Grimmer and Lunge are my two favourite characters:
The man who proved that kindness and heroisme can be born from the epicentre of suffering
And the detective who made his conclusion about the truth with his logical thinking after following a few informations and the clue of issue: " the comic book of Bonaparta ".
I love Grimmer so much
AHHH THESE ARE THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY WEEK IM GONNA HATE WHEN THESE END 4 MOREEE
Dang the situation has gotten from bad to hell worse
I wont spoil anything, and by now I'm sure you guys have already seen it since you're doing an episode binge. But this incredible anime/story (really just a work of art point blank) has one of my favorite endings of all time. To me its just about as perfect as it gets.
the whiskey bon bon talk in the intro had me dyin😂
THE WHOLE SESAME STREET GANG ARE ALL GATHERING 😂
This shit us so good
After Monster could you please react to One Outs, Kaiji or Hajime no Ippo?
and Akagi, if they like majong.
Main characters of One Outs and Akagi are on the same level as Johan.
We watched a few hajime no ippo on patreon and we REALLY liked it, but haven’t had time to fully pick it up. I’m hoping we can make some room soon!
While Franz Bonaparta did hide, he essentially left obviously clues to his wear about’s. Frist as the show explained last time hiding in a town called “Ruhelebe”, which roughly translates to “quiet life” and even more specific with assuming the identity of a hotel manager in the Hotel with the name “Versteck”, the German word for “hiding place”. Urusawa’s been amazing with doing these hints at things and references to themes of the story with the German language.
Also while all places before where real places in Germany and the Czech Republic the town is a made up location, but he created something that feels absolutely real from the design down tho the towns people.
Grimmer’s absolutely right trying to keep him alive and getting Bonaparta/Poppe to get actual punishment… but there’s literally no way that the children that had their lives ruined by his and Chapec’s experiments could ever get actual justice. He obviously isn’t the same person anymore, his relationship with the boy shows that, personally I would probably still kill him.
A perfect suicide would be that Tenma is the one that kills him and proves his point that all live is equally meaningless/worthless.
