@Juanaaaa It's understandable to be concerned about how long you've been experiencing symptoms, especially if they might impact your uterus. Conditions like endometriosis or other reproductive health issues can have long-term effects if left untreated. It's important to consult a healthcare provider who can evaluate your symptoms, provide a proper diagnosis, and discuss potential treatment options. Early intervention can often lead to better outcomes, so don’t hesitate to seek medical advice! Your health is a priority, and addressing these concerns is a positive step forward.
@AjiolaEniola Metronidazole is a common and effective treatment for bacterial vaginosis, but it's important to follow your doctor's advice for the best treatment plan. I get this infection repeatedly. Antibiotics do not work for chronic BV. Many women know this so we use the boric capsules. Which is what your doctor will put you on after many antibiotic prescriptions that only worked temporarily. I don't think I want a flagyl prescription 10xs a year. That's what I'm talking about. Chronic BV that was not cured or regulated by a prescription. The boric acid is much safer.
Starting the beginning stage of menopause I started noticing anytime I use all of Olay soap from the shea moisture or a few others all of a sudden I come down with vaginitis this is terrible as this is one of my favorite soaps and I couldn't understand why now of all times. Thanks a lot Doc for sharing this video. Please I have a question to ask which needs an immediate answer I have cuts after having sex with my partner and I happened to apply it an epiderm cream which contains betamethasone dipropionate and gentamicin sulfate and which resulted in giving serious pain and burning sensation. I was administered of metronidazole, Ciprofloxacin, doxycycline and ketoconazone tablets. This happened to cease the burning sensation but I still have sores at the opening of my vagina which is not painful unless after urination. Please can you prescribe any drugs for me to cure the sore
Yeah Ebere...Since you are having issues with your vagina...DON'T HAVE SEX FOR A WHILE..MAKE SURE YOU CHANGE YOUR PANTIES EVERYDAY AS YOU TAKE A GOOD HOT SHOWER/BATH...GOOD LUCK..
I also have cut after intercourse with my partner. The one thing i do is to wash it with warm water . For me the itching and burning sensation subsides. I did not use mild soap or cream for awhile.

Does the new partner produce the bacteria in the vagina? Or the fact of having a new partner is the cause of the bacteria in the women? Then VB is a sign of an affair in married couples then? Please explain
no . even a virgins can get BV . it's an inbalance du to having anti biotics a lot or washing with the wrong products and many times a day . also women who are going through menopause can have it . only women can get it ( men can't give it to women) .
No it doesn’t mean an affair. You can get it pretty easily like if your partner ( a guy maybe even a girl) doesn’t shower you could get it or you’re someone’s hands are dirty and they touch you. It’s very easy
Frequent urination can be a symptom of bacterial vaginosis, often accompanied by vaginal discharge and odor. Diagnosis involves a pelvic exam and testing of vaginal fluids. Treatment typically includes antibiotics prescribed by a healthcare provider.

If u are sexually active and not using protection then you need to make sure you urinate right after sex, and shower to wash away bacteria. @DierserMaxwell-e4x Bacterial vaginosis is a common vaginal infection caused by an imbalance in the normal bacteria of the vagina. It’s usually treatable with prescribed antibiotics, and maintaining good hygiene can help prevent it. If you or someone you know is experiencing symptoms, it's always best to consult a healthcare provider for proper guidance and care. Stay healthy! 😊
@FardoseAktar It looks like there might be a mix-up with names or something unrelated here. If you have a question or need information about bacterial vaginosis, feel free to ask, and I'll be happy to help! 😊

@user-li2vx7lu4s Haha, it sounds like you're referencing a funny or relatable moment, maybe in a video or a conversation about babies! Babies definitely have their own way of expressing what they do or don’t like, and the idea of them reacting to a smell like that is pretty amusing. Thanks for the laugh! 😄💩
@JobBradley-h5s Bacterial vaginosis (BV) at a location like Rice Point would involve managing symptoms such as abnormal discharge and odor. Treatment typically includes antibiotics or antimicrobial medications prescribed by a healthcare provider. It's also important to maintain good hygiene, avoid douching, and use unscented personal care products. If symptoms persist or recur, consulting with a healthcare provider for further evaluation and treatment is essential.
Love Wellness, Vagisil and Summers Eve all make balanced washes. I use summers eve and I smell good all day and have never had an issue but I’m sure you’ll have to experiment some to find which one works best for you.
Vaginal probiotic suppositories can be a helpful treatment for bacterial vaginosis (BV) as they may help restore the natural balance of bacteria in the vagina. Probiotics like Lactobacillus can promote a healthy vaginal environment and potentially reduce symptoms. However, it's important to follow up with a healthcare provider for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan, as BV may sometimes require antibiotics or other specific treatments.

