Hello! I have Complete Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome. I found out when I was 14 years old and I'm 25 now. It has been hard to share with others and I am grateful that someone close to my age is being so vocal. Thank you!
Dear Imy! I think you are so sweetest lovable person out there! I love your positivity and you deserve only the best! I hope this "new guy" evolves in a nice and long-lasting relationship...! Also, I think it's so brave and admirable how open you are about your condition (should Ieven call it a "condition"?). I'm convinced that this will be a huge support and consolation to other AIS youngsters out there. Take care, sweetie !!! Jotje
Hi Imy! Ok, I'm a huge fan of all of your videos, especially your Filofax ones....Anyway....can I just tell you, you have the most amazing complexion and glowing skin! What skin care line or beauty products do you use?
Superb video! I can so relate to the experience of people saying totally vile things about you. Really just fucking absurdity. At any rate, it sounds like you're doing great, which is great to hear. Always count on our support.
If I am completly honest, I DO NOT HAVE ONE!!!! I use Mac Studio Sculpt Foundation and Prep and Prime Primer from Mac too, but never moisterise etc (i am really bad for it) dont really clean my face other than with a make up wipe (I hate water on my face) I am an odd one! x
i want you thank you for this video and your other videos about AIS. i too have AIS and have known since i was 16..im 26 now.. im planning on doing a video, just dont know how to get the courage to do so..i would love to know if any groups you attend or know of with women with our condition?.. i love your accent by the way..:)
Hi Imy, I enjoyed this video about being a woman and, yet, being perceived as an outsider. Knowledge changes the way people see us. Unfortunately, once changed by something so minor as being an XY woman, you are never be seen the same. May I offer this: Perhaps your genetic condition is too difficult for a man to comprehend, and as such, may require simply saying that you can't have children.. Your medical condition is your business only. Your posts help me so many ways. Thanks. ~Angelae
Imy it might help some if you clarified for others a little that your XY with an oops. Oopsies are common enough ya know and being female and all with a oopsiedY is I imagine a little easier to explain then actually having a Y. For those too smart people an oopsied Y leads to a girl. Sometimes it really does get complicated. Not all boys are XY and not all girls are XX. Take care your awesome too bad I'm not 25. I am feeling a little bummed at the moment.
