Finally the real price. It seems like when you come from America and you want a borehole. The price is near 3500 U. S dollars. And you are saying less than $1300. So they triple the price on Americans and others. That come to the country. If people would charge the real price and set a tripping device, they would have a 1000 times the business. More people would want to come to Ghana and set up shop.

I reside in the States as well and made it known to the company but at no point did they try to overcharge me.
You are so right with the business aspect of it.
These guys did an excellent job with my borehole and I’m always ready to promote and support local artisans when they do the right things in my site.
The drilling,submersible pump and installation cost me Ghc17,000.

Do you have a pit latrine toilet in your yard? If yes, how far is it from the borehole?
@@simazsquared I do have a Septic tank and it’s on the far left from where the borehole is.
It’s about 40feet apart.

Don’t you need electricity to pump the water. How do u connect the pump to power when u have not built the house and have electricity?
You certainly need electricity to pump the water.
You can use generator in the absence of electricity and that’s exactly what we’re doing at the moment.

The concrete mixer machine cost was Ghc1,100 for 2 days as at January 2023.

Yes it is.It helps you save money especially if you would have to buy tanks of water to your site for your project.
You just have to make sure the drilling is done at the right place.

I am going to close my eyes and dig a borehole. I am spending 70 GHC per trip for water and it is not funny anymore.
I’ll encourage you to get it done if you have the means now.
