As someone living in South Dakota, I can confirm we have extremely cold and snowy weather. It normally lasts from October to April. I'm not joking.
But I can only imagine the winters in North Dakota, Minnesota, Alaska, Canada, Russia, Scandanavia, or even Antarctica. As someone who likes winter, I would live there if I could.

As Missourian, I gotta say, you forgot the part where it ends up snowing 5 inches, ices over 10 minutes later, gets down to below zero barely 5 minutes later, than half an hour later, its back up to 70 degrees and everthing has melted away, and then half an hour after that it thunderstorms for an hour, and then goes back to sunny weather. Missouri weather is *fun*

As someone who lives in Virginia, I do agree that a lot of places, especially the mountains, don’t have good service. I’m surprised I didn’t see anything about finding Revolutionary War and Civil War monuments literally everywhere you go. The whole state is a literal museum when it comes to that stuff.
