Now that's how you do a battle report! Great work on this edit man, such a fun series to be a part of and an absolute honor to be officially Cannon in the Crafterverse 🙌
Loved the "cheater" flash frame at the point of Theo's victory😂. Affected me more than the naked dudes in the bubbles in eighties Schweppes adverts. Keep up the good work, Bill and Theo
I've really enjoyed this series! Great seeing the creating of the game pieces all the way to the actual playing of the game. Great work Bill, you should be really proud of these videos, and deeply ashamed that Theo thrashed you like that. ❤️
Wow, seeing a battle report by a gamer artist, rather than “just a gamer” is insane. Literal stop motion animation and hand-drawn smoke and explosions? This absolutely needs to be seen by more people. Oh, and I also have to add, no, this isn’t what I want you to solely focus on. I celebrate the fact that you’ve been able to make such a wildly awesome channel without pigeonholing yourself into one specific niche. Variety is the spice of life, and your channel has variety. (Amongst other great things like great humor, awesome editing style, amazing artistic skill, etc.) Keep making stuff, Bill. ❤
I love the little animations between turns and the voice over banter! Much better production than 95% of the battle reports that I see on you tube. Congratulations! I hope it was as enjoyable to make as it is to watch.
Hi Bill. I really enjoyed this episode. The last couple months you and Crafsman have reignited something in my that has laid dormant since my golden era of 9-12 years old where I was at my most creative and interesting. I am finally remembering all the cool stuff I like doing and making. I made a Tonk out of sculpey and painted it even though I have never used sculpey before and it looks crap and the oven was too hot so it burned the polymer clay, but I still did it and I'm really proud of it. Now the challenge is convincing my missus to play with my little tonks with me. And also try this boardgame.
YOWIE WOWIE! 100% certified dope as all get out. The banter. The animation. THE ART STYLE. Did everyone else see this? Wake you grandad up tell him he’s got a video to watch. He can put his teeth in later. This was absolutely outlandish. Bravo on a non stop thrill ride!
Theo's tonk was super cool! Your animated battle report was great, I hope to see some Stargrave or Gaslands from you too. Well, provided you can do it without always spending days on animation. I wonder how you managed to record the banter so well too. It felt natural even though it didn't sound like you were in the same room recording as you played.
Great collaboration guys, really enjoyed this one! I can confirm Theo leaves a can of energy drink and a Unit 11 DVD everywhere he visits, which is great... because I really enjoyed the ... energy drink.
I honestly didn't think I'd care about this episode when you announced it. I'm here for the crafts, but the animation really added a lot of interest. Makes me want to make and play tonks. Really great video. Your banter with Theo was good too
Yes! I was hoping you would included the full stop motion at the end! This was great! Simple game, easy to follow, minimal supplies needed and building your tonk completely up to you. I think it would be interesting to have more than two people play at once or be controlling multiple tonks on your team. With a big enough map, you could even add power ups or 1ups on the field.
I loved this! So nice to see you communicate with someone other than Cat, I was getting a little nervous about you. So nice of you to let him win too, being the host that's just polite (You're good)!
You know you want to make more of these videos. I wouldn't mind seeing more of your crustard world tied into this as well! All of your creations are super cool!
Been following your Tonks episodes for a while, I am currently making my own set and my friend is also making a Tonk. Lots of fun! Thank you for all your hard work!
Another fantastic episode - not just a battle report, but awesomely animated, too! We're so lucky to have you Bill. And to top it off, Theo hoped you would feel the burn from being rammed in episode...Erm, seventy. Brilliant.
