crumb tray sits under your element.

    there are other products for a quarter of the price that does same thing. they don't look as nice so I guess you're paying $200 for looks and branding.

    Y’all refuse to wash chicken. Just disgusting.

    • @davidd7064
      @davidd7064 3 місяці тому

      Actually, washing the chicken is more dangerous. Washing doesn't remove salmonella, campylobacter and other harmful bacteria, it spreads it around. And if the chicken does have any of the above, it is now in your sink and anything that comes in contact with sink is now also contaminated. Best to prepare the raw chicken last and wash your hands before and after with hot soapy water. After I clean up cutting board, I bleach my sink and microwave the sponge/dish cloth used to clean the cutting board and knife.
      Hopefully it was edited out, but she should have washed her hands after putting the chicken on the tray before touching the buttons. If the raw chicken had any harmful bacteria, she would have contaminated the knobs and then transferred to anything touched after touching the knobs.

      For what, because if it’s for bacteria its useless and potentially more harmful. It doesn’t do anything to bacteria inside meat, and you only spread bacteria from the chicken onto anything it touches when you wash it

    • @Bigheadedwon
      @Bigheadedwon 3 місяці тому +7

      Washing any sort of meat makes no sense. Do you wash pork chops? Steaks? Chicken isn’t meant to be washed.

    • @ladieessence
      @ladieessence 3 місяці тому

      @@Bigheadedwon I wash what I eat. I don’t eat pork chops or steak, but I would still wash them if I did. Meat is dirty. It needs to be cleaned. Y’all don’t want to clean meat, salad greens, veggies etc… Then y’all undercook everything and wonder why yall are getting sick or why so much food is being recalled.

      @liliesinjune4334 2 місяці тому +2

      If anything washing the meat can cause bacteria like salmonella to mix with the water and spread more easily onto all sorts of surfaces in your kitchen. Much less hygienic.
