- Episode 2 continues straight after the first episode as we sit on the taxiway, engines on and ready to taxi. We'll progress to the runway chatting about a few things to consider before highlighting the useful electronic checklist and the reason why it would be good to use it prior to lining up for takeoff.
After this, we'll depart runway 23R and work through the climb out towards our cruise altitude of FL190 for this short flight to Heathrow.

Looks like PMDG have done a great job with the T7. My only comment is not being able to use the integrated tablet in the T7 vs the PMDG one, but that’s an old purest thing. Certainly not a deal breaker. Looking forward to tomorrow and making my first delivery flight back to Heathrow from Everett. Great content as always thank you for taking the time to produce it.
Most airlines have removed the integrated tablet in favor of iPads anyway.
Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂 the integrated tablet is a redundant bit of kit for most if not all airlines now so PMDG decided not to build it, as it's already not used in the real world by most. Enjoy the T7!

Theres a problem for me. for some reason the nose wheel tiller barely turns to the left and right, not allowing me to turn properly at all. Im also having issues with the parking brakes. Anyone have a solution?
I have the same issue. I can´t steer. Parking break is as 737, but you can change to simple function.
@@chwiefarn Hello, i found a fix for the steering. In the FMC you have to select the “rudder” option, rather than “rudder+tiller”. the aircraft is perfect now
@@PilotSN7472 it is not working for me even if I select that option in the fmc, my plane still go straight ahead, no turning... Any idea?

Hello, I have a problem. Whenever I takeoff, the thrust resets to idle after 2 seconds in the air. I can no longer move the thrust levers at this moment and I crash. I've been stuck with the problem since the release but after 16 hours of trying, repeating the video 5 times, 1 to 1, I just can't get it and I'm desperate. It would be nice if there was a solution to the problem.
Have you got a problem with your keybinds? Sounds like you've got something causing Decrease Throttle to be held or something

Thank you! My tiller is moving in the cockpit. You can see it responds but the wheel is not moving!
Are you in motion? Check your settings to see if your tiller is connected to rudder pedals etc (mine are)

I am hoping though that you can help me with my settings, specifically the brakes (toe). When beginning the taxi I noticed a brakes test so using that scenario as an example I have noticed that my braking is all or nothing. I use the Winwing Skywalker/Orion pedals which are great and I have assigned the correct axis and looked after the dead zones etc. I am pretty sure this is to do with the only two options I see on the settings in MSFS which are either "On Press" or "On Release" thus not allowing for gradual braking. I see we don't use the same hardware but I was hoping you could share your settings and thoughts on this? I can only assume in the real world that the two options we have are not simply "off" or "100% lock up" - Many thanks in advance
@@danielforan7941 your pedals should be set up as an axis - unless you are using a button for brakes. Try set more of a gradual curve in sensitivity in your rudder pedals axis
What are you using to make the camera movement in the cockpit so smooth? I'm alway struggling with the camera positions.
Is the toga switch in the same place as the 737

Hi Luke. When you are in external view, I noticed you can still turn the nose wheel. If I go to external view and try to use my rudder padals the aircraft will not turn until I go back into the cockpit. Do you know how to resolve this problem. Thanks Alan
@@alanstringer9819 there's a keybind for toggle aircraft control I think, can't fully remember now though but I turn that on in order to control the aircraft in drone camera
wait theres NO VNAV???? like I HAVE TO CLICK ON ALT INT???? WHAAATTT????
There is VNAV - we use it, but we click to intervene the constraints so the aircraft climbs through the restriction (we were simulating atc telling us to climb further)
@@BritishAvgeek Uh ok so you just bypassed the contraints. Ok but I have 2 others problems about VNAV but in the FBW A32NX and in the base A320Neo : I have the dev A32NX and vnav works fine but it doesnt work for me in the stable V0.11 version . Youll say : thats ok just take the dev version. Yeah but what about headwind and horizon sim lvfr fbw mod? Those are using the stable version of a32NX so how can I fix the vnav? It says in the releases that VNAV is available since idk stable 0.6 ot something so y is it not available in the stable rn? In details in the mcdu it shows my T/C point but it doesnt show my T/D waypoint and when i get to my cruise alt for example 37000ft the dot at the right disappears and the TOD arrow disappears and when I like put idk 2000ft and i right click then the dot is there but my aircraft starts descending even if I did not pass the TOD. Same for the BASE A320 but whats worse is that I do not see any arrow. Im veeryy confused

sounds like you have a keybind causing throttle decrease
So far out of all the takeoffs, I've overstressed the plane twice and had to restart. Does anyone know what would cause this so that I can avoid it in the future ?
Turn Aircraft Stress damage off in the MSFS settings - it's THE worst feature in the sim, and i've had it turned off for 3 years now. Also, turn off Aircraft Damage in the settings too - also terrible.
What’s the proper way to get the plane to takeoff without the arm throttle triggering to go back to idle? I had that happen nearly every time I was trying to roll down the runway
If you follow all the steps in these tutorials starting from episode 1 you won't miss anything and it'll all be set up ready
