- A Colorado woman got the fright of her life when she encountered a massive black bear in her garage. Denielle Backstrom of Colorado Springs had just dropped her kids off at the babysitter Tuesday and was unaware that a bear followed her into the garage when she pulled in. As she was getting ready to exit the vehicle, she saw the giant animal that was estimated to be 400 pounds. "It is a big black bear," she told Inside Edition. "He is huge!" #InsideEdition

The same bear was in our garage, too. My 100lb mom yelled at him and he left. He had opened the freezer and was munching on some cashews. Our garage was open while we were doing yard work. He eventually killed. Very sad.

Humans have destroyed wildlife habitats so much that they almost have no choice to go to peoples homes looking for food. I lived in Colorado Springs for a few years. I had to secure my trash dumpsters closed to keep the bears from scattering my trash. One really large male bear tried to get into my trash dumpster. He was really angry, picked the dumpster up, started shaking it. After the bear had left, there were deep claw marks on the sides of the dumpster.
I wish everyone reacted this way around black bears. She knew it wasn't dangerous, I like this lady.

I used to live in Colorado Springs and Denver I never seen any bears come that close though luckily I think it depends on where you live she might be closer to the mountain area because more down to the city or suburbs you don't see that not really know but I near the mountains that's possible
