Pulls out clarinet
“Ah yes we’ve got some more useless packing material.”
Soyo Kiam Actually I believe that's a basoon.
That’s a clarinet. I take exception to the term useless however. There’s always something that can be done with a clarinet. Reminds me of the old joke... What’s the difference between an oboe and an English horn? The English horn burns about 30 minutes longer....
Soyo Kiam lol cause he mostly plays brass then woodwind
NegativeZeroIQ no...
I was fortunate enuff to have played the clarinet in the Rose Bowl Parade on 1/1/1987 in Pasadena, CA.. Our H.S. band was 1 of the few chosen to participate, out of MANY applicants.. it was quite an honor
It was on this day that Trent Hamilton discovered the lucrative business of drug and gun running.
Are you the master chef?
that one dislike is from a woodwind player...
so true
Tyguy80s
Not this one either
i'm a woodwind player
I clearly need to order from Australia for delux packaging when I purchase my instruments.
Is anyone else conceded about the bag of white powder or the knives?!
Cocaine?
No
Yes, I am. Concerned, even.
I'm guessing it is that stuff that absorbs moisture that they put into almost everything, but I'm surprised Trent didn't make some kind of joke about it like he did with the clarinet and the knives.
"baking powder"
Hey Trent! I thought it was so hilarious when you took out the clarinet and set it off to the side saying "More worthless packing material." Ha Ha Ha! If you don't want it, I will take it! XD
Remix Ruxpin I'm sure it has already met it's cozy place in the trash
Sqiddy where it belongs
As a woodwind player that tuba is incredibly beautiful.
Nice "wall of brilliance" XD I have one myself, but it's shotguns and rifles.
That was some weird stuff they put in with your tuba. I barfed in my mouth when I saw the clarinet.
So we're just gonna overlook the bag of coke? Yea? ok
I wish I had so many instruments just hanging on their wall lol
2:10 I'm pretty sure a little part of my soul came out from laughing
Only Ausies would throw in a set of knives with a tuba.
You do know Trent is a Kiwi. From New Zealand
Stephen Budders and half a kilo of cocaine to boot!
I tell all my musical friends about your channel. Great info and great humor.
I’m pretty sure this entire video only had a purpose of making that clarinet roast!😂
I want to see (tons) more videos of this tuba! I also recently picked up a very similar one. Made by Boosey & Hawkes and sold/branded as a Besson. I don't think mine is a solbron, but its got the same exact body, bracing, and compensating valves. Only difference I can see is that mine is in brass laquor and has the detachable 24in recording bell!
I'd love to see what you can find out on the production history of this sweet horn!
Love the wall of many things
I can't wait to hear this thing in an upcoming video!
"ok here, I have a small box with a Tuba in it" *takes up half of the room
Trent: oh that's a bit smaller than I thought it was
😂😂
Wow, that patina is beautiful. I'd kill to have a tuba like that.
That looks like quite a rare instrument and it's definitely been converted from high pitch. Moving slides and valves are quite the luxury on instrument this age, I can't wait to hear it and hear your thoughts on it (particularly compared to the Besson 994 monster you were struggling with a year or so ago)
Judging by the patina and various colours I'd say that thing has been in a fire of some sort!
Love the new background
A prime candidate for demonstrating the powers of a bicarb dip to get rid of the tarnish!
What a huge box
Whoever sent the tuba really knows his packing
I love these kinds of videos
Really enjoy your unboxing videos, it's always so entertaining the way you make hilarious jokes about the instruments that you receive, and also, HEY!!! I PLAY CLARINET!!! THEY AREN'T WORTHLESS!!! XD
Trent is now an unboxing channel.
It's the first tuba I've seen with an end pin. I am familiar with the rings for clipping on a shoulder strap for marching. My back hurts just thinking about it.
Now THAT's a knife!
Saw your comment on a fail video and you got a new sub mang...thats how you do it good job spreading the brand....Ive been drumming for 17yrs so Im always down for some music conversation. Dont let me down with your smooth Aussie accent ;) ya bogan
What was that white powdery substance inside the clear plasic bag? Lol
Cornflour.
"Cornflour"
It was just some worthless packing material lol
I thought it was a used diaper !?
Cocaine ;)
Leni loud: thank you so much William thank you for being the best man and friend of my life 😍
Can we all agree the tubas the best instrument 😅
theo smith Yes indeed much better than the "contrabass piccolo" packing material.
NegativeZeroIQ PLEASE tell me that no one has such an idea to create a contrabass piccolo
Soci ety I do
Soci ety that would be great
B U T T H A T S A N O X Y M O R O N
I am a woodwind player, but I laughed at the fact that you didn’t even notice the clarinet, or should I say, “bassoon”.
That's a nice box
Wooaahhh! sick knife, brah!
You crack me up trent !!!
Bet that tuba is polished brass. I have a trombone that was similar to that.
Cool!
Trent, I forgot. I know I hated the clarinets too, that's why I gave the clarinets those extreme patterns that are inaudible in Daphnis et Chole, but didn't I write a decent horn part or brass in general?
