This ia very inspirational. After getting tabled by Thanos last game, Defense Skew sounds fun as hell. I would run mine with Taskmaster and Crimson Dynamo.
I know the goal of this list is adding to the defensive roll, but I feel like making a defensive team and not adding Dynamo is an MCP sin. Plus, while you can't add dice to superpowers like Gamora's martial prowess, you can use dynamo to reroll those enemy hits and increase the chance of her or Electra striking back.
Okay, I am still new to this, but it is a slight variation of your build. Let me know what you think. The idea is to play at the 15 theat core of Steve, Cable and Strange. The Soulstone makes that core 15 threat and gives Strange the battery to keep up his defensive tech more often. 16 is the only weird one with Steve, Cable, Taskmaster and Dynamo. But from there you add 2 threat Widow at 17, Taskmaster at 18, and then it opens up at 19+. Characters (10) * Captain America (Steve Rogers) (4) * Doctor Strange (Soul) (6) * Cable (5) The Black Widow (4) Captain Marvel (4) Quicksilver (3) Taskmaster (3) Black Widow (2) Darkstar (3) * Crimson Dynamo (4) Team Tactics (10) Brace for Impact (R) Indomitable (R) Avengers Assemble Battle Plan Fall Back Recalibration Matrix Can I Borrow That? Sovereign Strike Vapors of Valtorr Vertical Assistance Secure Crisis Gamma Wave Sweeps Across Midwest (E, 15) Demons Downtown! Has Our Comeuppance Come Due? @@Kaylubdee Seems like a really solid list, the Winter Guard card splash is definitely interesting, I think with the main plan you probably won't use it too often just because Steve's leadership is really good for the team, but still a neat inclusion and could throw off an opponent. Overall, seems like a really solid version of the list!
@@ZetroxWargaming Thank you!! I am very excited to try it on the table! I only threw in the Winterguard cards because I was unsure how to fill out the rest of the cards. If you were to swap them out, what would you use?
@@piratesideburns Unfortunately Doctor Strange is not affiliated according to the affiliation list, I had thought he was going into this so was a little disappointed to see he wasn't.
I mean you can bring the card from the Earth's Mightiest core box that makes a 3 or less threat character Avengers affiliated, and it kinda plays into this since if that character is within 2 of a character with a leadership (So cap or cable) they get to add 1 die to their defense
@@loselot6044 Reserve Members is an Avengers affiliated card so you need to be affiliated before you would get a chance to play it. Can’t use it to make a non-affiliated squad affiliated unfortunately
Eight to twelve dice on a Defense roll sounds disgusting. Now, having all those dice roll well is a very different story, especially if you roll like I do...
@@ZetroxWargaming I don't know how many times I've said "boy that would have been a good roll if (attacking instead of defending, or defending instead of attacking). Dice be like: "Counting blanks? Oops, all fails" 🙄

Definitely could use a Taskmaster 😉
That seems perfect here!

Dynamo definitely would've been the more competitive pick over something like Elektra, but I wanted to stay as on-theme as possible

Just FYI the potential team of Steve, Doctor Strange, Cable, Shadow Cat, and Darkstar is affiliated. Cap, Strange, and Cable are Avengers.

That's where counting blanks comes in, I'm good at rolling blanks! And skulls, but that's a conversation for different models lol
