    I love this! What is the width of the door to the round pen?

      Oh thank you so much!! The width of the entry door i made was to fit my 68” pallet (that I got from used pallets from a solar place )... so 68”👍

    When I move I want to make a pasture with pallets for my horses and cattle, I’ve seen it done before,but what is you’re opinion on it? Now mind you I will have electric wire at the top and bottom of the pallets (not touching the wood) what do you think of the idea?
    Do you have any social media for me to contact and exchange some ideas?

      Oh how awesome! I think it’s a great idea... it would be cool if you find a good spot that has good quality pallets where you move! Even if you have to rearrange the pallets to your liking that is ok as long as it’s solid wood👍... and you can check out the vid I made of how I make my support brackets for the round pen which you could do for the fence as well! Yes I do... it would be great to see more ideas! you can check out unitedranch on Instagram👍

    so cool and cheap!! how tall is your fence? it looks like you got more of a rectangle size pallet than the normal square ones i've seen.

      Thank you! Yes it’s a blessing and a big money saver for sure!! The pallets I used for the main round pen were 48”x40” so yes not a perfect square... if you need more height or a visual deterent for your animals you’re training I’ve thought of making like one foot extenders on top of the pallets with disassembled pallet wood.... I haven’t needed to tho as of yet👍

    Love your energy and simple explanation. Pen looks rustic yet sturdy. A great option to panels or post and rail. Did you have gapping as you came around in the circle. How did you connect the panels to keep it seamless? Great job!

      Oh thank you so much!! Yes I love the free option 😂... and it has worked out so well!! Yes I believe in the first video I show pics of the certain screws I use to connect the panels and support brackets... the lifetime warranty deckmate 6 star screws... I love them! And as I was installing them if the floor was not level or if the pallets did not meet together flush I just used pieces of wood or dirt to fill in to make it higher or dig out the dirt to make it lower so the pallets would screw in flush next to one another. I hope it helps! Thanx again!

    How many pallets did you use in total?

    • @UnitedRanch
      @UnitedRanch  3 роки тому +1

      I used 43 1/2 pallets not including the door and chute. If I didn’t have a chute and just connected a pallet at that opening it would make it around 44 1/2 pallets not including the door. I hope that helps!!
