  • “You just put your pickle on everybody’s plate, college boy, and leave the hard stuff to me.”
One of my favorite lines from Johnny Castle in Dirty Dancing.
See, Robbie, the waiter who thought he was all the shiz, was putting his pickle everywhere.
Eventually, it came back to bite him and his reputation.
Robbie may not have cared how he was perceived.
But his actions and attitude left him seen negatively.
The same goes for your brand.
I’ve had many founders tell me:
    “B, I don’t care how I’m perceived.”
    Or “I’ll just wing it.”
    That’s all great.
But you could be maximizing opportunities.
We connect to people, emotions, and the illogical instead of logos and business names.
    It’s why:
Alex Hormozi is stronger than Acquisition.
Richard Branson is stronger than Virgin.
Elon Musk is stronger than Tesla.
It’s why I don’t focus on the name “Badassery by B.”
Instead, I build the link between Badassery and myself.
I bring that essence to content, in person and visually. Every time.
And it’s not creating something from smoke that’s as easy to maintain as a fad diet.
Your essence is there already and needs to be honed and strategy formed as to how it’ll show up in your business.
Because people will form associations regardless.
    Johnny understood this.
He held to his values and used them as guiding principles for his actions (brand strategy).
Leading him to shine in the end and resonate with the audience.
So why not take control and shape a brand that causes your audience to flock to you?
Do you dare to differentiate and attract those elusive high-ticket clients?