Thanks bill i really enjoyed this episode of tonks and seeing you battle it out with Theo was great 👍🏻 it’s inspired me to build my own tonk so we will see how we go, great job 😎👌🏻
Found your channel 3 days ago, thanks for keeping me entertained while I'm off work sick. Love the style and getting really inspired to actually make my own crusty rusty factory planet terrain as well as the horrible skull-tree terrain I have planned!
I'm impressed. I wasn't expecting this to be so coherent and engaging. I think I'll be pitching this to a couple of people. Might need to make a friend. Also i would watch these videos religiously, especially if they have those little visual aid edits. Thanks for the video dude.
I'm currently working on building a game setup for TONKS! Thanks to your inspiration, sir. Please keep your style of creating, so I can further enjoy your marvellous content 🧐👌
Absolutely a blast to watch! My fiance actually just got into TONKS because we watched this series on your channel, and seeing the whole process, from concept to complete (super cool) models to terrain was super inspiring. The Battle Report was a lovely cherry on top! By all means, if you feel up to making more Battle Reports, my fiance & I will eat them up! Thank you for brightening our nights, Bill! And thanks to @Slimehousetv as well! Very entertaining & love your Tonk!
Definitely one of the best battle reports I've watched. The animation really brings it to life. It always sucks to watch a battle report where it's just a bunch of middle-aged nerds moving their toys around and talking about it with no visuals
Love seeing Bill report on playing a battle as it happened... turn by turn... talking us through it... Think we need more Bill reports on playing a battle as it happened... turn by turn... talking us through it... maybe... with or without the stop gap, moving animation thing. Or whatever.
This is exactly what I wanted. Loved seeing the game, and all your hard work in action. The animations, sound effects, everything - were so cool. Its like the visuals are 'in universe' with your music and models.
I would suggest this title of the series “Cat judging Bill for talking to people who are watching Bill play games without themselves talking because they are busy wondering why is cat so judgmental”
I discovered this channel with the first Tonks video, and I really enjoy everything about how you edit and present your builds. The battle report and animation was really fun too! Now I want to try making a couple tonks so I can play. Between the scrap-built tanks and the simple game rules, this looks like everything I enjoyed about Warhammer 40k without all the nonsense.
I enjoyed this, my favorite part is that you took the time to re animate the entire game. I know that had to take some time and it definitely paid off. Another great video. Nice work billy boy
Glorious and entertaining BatRep, yes, thank you Bill. More of these in the future please. I have been inspired to further investigate Tonks via this series of videos, thank you.
I got such a kick out of this! I knew I was going to enjoy it, but seeing the animation, getting a feel for the game, and seeing just how accessible it is for newcomers has really won me over. Yep, I think I like Tonks now. Thanks again for another fun one, and I'm looking forward to the next one!
This was great! Your style does so well with this game, and the use of stop motion and your animated effects was basically perfect for the Bill-Plays-A-Game portion! Hmm...Bill-Plays-A-Game. BPAG. It's a bit clunky, but maybe that's what you could call these type of gameplay reporting type videos!
Amazing video as always bill Would love to see more battle reports in the future Unfortunately Halloween does go against my religion but still can't wait to see what you come up with
I can imagine the work this animation gave you, Bill. Sleepless nights, endless editing, lots of crying and sweating (if it's not cold, of course!). I didn't know how to play it. I learned one more! But anyway...an amazing job! 🕵 I take off my hat... Cheers
Brilliant! First ever battle report I've watched and I was not disappointed. Anything else will now pale in comparison. I've never been into wargaming, but I feel a need to build some Tonks now.

