Prepare for an intense journey as we cover crucial moments, including the 13 Black Crusades, the Fall of Cadia, the Plague Wars, Psychic Awakening, and the deadly onslaught of Hive Fleet Leviathan.
We begin our exploration with the 13 Black Crusades, a series of devastating campaigns led by Abaddon the Despoiler, intent on weakening the Imperium's defenses and paving the way for the forces of Chaos. Learn how these relentless assaults tested the mettle of the Imperium's heroes and set the stage for the era's defining conflicts.
The Fall of Cadia marks a turning point in the Era Indomitus, as the once-impregnable fortress world is finally brought to its knees by the relentless assault of Chaos forces. Discover the desperate sacrifices made by Imperial forces in a last-ditch effort to stem the tide of darkness, and the ripple effects felt throughout the galaxy in the aftermath of this catastrophic event.
Next, we delve into the brutal Plague Wars, where the forces of Nurgle, the Chaos God of Decay, clash with the Imperium in a series of gruesome battles. Learn about the relentless spread of pestilence and despair across the galaxy, and how the newly resurrected Primarch Roboute Guilliman led the Imperium's counteroffensive against the forces of decay.
The Psychic Awakening is another critical event that we'll examine, as the galaxy experiences an unprecedented surge in psychic phenomena. We'll discuss the impact of this awakening on the various factions and how it has reshaped the balance of power in the Warhammer 40k universe.
Finally, we'll explore the terror brought upon the galaxy by Hive Fleet Leviathan, the largest and most aggressive Tyranid Hive Fleet ever encountered. Witness the desperate battles fought by the Imperium and xenos races alike as they strive to withstand the all-consuming onslaught of the Tyranids.

In an odd twist of fate the legion has grown to the point that there are telegram scam bots infesting the comments on every video we upload. Monkeys paw and all that. So I didn’t win. Dang it.
8 weeks 8 days and 8 hours. So 9 weeks and a short weekend?
This is great satire. Thanks for writing it like this. I'm not a consistent watcher, but I hope to see this from time to time. Oh, and I'm going to subscribe because of your awesome content and this great comment.😅
Exterminatus on the bots
On the new tau god the best book for more information is shadow sun the patient hunter.
Khorne backing up Angron is like that "Son, dying is gay" "Yes father" meme
Angron is SSJ2 Gohan against Cell with Khorne being Goku’s Spirit helping him with his Kamehameha
Great Rift for every faction: The bane of existence and the realm of laughing gods.
Great Rift for Orks: A literal spaceport.
Vacation resort lol😂
I love how the Eldar actually hold the human capacity for xenocide as a virtue to be sought after in an ally. Like they *hate* humans, but understand that both of them are playing the same game on formerly opposing sides.
Pretty sure that an eldar farseer said that humanities and eldars fate are the same, if the humanity dies then the eldar dies and if the eldar dies then humanity dies.
probably was just horny and trying to impress that cute monkey over there, I would wonder why someone would do that but greek mythology thaught me EvErYoNe is horny for interspecies stuff, tbh I somehow get it, my first question to an alien would be how it reproduces and if thats asexual I gonna get angsty otherwise probably horny if we speak of a species that looks like me and eldar/humans have that attribute to each other so much that you can't diatinguish them as soon as they wear hats, fucking hats 😅
I believe the only way for the elder race to continue is to cross breed with humanity. It can stabilize their genetic structure in relation to their extreme sensations and emotions, cutting off the newborn souls from Slaanesh by merit of their halfbreed nature and The Emperor's saving grace of human souls under his domain.
It can kickstart the human genome into a full psycher racer with far more defense against demons and the warp.
It can solve the nurgle problem given their longer lifetimes. And the human lifespan could simplify their effect from tzeentch. But making change a necessity but not a massive personal strain or goal. Khorn would lose an entire facet of the galactic war. And the elders are vastly out populated. And if they truly submit to the human empire their culture, technology and legacy can continue in a place of honor that would revive BOTH CIVILIZATIONS. And possibly rebirth the elder gods under the pantheon of the emperor as demigod beings on the scale of primarchs but as warp entities that are more humble and create a warp dimension vanguard against chaos.
