I still think it should have been more issues, because the events are very hasty. House Harkonnen novel is the longest from the trilogy. Btw the comics are still good. I like the artwork. House Atreides also had cool art but the quality dropped in the last issues. I felt like if the artist had enough of drawing and just wanted to finish it anyways. (maybe this is the reason why two artists drew this comic? 🤔) Gurney meeting with Liet feels a bit contradiction for me too. They should have known each other in Dune, even if they met more then a decade ago, unless if they weren't enough important to notice each other. Kailea was annoying for me too, but when she died I felt sorry for her. I agree with you that her whole story with Leto and Victor was a bit off. I can't really imagine Leto had another son before Paul. But I accepted this story more when I read the novel, because it was executed pretty well.
The original House Atreides artist was nice enough to comment on my review of the series a couple months ago. He explained that his Father passed away in the middle of the run which was sad to hear. I agree, he did a great job.
Wow, I had no clue that Dune comic books existed.
Give em a shot, they’re pretty solid.