I would love to see more of these, especially with the Stargrave crews you've been building! The animations were superb.
Yeah I was gonna say a Stargrave one of these would be great.
Play Stargrave against your cat so we cant hear all the trash talk towards our favorite crafter.
Bill really outdid himself on this one. He didn't have to stop motion animate the whole battle but he did. So cool
You should also create a Cat tonk. Cat may have felt a little left out in this new endeavor. Really liked the video!
Now that's how you do a battle report!
Great work on this edit man, such a fun series to be a part of and an absolute honor to be officially Cannon in the Crafterverse 🙌
the motivation this gives me to scratchbuild tiny little tonks at the rate of a bloody mass production factory
the little skittering sound that theo’s tonk makes is very very good
delightful video
Bill. This is the best battle report format I've ever seen. Please make more. Now I need to go make tonks.
Loved the "cheater" flash frame at the point of Theo's victory😂. Affected me more than the naked dudes in the bubbles in eighties Schweppes adverts. Keep up the good work, Bill and Theo

Keep making stuff, Bill. ❤
Definitely deserves a rematch with Theo and your other Tonk! These are great!
So much fun! The cinematography and editing were fantastic! Thank you bill can’t wait for the next Tonk fight!
I love the little animations between turns and the voice over banter! Much better production than 95% of the battle reports that I see on you tube. Congratulations! I hope it was as enjoyable to make as it is to watch.

1:43 The word you’re grasping for is obviously “War correspondence”

İ never thought İ'd see an interesting battle report! Good job!

Wowowowow let's leave the personal attacks out of this one 😅
Tonks for the battle report, I particularly enjoyed the stop-motion and animated hits.
that was amazing. love the animations, it really adds a lot to the video.
Best battle report I've ever watched. The stop motion was amazing. Maybe a Stargrave report with your crews?
Now we just need a four person Tonks battle.
The day just got better.
I normally find battle reports boring but this was CINEMA would love to see more
Thank you! That was so much fun and seeing all your work in action is so inspiring!
I honestly didn't think I'd care about this episode when you announced it. I'm here for the crafts, but the animation really added a lot of interest. Makes me want to make and play tonks. Really great video. Your banter with Theo was good too
Hi Bill thanks for your awesome builds
These small scale battles seem perfect for your style of animations! I loved this series of tonk videos and feel very inspired to build and play!
Yes! I was hoping you would included the full stop motion at the end! This was great! Simple game, easy to follow, minimal supplies needed and building your tonk completely up to you. Thanks for the introduction to TONKS! Perfect mix of crafting and gaming which I love!
welcome
I loved this! So nice to see you communicate with someone other than Cat, I was getting a little nervous about you. So nice of you to let him win too, being the host that's just polite (You're good)!
☺️
Thanks for the fun. You both did great jobs on your tanks.
TONKS!
I loved the stop start motion and the commentary was a riot. I'd like to see the same thing with your robots and monsters.
You know you want to make more of these videos. I wouldn't mind seeing more of your crustard world tied into this as well! All of your creations are super cool!
Been following your Tonks episodes for a while, I am currently making my own set and my friend is also making a Tonk. Lots of fun! Thank you for all your hard work!
literally making designs for my own tonks rn
Really enjoyed the Tonk making and the battle report. Awsome work!
Well that was fun. Good job Bill and Theo. Thanks for sharing me and getting me into scratch building tonks and silly robots.
This was by far the best batrep I’ve ever seen. The only one I’ve never had to fast forward through the boring parts too, because there weren’t any.
This is completely an aside, but when Theo speaks, I can't help but be reminded of Cuno from Disco Elysium.
Been loving the Tonks videos. I’ve never seen anything like this before. Really enjoyed my time, thanks Bill!!
Thanks for a fun video, really enjoyed the collab between two of my favorite UA-camrs. Inspired me to make my own Tonk
Fantastic video! Great job! Love to see a Tonk army vs Tonk army in the future!
Best report of a battle I’ve ever seen, loved it! Has inspired me to create my own Tonks and have a go!
Awesome. I love the stop-motion, specifically the drawn hits/smoke.
How have I never seen your channel until now? Your videos are a genuine joy to watch.
Do a 4 tank battle next. Also loved the stop motion (awkwardly pats head). There ya go, you have been praised.
Holy crap Bill, it was awesome!! I mean, I guess it was alright. sort of. I mean the part where you lost was cool. *Love it, want more!*
This is my favorite one yet! The animation is so fun! ❤
Credit to the designer for a simple but interesting little game. I could actually follow what was going on the entire time.
Another fantastic episode - not just a battle report, but awesomely animated, too! We're so lucky to have you Bill.
And to top it off, Theo hoped you would feel the burn from being rammed in episode...Erm, seventy. Brilliant.
How kind of you, Bill. Letting the kids win is always so important for their morale. We salute your sacrifice.
It was absolutely lovely, Bill. Would greatly enjoy seeing you play any other games with all of the stuff you've made!
Brilliant video as always mate 👏 looking forward to the next one
Love the animated version!
Thanks bill i really enjoyed this episode of tonks and seeing you battle it out with Theo was great 👍🏻 it’s inspired me to build my own tonk so we will see how we go, great job 😎👌🏻
Yes more please. Love how you structured the extra bits and stop motion is always good.
Wonderful stuff Bill! The animation was delightful.
Yes been waiting for this. Don’t disappoint me.
Found your channel 3 days ago, thanks for keeping me entertained while I'm off work sick. Love the style and getting really inspired to actually make my own crusty rusty factory planet terrain as well as the horrible skull-tree terrain I have planned!
Rattle Beport!
This was so good! Got me super exited to try the game for myself
I loved the battle report, thank-you for teaching us how to play tonks! I look forward to being able to play this with my friends
I'm impressed. I wasn't expecting this to be so coherent and engaging. I think I'll be pitching this to a couple of people. Might need to make a friend. Also i would watch these videos religiously, especially if they have those little visual aid edits. Thanks for the video dude.