You should do a video that compares all your odd instruments
my high school band in 72 had a tuba that had been in the band program since the 1890s it was banged up badly . a 80 yr old man came and said he played it in band when he was a student he paid to have it restored and it played good as new. this was the time F E Olds had made fiberglass sousaphones but the old brass tuba had duch a rich tone it put the newer horns to shame.. now to do a review of you playing it
Hey Trent, I got the same tuba over there! They play very well and the intonation is very good. I also saw a alto trumpet in the video, right?
Can you do an arrangement of every instrument on your wall!
Lovely packing material, I'm sure the airport security enjoyed these items :PPPP
Why did they send a *clarinet* with it?
Quality.
I need some advice. I’ve been playing tuba for a year and a half and have been hiring one from my school. I’m looking into buying a tuba but not sure the best options for a beginner tuba. Does anyone have any suggestions?
what was that white powder in that bag
Do you have advice for buying a tuba? I’m not sure what a reasonable price for a working used tuba would be.
@trent if you want to get rid of that clarinet ill take it
Why did it come in a cardboard box with a clarinet and no case? Does it even play well?
TUBA!
....you just pulled out a whole clarinet
Hey Trent. I was wondering. What mouthpiece do you play on for trombone
That depends on what part I'm playing. It's either a Denis Wick 6 (either a 6BY or 6BL, I can't remember which), and for bass trombone I normally use either a 0AL or 2AL.
That's a big box.
Kylo Ren It is. Why do you ask?
Hey, wasn't that a clarinet you just pulled out of the box?
Can i have the clarinet?
And the knifes?
Why would a clarinet be put in the same box as a tuba?
I loved when he pulled the "basoon" out of the box and called it some useless packing material.
I thought it was a flute? Bah, like it matters. As he said, useless packing material.
Hi There Basically the same both useless except for well, packing material.
Even then, they don't make for very good packing material, I've found.
nice
Did an associate of the guy come to collect that small packet of 'packaging material'?
You should check out the chasons music trombone to trumpet hybrid mouthpiece, I'd really like to see a honest review on it,
I just bought one and I'm waiting for it to arrive
Austen Garcia I'd appreciate if you could tell me how it is once it arrive.
i own one, you cant play really high with the mouthpiece but you can at least play a medium range on the trumpet. It's also very shallow.
Kerry cam did you order the small medium or large version
Medium version
A random clarinet 😂
Please review an ophicliede
Is it worth buying a 289.99 US dollar baritone off of Amazon?
I like this background of instruments better
Did you know that in Australia’s constitution, it refers to New Zealand as a state. I found that interesting 😂😂😂
wwemario12345
Before federation occurred, New Zealand was more likely to join than Western Australia. Transport wise, NZ was closer than WA to NSW & Vic. The WA delegation missed one conference by WEEKS because their ocean voyage was too slow!
Only the huge influx of gold miners in the 1890s (many from Victoria, including my great-grandfather's family) and the promise of a trans-Australian railway got the vote in WA for federation over the line. (And some in WA have regretted it ever since, as the 'ther-siders (mainly in Sydney and Melbourne) seem to forget where the export income comes from!)
I'm not sure why NZ opted out, but there is a special relationship between our two countries! Perhaps that is why there are so many Kiwis here in Australia!
How did two knives make it passed the airport?
Nicholas' Trombone They got scared by the clarient and didnt search the rest.
Makes enough sense to me
He put them in their as a joke
whoooooosh
Nicholas' Trombone cornflower is yellow
I HAVE THAT IN MY SCHOOL :O
Lol he called the clarinet padding material
Could have been worse; he might have called it a toddler's didgeridoo . . .
Mate, I’m Australian.
2:12 that's a clarinet
Ayyyyyy
*uses clarinet as packaging material**
High Pitch was A=452 :)
It varied, depending on country and era.
Hi
More packing material pulls out blades
Hello
Fragile must be Italian. :)
Man, I love your videos. I am from North America and would love to have a shoutout
LANA!!
Can we hear the sound after you’re done sniffin’ your packin’ material ?!?
He plays much faster!
Were the knifes, clarinet and bag of cocaine actually pack material?
Silica gel crystals - not coke.
Can i have the clairnet i play bass clairnet soooo please
Make more 3d mouthpieces
New Zeland’s “small” cousin
Now let us wait for "FIRST" comments!
EDIT: My cat just took my chicken.
But really why were two very interesting knives in there?? Very worried!
Why are you worried? Do you think Trent's going to run amok with them in the local shopping centre?
@@jackx4311 I think I was being silly when I wrote this comment!
I guess packing "now THAT'S a" knives, clarinets and questionable bags of white powder along with the primary delivery item is just considered good manners in Australia.
more uesless packing materials
If you don't like woodwinds than why do you have so many woodwind instruments
I'll take the clarinet if you don't want it
Ps I'm not that one guy who disliked
Pps I like brass AND woodwind
3:25 is that cocaine
What is his actual job? Does it have anything to do with music?
No. I'm a Solutions Architect in the telecommunications world.
Trent Hamilton that’s awesome!!!
Perfect for your new Low Brass Musical Group - The Contraband -
Playing tests or it didn't happen
Wait wait wait. YOUR NOT GOING TO PLAY IT!!! RIPOFF!!!!!!!!!!!?,??!!!!
