most beginner drivers come to the conclusion that not using the brakes is faster, which can be a good sign. buf if you are at this point, you will only be able to evolve when you understand the value of the brake and/or realize how wrong your line is without them
the best drivers usually brake a lot more than an average driver
Appreciate the effort you put into these videos, thank you, great job 👏
Hi! I use for braking that of braking late and start turning on brakes while leaning out. It is help me to overtake more comfortable when it need, and defend comfortable if somebody want to racing. Maybe slower for lap time, but I more like racing than actual lap times.
I've only raced rental karts, problem with them is that their brakes basically lock up instantly, so braking into corners is very hard to control.
The brake pedal isn't an on-off switch. You have to feel the point where it's close to locking up, and that's the optimal, if you ask me. The lower the speed, the easier it is to lock up with high brake pressure
@@assettocorsahotlaps3730 I see you have expert knowledge about karts you have never used. The brake pedal on those things does nothing for most of the travel and then it locks up the brakes.
@@azmc4940 What karts does your track have? you didn't say it specifically, so I'm just saying my experience. Sorry, if I hurt you with my words
hadnt had that problem only when i stomp it and that was for testing in the rain
@@azmc4940 i see you have expert knowledge about every kart at every track everywhere lol. i've done my fair share of rental karting and can say more often than not, in my experience, the brakes are more prone to fading rather than locking instantly
Hey bro, make up a video on how to take a chicane corner in rental kart and race kart, the racing lines and braking.
Great suggestion! Let me work on it 👍
Hey Omar, really nice vid👍 Just wanted to know if any member of QKC, including you, is planning to book some rental karting sessions at LKC this weekend. Would be really nice to race with the top drivers💪Thanks!
Hi Samuel! I’m going to be there on both days. Hope we can meet up and do some sessions 👍
Hi, nice video but you should add a visual information like a red dot during the time you brake as beginners, we can have an idea of how much you brake, when and how long
What's better, 0 steer or trail braking for karting and does that change between electric and gas?
Rotax max )))
Of course you should use a braking in rm.
But in indoor karting in some corners kart is slow enough and you better use (I don’t know how it is in English) “off gas pedal”
Hey "off the gas pedal" i think its called coasting. when your not braking or pushing the gas. sorry if this was confusing
That was fast😮
Nr.1 Rule: Slow IN Fast OUT! that's always gonna be faster!
Whens the track lines video you all said that is coming out soon on the QKC channel?

Fantastic vid! clear explanation and to the point!
I would love to see a video like this but with a focus on Electric karts! Most of my karting is electric, but info on them is limited compared to petrol karts.
Thank you for your feedback! I did this same experiment at an indoor track with electric karts. You can watch it here: ua-cam.com/video/0RyjX17BecE/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
Bro can you make a video about entry level karts?
Sure! Can you be more specific on what you you want?
When you like karting and want to buy your first gokart.
"don't brake be a man"
say that again when you crash into a wall at 50 miles per hour because you never braked at a really sharp corner
Appreciate the effort you put into these videos, thank you, great job 👏