They really said your the least awful thing in the galaxy because we agree everything else is worse
Weren't they specifically created for xenocide of the necrons?
I really hope Vashtor embraces his “demonic arms dealer” personality becoming a chaos god but still being untouchable.
I can see the appeal, but it wouldn't really work with the nature of the Great Game the Chaos Gods are playing. They each want to reshape all of reality, Warpspace and Realspace, in their image but none of them is strong enough to seize total dominion against the others.
Vashtorr's position as the keeper of the Forge of Souls worked because it was a specific, limited domain that none of the main 4 could risk falling into the hands of the others, so in effect he was protected by all the gods against each other.
If he wants to expand beyond that then he would be encroaching on what the Big 4 view as theirs, so he either has to jump in power to match them really fast and become an equal player in the Great Game, or he'll be pushed back down to the Forge real quick by the other Chaos Gods.
Iysander: explaining the lore in great detail
Koda: says some absolute nonsense
Iysander: "Exactly"
Iysander: explaining the lore in great detail, some crazy shidd
Koda:
Iysander: I'm not even joking
Koda: makes a joke
"The Aeldar are an endagered species"
The Inquisition: What do you mean endangered there was one right over there before I shot em
The fact that Khorne is a better dad to Angron then the Emperor ever was is both hilarious and incredibly sad.
Here was Angron, once again, moments away from his goal, being beaten to a bloody pulp and nearly killed. And Instead of pulling him out of danger and fucking everything up like the Emperor did, Khorne *STOOD UP* from his throne, placed a hand on his sons shoulder, and *along side him*, slashed away the enemies. Khorne stood along side his boy and attacked what was driving him even crazier then usual, while the emperor ripped Angron away from his friends and family, ruining his reputation and doing nothing about his mental implants.
Khorne is the best chaos daddy confirmed.
I mean, Papa nurgle is objectively the best, but yes, Khoren is really aiming for that dad of the year, mug lol
Emprah tried to remove nails but failed, because reasons. True crime is let Angron alive after that instead to choose painless death juste because Angron was still useful. Kharma backfire.
It instantly made me think of Goku and Gohan against Cell, with the father son kamehameha!
Am I the only one who thinks that Angron would have been the nicest Primarch if not for the Butcher's Nails? (Between him and Vulkan)
Honestly, the big problem with the Horus Heresy books is that a lot of the Imperium character had to been made stupid for the heresy to happen in the first place, nevermind that Angron is literally the only Primarch that didn't conquer his homeworld, or that the Emperor probably should have euthanized Angron by that point.
Not gonna lie i could listen to Isyander talk about lore for months. His voice and storytelling style are great.
I agree, I use these videos as sleep aids cause his voice is so smooth
"Angron is flying in front of the ship screaming at the Choral Engine."
I'm guessing he hasn't heard that in space no one can hear you scream... 😁
He's heard, but since when has he ever cared about things like The Laws Of Physics?
They can hear him!
Da git jus yelled supa, SUPA *LOUD*
7:45 Angron yelling in the gym: "THEY DON'T KNOW ME SON, THEY DON'T KNOW ME SON!!! WHOSE GONNA CARRY THE ASSAULTS AND THE RAMPAGES!?!?"
31:00 Also, the -Gue'vesa- _Humans_ aren't the only warp-sensitive faction the T'au are cohabiting with; even way back in older lore, they had these psychic polar bear faction, that they hid explicitly because they knew the Imperium would just annihilate them. I don't remember their name, something starting with n.
I think that's coco cola
The Nicassar?
Night lords will be a fun one. Ave Dominus Nox.
Nostromo bros we are so back
Ave Dominus Nox brother!
Ave Dominus Nox
Ave Dominus Nox brother!
