There is an update! The 12-volt conversion is now complete, and I mad a video showing the wiring diagram and I also trace each wire to give the best view possible: 12-Volt Conversion Wiring Details ― Tracing the Wires - ua-cam.com/video/gdC1VKxBkWw/v-deo.html
lmao! "Tracing where the hell these things go." I can totally relate. The wiring on my tractor is a mess, and I think it's hexed. After rebuilding the carburetor it just stopped getting power. Makes no freaking sense! Thanks for posting! Btw, love the light!
At least I'm not alone! If you haven't seen it yet, I got it figured out and not only are there way less wires after the 12-volt conversion. I got it started on starting fluid so I'm currently rebuilding the carb myself. Hopefully that doesn't jinx me like it did to you! 😲 The latest video (from a couple days ago) is linked below... TO-20 12-Volt Conversion Project ― Ignition! ― Kind of… -- ua-cam.com/video/qx55R7PBGZs/v-deo.html
I just started mine today. I'm taking the push button start out of the equation since my new ignition switch takes care of that. Charging system and hard to start issues started me on my journey.
I put a new light switch in but not hooking lights up yet. I still have to run through 2 inch trees and 8 ft tall weeds. Not to mention I have to deal with low hanging branches and vines. So the lights would just get ripped off. I make my tractor work hard. Lol.. Tomorrow is oil change and Spark plug change day and afterwards it will be put back to work. 😎👍
@@franksmith2780 - For me it will be mostly used to brush hog pasture and spread fertilizer -- but I will also be driving it on the back roads with a local tractor club. I really need to make some time and wrap that job up!
I search for a circuit Diagram for an tea20 with plus as earth. I renew the electric because someone has connect the batterie false and the wires are burn. Did. you Unterstand German ?
Sorry Timme, I don't understand German, but I will be getting back to work on the TO-20 very soon, and will show what I have for the wiring diagram. It t will be negative ground or earth though.
What would cause hooking up the ground and then positive to the battery start sparkling i hook up every thing the same after i changed clutch and by the way i have another clutch if you need one for some reason Amazon send two clutches i guess i should return it but they have never ask for it lol

@@joeyhilliard2376 -- It really shouldn't do that. Maybe a wire got pinched somewhere and it is now grounding out?
