Love the Nitro. Part of the fun for me is working on them not just plug and play. batteries sucked when I was growing up but a whole new ball game nowadays. but I'll still take the roar of a finely tuned machine of the whine of a battery. Nice comparison. Nitro just evokes speed by way of noise. The electric reminds me of a Tesla - stealthy fast. Ive owned gasoline, nitro, and electric rc cars. My number one complaint was getting the fueled cars running and to stay running. The electric was plug and play. No guessing. Theres something to be said about the noise though. The electric wasnt as fun because it was only a visual experience. The gas and nitros are so much more, and take skill to operate. If yiu want to get into the hobby, buy an electric and learn about wheels, handling, suspension, etc, as they crossover well. Then get a fueled car if you have the skill. If you cant start the fueled car, you still have your electric to play with.
Both cars are great in my opinion. Electric have sick torque but nitro has higher top speed(I think). Nitro cars makes you sound like your running a chainsaw on wheels. But if all the maintenance on a nitro is annoying, electric is the best choice.
Adrian Luna yes exactly. Both are fast, and honestly electric is going to have more power due to its nature. However Nitro can be ran all day, and has many other percs on top of the fact that its a tiny nitro engine which is awesome. Ive only ever raced electric but at a high level of open classes but nitro are sound better are more fun to watch and in the uk we run on astro which in my opinion is better than dirt but how come you get some proper jumps lol
All down to the driver realy, nitro and battery are both good just depends what you want, had nitro but too much noise for me so limited where to go as where with brushless, no noise hardly and no hastle!!
Nope. Mostly down to the driver in real. But electric is simply better than nitro nowadays. Benefits from electric, more accurate and customized throttle response, less weight, more power, more torque, more running time, lower gravity point. Those are facts. Probally biggest benefit for nitro that you hear clearly how motor responses. (RPM, acceleration), should help on corners and bounces etc.
I did say electric is better but still they both have there pro's and cons, with nitro it's the servicing i don't like as where with brushless it is plug and play as long as you have enough batteries you are fine and these can be charged pretty quick now days, now with gas there is a different arguement, less servicing for one! But both nitro and gas are too noisey for me for where i live but if i was to have one it would be a gas guzler but for now i'm fine with my mt4 g3😆
Depends on the battery size i supose, but how much do nitro and gas engines weigh with a full tank, pro's and cons my freind, i would try a petrol one if i had somewhere it wouldn't annoy
electric is a little more powerful at the beginning..that's the only bad side .. less power after 8-10 minutes ,and nitro can keep on going the same speed just add fuel, it's also faster to load fuel than changing batteries..

And then rev the hell outta the car to keep it running. Then the head or the pipe will burn you. I bring gloves just for that reason. (burns) Nitro sux for turn marshals.
Andrew Gregory Don't quote me on this but IIRC e-buggies are heavier due to the battery. Definitely a cleaner setup though. I have both.
Depends on the battery size i supose, but how much do nitro and gas engines weigh with a full tank, pro's and cons my freind, i would try a petrol one if i had somewhere it wouldn't annoy
Faehrt er den nitro ein?
Oder wieso laeuft er so fett?
Nitro is more fun you get to work with it more
That's nitro moter is not running right sounds a bit fat
What motor was that?
What Brand Nitro?
electric is a little more powerful at the beginning..that's the only bad side .. less power after 8-10 minutes ,and nitro can keep on going the same speed just add fuel, it's also faster to load fuel than changing batteries..
Roy Mariano Running on lipos not NIMH. You don't lose that much power if at all.
The nitro is way out of tune it,I also wonder who would win if the race was 30min or 45