Awesome episode! Great laughs, great game, loved the stop motion. A+ content Bill
Awesome bill playing a game with his friends (not friends). Perfectly concise and engaging and love the stop motion, great touch!
This is exactly what I wanted. Loved seeing the game, and all your hard work in action. The animations, sound effects, everything - were so cool. Its like the visuals are 'in universe' with your music and models.
The animation 're-cap' at the end was so cool. It really put everything that happened into fluid, hectic perspective!
I would suggest this title of the series “Cat judging Bill for talking to people who are watching Bill play games without themselves talking because they are busy wondering why is cat so judgmental”
Love it. And I appreciate all the work that went into that stop motion animation.
Yeah It was worth the time to watch. I would like to see more of your stop motion animation.
Magnificant episode! The animation made it way cool.
I discovered this channel with the first Tonks video, and I really enjoy everything about how you edit and present your builds. The battle report and animation was really fun too!

I love the whole stuff! You folks, are so creative and funny. Pls keep it up!
I love to see you making stuff, but this is my favourite video of yours so far. You did a great job on the animation. The time was well spent.
Definitely looks like an awesome game I'm going to play it at some point. Cool video bill. Nice win Theo.
Awesome!! so much fun to watch!! well done!! Rematch!!
Bill Battles!! Great video. Always love the stop-action, and the gameplay is a perfect excuse for it.
This was the best episode of Bill Plays a Game ever on youtube!
Really great animation. Loved the explanation on rules and will definitely going tonking after this
This was great!
Loved this!! Your battle report was among the most engaging and visually appealing that I’ve seen! And we need to see some Stargrave reports!
Amazing video as always bill
Would love to see more battle reports in the future
Unfortunately Halloween does go against my religion but still can't wait to see what you come up with
TONK DAY!!!
I can imagine the work this animation gave you, Bill. Sleepless nights, endless editing, lots of crying and sweating (if it's not cold, of course!).
I didn't know how to play it. I learned one more! But anyway...an amazing job!
🕵 I take off my hat...
Cheers
Having sprinkled reports of Tonks battles would be a nice feature to the channel! Or a game based on all of your creations!
Enjoyed that
This is best battle report I have ever seen, thanks bill!
Brilliant! First ever battle report I've watched and I was not disappointed. Anything else will now pale in comparison. I've never been into wargaming, but I feel a need to build some Tonks now.
