Honestly if you want to get the Tritton vs Ono match, you could ask Tritton himself. He’s a super nice guy and a very skilled judoka so if you reach out and talk you might get it
Always curious how back then the camera knew to focus on Ono or any other legends, like how did they know if he'll be an eventual Olympic and world champion and not the kid next to him or the captain...etc
Nice video, but I have a question. Do judoka in Japan have the traditional belt system like white, yellow, orange etc... or is it different? Also how can a match end in a draw?
He and Abe Hifumi have been inspirations to me over the past few years.
Awesome video, inspiring to see how he built his judo
we need more videos like this one! great job!
Very well done ! I like your video about the O.S. as the king of 73Kg. Cheers ...
Legendary video. Thank you!
First…. Your videos are always great, keep it up
Cheers!
I love this new video format
It would be nice to have the same series with hifumi or takato
This "Legends" series is for retired athletes only. But I could do a young years video for those two.
I'd love to see some young Nagase clips!
Way of growing up a champ ...
incredible😍😍

Great video! Thank you very much.
Very exciting
Nice serie. I'd like to see an episode about an Italian judoka
Great to see Koga schooling the young Ono here.
Could you please make a video about Judoka as kids like Riner or Maruyama? Would be interesting for me
Nice video… can you do one for joshiro marayuma
Good idea!
Yes!
Nice video
It’s funny that he was so into newaza then, as he has actually said he doesn’t like newaza at all 😂
That Koga seoi tho..

Friend’s camera, May not be the competition’s
Nice video, but I have a question. Do judoka in Japan have the traditional belt system like white, yellow, orange etc... or is it different? Also how can a match end in a draw?
I would say japanese judoka have the most traditional belt system, with kyu grades being all white and dan grades being black.
I've never actually met someone who is 1kyu, 2kyu, etc. Everyone is either a white or black belt.
btw, that kyu system is a money grab btw. Don't let it fool you.
Actually I lied, lots of kids at my son’s dojo have colored belts. It’s reserved for elementary kids and below.
How long does it take to get to the black belt?