Starting the beginning stage of menopause I started noticing anytime I use all of Olay soap from the shea moisture or a few others all of a sudden I come down with vaginitis this is terrible as this is one of my favorite soaps and I couldn't understand why now of all times. So I can only use sensitive Dove😢
Same happened to me. I use Dove now and I only use honey pot for sensitive skin on my Vajay.
So what are u saying is ..this is just the beginning of menopause?
Can't poor perineal hygiene also cause BV?
Yes
@@rosejurgen4292 scam alert ⚠️
Yes and no. Over cleaning can cause it. Bath oils, detergents and bubble baths can cause it, over cleaning and stuff just happens to mess with ur PH balance :(
Over cleaning can actually cause it as well! Lots of feminine hygiene products I got told to stop using

Thanks a lot Doc for sharing this video. Please I have a question to ask which needs an immediate answer
I have cuts after having sex with my partner and I happened to apply it an epiderm cream which contains betamethasone dipropionate and gentamicin sulfate and which resulted in giving serious pain and burning sensation. I was administered of metronidazole, Ciprofloxacin, doxycycline and ketoconazone tablets. This happened to cease the burning sensation but I still have sores at the opening of my vagina which is not painful unless after urination. Please can you prescribe any drugs for me to cure the sore
Yeah Ebere...Since you are having issues with your vagina...DON'T HAVE SEX FOR A WHILE..MAKE SURE YOU CHANGE YOUR PANTIES EVERYDAY AS YOU TAKE A GOOD HOT SHOWER/BATH...GOOD LUCK..
you ever figure out how to fix that?
I also have cut after intercourse with my partner. The one thing i do is to wash it with warm water . For me the itching and burning sensation subsides. I did not use mild soap or cream for awhile.
Can you get it if you are a teen 14-13
Yes

Can it cause frequent urination? Biggest symptom right now
Frequent urination can be a symptom of bacterial vaginosis, often accompanied by vaginal discharge and odor. Diagnosis involves a pelvic exam and testing of vaginal fluids. Treatment typically includes antibiotics prescribed by a healthcare provider.
I am 17 years old i have been suffering from vaginal yeast infection... My doctor prescribed me four medicines
Including ciprofloxacin + tinidazole... I have taken this pill but then i an feeling heartburn throat irritation mild stomacg irritation burn too what do i do should i take it idu pls help
Antibiotics will destroy the good bacteria in your vaginal flora and make you more prone to infections later on.
If u are sexually active and not using protection then you need to make sure you urinate right after sex, and shower to wash away bacteria. Also, start using boric acid suppository’s that go in the vagina to keep your ph balance in check. Oh yea! condoms and semen can throw off your ph as well. Hope this helps
@@Beyondblessed261 no ofc not I am only 17 and not sexually active
In the video it says
Its not contagious but if u are having sex with your partner will they get the same simtoms as you which is the burning
they could get infected too, but it’s a low percentage, but still possible, if they do have infection they could just reinfect you
Im here because Cardi B says this when she forgot her name

Rice Point
@JobBradley-h5s Bacterial vaginosis (BV) at a location like Rice Point would involve managing symptoms such as abnormal discharge and odor. Treatment typically includes antibiotics or antimicrobial medications prescribed by a healthcare provider. It's also important to maintain good hygiene, avoid douching, and use unscented personal care products. If symptoms persist or recur, consulting with a healthcare provider for further evaluation and treatment is essential.

Try vaginal probiotic suppositories
Vaginal probiotic suppositories can be a helpful treatment for bacterial vaginosis (BV) as they may help restore the natural balance of bacteria in the vagina. Probiotics like Lactobacillus can promote a healthy vaginal environment and potentially reduce symptoms. However, it's important to follow up with a healthcare provider for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan, as BV may sometimes require antibiotics or other specific treatments.
