When I first hear the term used I was like “what the hell does that mean” and then started to googling immediately 😂 but in all seriousness it’s brilliant and if you make great cuts and burnish after you don’t need to use sandpaper 👍🏻 thanks for the comment!
Nice! Great video, and I have some constructive criticism. People will watch this and get inspired; you need to inspire them to work safely. You are clearly an expert, but showing how to work safely is important. (Made me nervous around the mouth bit, and if it were me I'd press too hard and cut my thumb off.) Also constructively, i think there's a way to change the camera settings to not see flickering lights. Lovely outcome on the project and agreed, the sanding was very satisfying. Cheers!
I was just going to carve an eye, but didn’t think it would stand out as much. I was thinking a nice stone/pebble but then would have to glue it, so decided on the nail. Thanks for the comment 👍🏻
I had no idea that burnishing with a rock could make such a difference to a piece like this. wow. That is super freaking cool.

Thanks for the in-depth feedback, I’ll take it onboard! Glad you enjoyed the video, what would you like me to try and carve next?

Great suggestion thanks 🙄
is there an alternative for nail as an eye?
