To be fair, Loudwire's was the only one that was challenging not to headbang to. The others are just full of metalcore, that doesn't even muster a foot tap.
Yeah it's weird how many of these challenges feature metalcore bands I've never heard of playing arrhythmic breakdowns. I've seen a couple where I literally didn't have to try, the breakdowns were just that bad.
Metallica, Pantera, Slayer, Judas Priest, Exodus, Gojira and Korn are not metalcore at all. That's way over half of the artists in this video

yup definitely. "Walk" is the shit. There was one video that started with Symphony of Destruction and I did amazingly until it ended with Walk. Too difficult to not move.

Funny how Kirk founded the band, but he wasn't on a single album and Gary's been the only member to be on all of them.

@@Lurts that is simply not true he had a very punk playing style and additude meanwhile Cliff played a loud distorted lead tone with alot of dexterity and skill he made Metallica the band they were meanwhile Jason was a super fan and he didn't really have alot fo variation he mostly played what name played dont get me wronf I love Jason newsted he's a total badass, not to mention the only way to listen to and Justice is the and Jason for all version with the bass but he simply wasn't as metal as Cliff wnd he mostly played slightly dumbed down versions of cliffs riffs and basslines

2 things in this video: when you got angry that Loudwire chose For Whom The Bells Toll is like every Metallica fan ever. And you can't lie, Blind by Korn is probably one of the hardest songs not to headbang to in the challenge (just in my opinion, and I also lost the challenge to that song as well) I also checked out some of your other videos and they were pretty damn awesome. Now this is genuine
I'm a big fan of the classic metal stuff (Priest, Maiden, Dio, etc.) and power metal (Blind Guardian, Lost Horizon, Dream Evil, etc.), but the stuff that gets me to (involuntarily) headbang the most is stuff like Pantera and Korn. Like, I *could* headbang to some of the Cannibal Corpse stuff, or Napalm Death, The Faceless, Meshuggah, etc., but that would be more like "I like this song, so I'm going to choose to go crazy to it." Pantera and Korn (especially the examples that Loudwire picked) create such a deep pocket with the bass and drum grooves, like those you would hear in a Stevie Wonder or Fleetwood Mac song, and then they turn the distortion up to 11. I find myself involuntarily head-bopping to it, and then that bop gets slowly more and more aggressive.
Another example is that I could *choose* to headbang at the end of Metallica's "One" because it's heavy and I love the song in general, but I am almost defenseless when the verse of "Sad But True" starts, because that groove is just wicked, even though I like the song less and it isn't nearly as heavy as "Darkness, Imprisoning me..." section of "One". For me, heavy is only part of the headbanging equation, especially when you're not choosing to do it, and groove makes a big difference there, at least to me.
A headbang challenge without "Walk" is not a headbang challenge for me. That shit is difficult as hell.
Plus it'd be awesome if you made one cause I have passed every single one of'em that i've watched except for the one where the dude put "Walk" at the very end.. Silvera or Stranded from new Gojira album "Magma" are the shit for me (at least) and please include "Walk"..
Walk is weak for me, The riffs for CFH and Cemetery Gates or even Slaughtered would be a challenge.
