True
it's pretty stressful for teenagers tbh. People keep thinking that we should be happy and stuff. But getting used to the new body and the school trends and everything is constantly making me stressed out.
Trends ain't that deep, man.
I agree! I’m barely a teenager, and I’m not a big fan of what’s happening around me. I was never one to wear what everyone else was wearing, etc, and I try to hold onto that
@@584asmr4good I was not like that and I am still not like that I try to fit in because nobody ever notices me I spent 5th-7th grade being the one kid that never hangs around anyone books kinda started to become my friends in 8th grade i gave up hope at the start of the year I had 5 friends I ended with 3 this year I started with 5 and I am going to end with 8 1st year I have actually gained friends I’ve had a hard life I’m a military child and I think I have some childhood trauma I can’t wait to go to college and get away from my bullying brother and my parents say it’s just because he’s a teenager but me and him have just been getting more and more distant the last time he said he loved me and actually wasn’t forced to say it was in early November
@@Hp_percyJackson_twilightFan I kind of relate to this.
After my father's passing, I started focusing on things other than the ones that my family members had done so far, I learnt English, I am opting for maths in 11th, I learnt programming and all that stuff. But when I talk about this to my family members, The just make fun of me. Even if they are happy for what I've done, They Just laugh at me and idk why.
On the other hand, A Few friends that I have in school, Are the ones who keep motivating me to not give up just yet. Idk why but my life is just going the other way around rn
It's funny how a few of these comments are made by underaged people but they're still more mature and understanding than some adults. I feel adults are too fixated on their title as adults and undermine teens and kids in general. Lets give them a chance before shooting them down, shall we? (As a teenager myself, I've seen how some passionate and spirited peers were just shot down because they're "just kids")
The major problem, for me at least, is that I keep stopping doing things I like simply because I think I'm wasting time by not doing things that look "competitive" for admissions officers. I've realized that it is much more important to do something that you are passionate about than doing what you want others to think you do and enjoy.
YES!! Also, the things that you do just for fun (i.e., the things that don't look "competitive"), actually tend to be the activities that stand out the most. I'm a huge proponent of pursuing fun, "quirky" hobbies in addition to the more traditional activities
This video really help me and i was always so scared of trying to stand out becuase for me i feel like the standard for me being asian, im always veiwed as "smart and noting else" so i was embarassed of getting a 95 percent of getting a b in math or lutterly doing anything wrong because i would think that im not living up to the standard as my culture and my family heritage. It felt like i was a puppet or somthing that should be represented as a avarage standard and what ever i did wrong was hurting my reputation. Im still trying to be myself with other people becauase i usally keep myself hidden and unseen and your videos help me out alot so thank you❤
@@user-ku8ml1fs1l feel you bro 😢❤
@@goharsguidedude I think ur awesome I look up to you 😊
Being a teenager is like a foggy road, you don’t know where your gonna go, you always fear there’s a cliff at the end.
but if you don't keep walking, you will never find out

I am 14 and i am constantly struggling with maintaining my grades, my health and also my hobbies. It became so much of a burden that i didn't think it was possible, until i saw Gohar's Channel. Thanks Mr. Gohar.
Same I'm 14f I'm almost 15 (star wars day) and health is a biggie for me. I have epilepsy, RND, hypotension, and close to everything not fatal under the sun. (I'm not saying epilepsy cant be fatal) And I miss SO MUCH SCHOOL. 😭 I constantly have to wear braces on my wrists, knees, ankles etc. I'm so tired rn😭 it's 11pm im tired and I need sleep to go to school tomorrow Im gonna sleep now. That's probably a lie. I'm probably gonna doom scroll. Ok bye 👋

0:27 Embrace the Weird (Your “weirdness” can make you stand out in a good way!)
2:28 Everything is a Skill (Hard skills: Concrete; Soft skills: Less tangible. BOTH ARE TRAINABLE!)
4:01 It’s Never Too Late (Being a teen is still a lot of time to learn something!)
5:03 You are More Capable Than You Realize (Not everything is based on innate talent!)
6:22 Be Explicit (Ghosting and beating around the bush can lead to people believing your unreliable)
7:50 Life is a Presentation Game (Presentation is important!)
9:03 Nurture Relationships (It’s up to you to talk to your parents/friends! Time will slowly go away, and you have to start putting in the effort!)
Thanks 😮

This might be the most helpful video i have seen yet on this platform. As a french teenager with ADHD, i really need to rewatch this video a lot to process everything, my life is falling appart right now. Familly problems, my weirdness, my fragile social skills, adding my adhd on top of that makes it very painful. This video might help me to get back up and move on with my life, thank you gohar.

I really needed this. I’ve always compared myself to what people
Younger than me, my age, older than me. I felt like I’ve always been behind, and not doing enough. Remembering to take things slow, day by day, really helps me to live in the moment.
I really love your animations

i love making websites with React and apps with Swift

Hello Gohar! You have really helped me with school this year! You are a great UA-camr with lots of helpful tips. I was just wondering if you could make a video or short about how to get better at timed tests. Thank you!
Is anyone gonna mention how insane this guy's editing skills have gotten since he started UA-cam?
Thank you ❤
This video was actually great
As a 15 year old grammar schooler doing my GCSEs in the UK, thanks for the advice. I’d like to be able to go to Oxford for university so your videos really help!
For someone that's starting teenage hood this is very helpful thank you
I'm a teen thats really into coding and I love the advice of embracing the weirdness and doing what you love. These types of tips are necessary, keep it up Gohar!
I can really relate I am thirteen and I have a great endearment towards coding and its the PERFECT example of Embracing ''Weirdness"
Do not let others judge you beacuse you code, remember it. Hope the best for both of you

Very helpful! Thanks
love the video. do more
thank you!
I love the tip that it’s “not too late” I started on my competitive sailing team as a 15 year old freshman after Covid. I was very nervous as I’ve never sailed before or remotely even looked into it. However I worked hard and pushed myself to learn all I could and did summer programs as well as every regatta my school participated in. I’m a senior now and a captain and although I’m not amazing I can hold my own and beat college sailors and people that have been sailing since they were little. It’s been such an incredible sport and passion for me that I’m going to continue fostering my love for sailing as a summer sailing instructor at the place my team sails out of this summer!
As me going to high school soon, this is really helpful for me so I can do some time management thx
❤❤
Thanks man
Thanks Man
this sounds stupid but i’m literally tearing up omg. this channel is everything i ever needed, and every tip in this video is exactly what i need. i struggle with all of these tips and this well definitely help. please make more of these videos!!!
There’s so many things I can think of to better myself socially and academically, but to be blunt with it I’m scared. I have a history in my school district of being laughing material and nothing to care about. There’s so much I want to do yet I don’t know where to begin.
Have you heard of atomic habits? The basics are that small changes in routine can impact your life a lot, whether it’s limiting time on social media, or going on three walks per week. You want to act like the person you want to be, and adopt the mannerisms of that person at the finish line.
Saved!
thank you. just thank you
Thanks a lot, that really helped me, because I’m in my teenage years
