- Jason Bourne, a foreign service officer with a tortured past, has become a signature role for Oscar winner Matt Damon. Now, after 14 years, he’s returned to the character in the new thriller “Jason Bourne.” “It’s a role that’s given me so much,” Damon acknowledges, but he’s looking forward to some time off. “I’ve done four straight movies and I have one more to go … but I’m excited to finish out this year at work and take a year off.”
