Lol, I agree I feel some level of empathy for a very small majority of these scammers that take these “prank” calls and hacks in stride and actually show their humanity and just laugh at the situation instead of getting extremely angry. There aren’t many though like that. I’ve seen a couple on Kitboga’s channel like that and a few on another guys channel…I forgot his channels name, the “James Boiler, private investigator” guy that excels in damaging scammer call centers rather than pranking them.
There’s always hope. People can change, their situation can change. Not all these scammers can be heartless, imo, there has to be a few that legit feel awful for doing what they’re doing and probably don’t mind when a scambaiter screws up their PC’s.
edit - then again that could just be wishful thinking. It all depends on the situation they’re in, I guess.

Next time, allow them access to "your computer" and change the icon of the Memez virus to a notepad and change the name to "bank information" and let them install it themselves. They always download the files and then transfer to their "senior adviser" it would destroy ALL of their computers

Shah Zaib Zia They claim to be a company like Microsoft or Amazon. Normally people will get a pop up saying they have a virus and it needs fixing and to call them (never call them). When you call them they will normally try to access your computer using team viewer or another remote access software. Then they’ll say they’ll only fix your computer if you pay them because the warranty is finished. There’s nothing wrong with the computer it’s all apart of the scam. They target old people who are less aware about technology.
Others will do a refund scam. Where they claim to be a company and they’ll give you a refund for a purchase. Then they’ll ask you to do remote access again. Then they’ll tell you to go into your bank whilst they’re on remote access so they can edit (no one will ever ask you to go into your bank). Team viewer has a feature which can blacken the screen. The scammers will simply use remote access to move money from your savings into you current account. Then they’ll show you and say they refunded “too” much money and to pay them back using gift cards. They never give you any money. Again they target old people.

@@ronjahn2579 No what they are, are poor young people in India who have a decent bit of experience with technology but can't afford to study comp sci often and get that degree so some of them end up being roped into the paycheck to paycheck (or weekly cash more accurately) life doing something that they are trained to do on repeat over and over again while most of the profits go to the few masterminds of the operations which are usually the people who are actually just like corrupt businessmen except what they do is classified as illegal (as it should be.) Think about it, there aren't enough jobs for the over 1 billion people in India so what will the people who do have these basic skills do to feed their families or even themselves, they will take any and all work they can find. Jobs like construction in India have a pretty high chance of death so unlike the US it isn't just hard work, it is deadly work that not everyone can or wants to do, and you are a lot less likely to die scamming than on an Indian construction site where builders constantly cut corners to save money. This is exactly what happens when your government is so corrupt they don't even care if their people live or die so the people start turning to shady things themselves to survive.

At the time, he and I talked about how, in English, we insult the mother (Son of a Bitch) while in Hindi the insult is directed to the father (Son of a Pussy Chaser).
Is that true? That was years ago, and I don't have any Indian friends where I currently live, so I have no way to cross-check.
