Big bait big fish strikes again. We always at least try skinny water year round. Turns the majority of our fifty plus fish come out of ten feet or less anytime of the year. And when the water temps up d.d. water is where all of our biggens come from. Great vid and keep your powder dry and your pantry stocked young man 💪😎🙏
It is funny how it all works out. All 3 fish over 80 lbs this year came out of less than 5 feet of water, although it was at night. They ate pretty good sized baits too. Thanks for all the kind words sir. Hope you do the same.

Dang Spencer. You just catch big fish anywhere, anytime you want. I am so jealous. I have given up on catfishing till March. Tomorrow I am doing your favorite. Bass fishing and I hope to catch some big ones. If I catch one or two over 7 pounds I will be happy. Last trip I managed 6 nice ones which equals 1 of your fish, maybe. Thanks for the video man.
You came to within one state away from catching the big stripers. Tenn and georgia have monsters and you are already set up for them. I know there are striped bass west of us but we have consistant 30 pounders and occasional 50 pounders. All the while when you are fishing for them you are also running the chance of a 50 pound flathead. Aint our country great!

My biggest blue came from a creek probably 20 feet wide max somewhere around spring time, I tell this story a lot cuz I’m proud of the fish haha 60+ pounds out of somewhere you’d NEVER expect seriously. It’s the fish on my profile pic, the head was HUGE. Anyways another great video brotha

Man, two pigs in a shallow creek. The must eat real well back in there. That creek feed into a larger river or reservoir/lake? I bet Skip was sneaking some old skipjack chunks that fell behind the cutting board lol.
There was plenty of shad up there. They've definitely been eating well. Skip 100% steals bait chunks off the board when I'm not looking haha

Bait goes back into the flooded areas, the rest follow. Biggest blue I ever seen, part of landing, was in a Chariton River slough. Followed the bait and got stranded when the water went down, 3/4 mile from the normal flow.
Skip is more involved with seeing what's going on than Woody was. He sure sneaks stuff off the cutting board cooler.
It's crazy how shallow a big blue will go in the middle of the day even. Skip is a lot more high strung than the ol wood man.

Any tips for decreasing the amount of Flathead Catfish that pop off with live bluegills? I like catching! Glad I get to watch your videos. I might not be able to afford to go fishing this year. My favorite spots are about 45 minutes away.
I've been using the HTT Mad Catter hooks with a pretty good hook up rate this year. Hope that helps!

The alijoz reel when letting line out does the line guide stay stationary or does it go back and forth following the line where it’s coming off spool so it comes off reel easier

Curious if you thought those Ripping Lips rods would be too stiff for central Iowa (DSM and Raccoon rivers). 3/4 of the time I'm just after channels rather than flathead, but I'd rather just have one setup.
The HD Light actions would be solid for a do it all catfish rig. The MHs are a little to stout for channels in my opinion.

Glad ya dig the videos man. It's a seaark protege. The price varies a lot based on motor and other add ons. Your best bet is to look up a seaark dealership and give them a call or head in and ask them what they recommend for ya. Hope that helps man.