Ave Dominus Nox, brothers! (I am certainly NOT Alpharius)😊
Tau are great. They are so out of place in the 40k verse, I personally love it. And ofc Farsight is a gigachad!
They've got spirit if lacking any way of using it to help outsiders
(more or less)
You guys have become one of my favorite sources of information on all things warhammer. I love how you two can talk shop while also just vibing. You're both easy on the ears and I appreciate what you're doing.
Now that I'm done buttering you up, more on the Imperial Guard please!
Angron's doing the DBZA Vegeta scream on his way. Also Gray Knights
Since I started this series off saying you gotta cover Farsight (especially after Arks of Omen). I gotta go with the Tau for the poll out of principle.
on your comment about the tau not having a big moment: They are much smaller in scale but their stories are much more character driven than dealing with large over arching wars. So while they might fight over one world that is insignificant to the galaxy at large, it can change the future of their entire faction. They punch well above their weight for how small they are, they are able to scare the Imperium off from wasting recourses concurring them! That is not a small feat.
The Tau are also interesting b/c they're essentially... us - 21st century humans. Species on the rise, optimistic but ignorant of the real horrors of AI/Chaos. 9 times outta 10, a Tau is going to react to something through a lens akin to humans from Halo or Star Trek & that's really neat to see in 40k.
Plus, from a world-building standpoint, it implies that the 42nd millennium is not the "end" of galactic history any more than 65 million years ago was. The cyclical rise & fall of races is ongoing.
Nothing is sounds as scary as an ork in a lab coat
I can't wait to see what they do with Farsight.
Crack pot theory: the chaos gods (specifically the two Isyander mentioned) specifically target Farsight not to absolutely corrupt but to encourage the Tau's inadvertent worship under his leadership. Maybe the Tau is like delicacy or novelty to them. Something that is really difficult to get because of their low connection to the warp, but interesting and potentially delicious.
Edgelords baby, Curze is my fave. They're comically evil and you also have people like Sev, or Kellendvar and Kellenkir. The glimpses you get into their childhoods on Nostramo is so horrifying. A life of murder, fear and cannibalism as a young child will fuck anyone up.
Aw man, I’d love to see all of the options! Though I gotta say, Tau and Tyranids are my favorite
Really curious about the Tau. They seem to get talked about the least compared to other factions
That's because there just isn't much to talk about. And that's coming from a fan
They are a small faction that the edgelords hate
Sadly this leads to them being ignored in favor of “let’s talk about the demonvulaba for the 1009999999999th time”
Omg when Koda says “they’re milk for the Khorne flakes” I f*cken dieeed😂😂
My top vote is for Tyrannids. Love a good hive mind out here just doing it's thing
Tyranids are my favorite, so ied love some really in depth nid love
I would love for a grey knights walk through and hearing you explain Kaldor Draigo's shenanigans in the warp
Grey Knights After Dune would be cool.
Everyone was firing into Angron in like “use your biggest rounds, use your smallest rounds, every lasgun. Hell, I’ll settle for that BB gun you brought from home. Don’t know why you brought it, but fire it.”
All I imagine is people firing toy weapons at angron
@@daisyjoy242 Just the guardsmen all running out of ammo and switching to foam guns shouting “NERF or nothing” along with banishment rites.
wait only half a hour?boys we have to call a waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh on koda and isyander for this short episode
8 weeks and 8 days add up to 64 (8x8) days. 8x8 days and 8 hours makes perfect sense for Khorne.
I want to hear more about the tyranids. I’ve heard a lot of about them in your other videoed and I love ever evolving creatures.
You guys have done a brilliant job at these. The way it's executed, the calls to action, the set up, the visual representation, and very well edited short form content. This channel will grow without a doubt and I look forward to seeing how this channel grows.
Tau please! I remember a cliffhanger about Death Guard vs Tau that Wolf Lore Rho covered, I'd *love* to hear about an update on that storyline.
I'd love to hear you talking about the Night Lords!
came across ur guys content with the shorts found on tiktok, an LOVE how u guys describe everything and how relaxing ur voices are. it's so nice to relax too :)
20:59 you know what this has to be my favorite part of the video.
Also with the Tau Ethereal's they are potentially suppressing normal Tau and collating and focussing the psychic presence potentially.
Honestly, I love hearing you guys talk, it's so relaxing that I put you guys on whenever I'm drawing anything or cooking. It would be neat to hear you guys talk about chaos knights or factions that have defected from the imperium as that tends to be where the most interesting bits of lore tend to come from.
31:00 If I'm remembering this correctly, there was a story where some tau got into the warp and saw their greater-good-god face to face as it saved their hides, and one of the characters made a comment about how it kinda looks like how humans interpret the greater good not as a philosophy or way of life but as a deity like the emperor.
Using the exercise analogy this is what I envisioned(please don't crucify me if this is heretical)
Most traitor primarchs: light calisthenics maybe some weight lifting (as a treat)
Angron: is actively eating the gym while breaking prs as a warm up while screaming the entire time
Abbadon recruits chaos people like a heist movie. Hey dude, join our chaos undivided. You sunovabeach, I'm in.
I swear everytime I watch one of your guys videos I gotta go back and binge a bunch more! Keep it up! Can’t wait to hear you guys talk about dune
I would like to see a lore video about the tyranids!
Months after this episode was released, I'm now listening and UNDERSTANDING SO MUCH random internet content that was previously just noise.
I'd love to see tyranids. I'd love to hear your take on the genestealer cults
bruh you two are like those wrestler comentators just for WH40. love ya channel
I'm loving all of this. This is the first time I've really been able to comprehend the 40k lore.
The Ork Doktor: WEZ PRAKTISIN MEDISIN NOW BOYZ!
My vote is for Tao, but quick question: I’ve been hearing little tidbits about the so called “Leagues of Votaan,” I was wondering if you plan on covering our mutant cousins of norse flavored stone and steel?
DIGGY DIGGY HOLE
Lets go Night lords!
I would love to see a lore vid on the grey knights or the tau
Loooovvvved this recap. Thank you so so much
Thank you for the MechAssault reference
My temptation to buy that Patreon grows by the video. Each and every single one I watch makes the struggle for my wallet harder.
PAISE BE TO THE MACHINE GODS! Bless this entry to your great archive so that all may see its glory!
I would love to see an episode about the Salamanders and to see Vulkan return that would be Awesome
I had so much nostalgia for Mechassault 1 and 2 that even 10 years later I actually reorder the 2nd one on eBay and played it on my 360. Good times ! I’m 24 now.
Voting for tau this go around. Would love to see a video on the aeldari too!
And thus completes my binge tonight
Iysander out here dropping ASOIAF references 'sweet summer child'
I'm partial to the Tyanids and the Tau.
Gotta vote for the Tau, they're such an interesting faction that really reframes the Imperium!
Same the tau are a cool Is faction
The mech assault 2 joke caught me off guard so badly I had an auditory double take in my head. Loved those Xbox games.
Pog Mechassault reference. I loved that game
Tyranids give my space locust some love
An episode on grey knights would definitely hit the spot
That is exactly the back burner project I hoped to see
Alaska for Gray Knights, army my brother picked so I couldn't
Recently found the channel and its my new guilty pleasure. Thanks guys
19:58 so basically it's "Meet the Medic" from TF2, but with Orks. Love it.
Khorne straight up just playing catch with his favourite son before letting him take a nap.
I like when you put channel goals in your videos and watching them get smashed good job.
Yarrick should re-emerge at the head of a Loyalist remnant fleet that is dedicated to Khorne but still completely loyal to the Imperium... That would be so metal... Daemon Prince Yarrick at the head of a traitor Guard Legion and Daemon Engines full on dedicated to Khorne yet fighting for the Imperium...Blood for the Blood Throne, convinced that Big E is actually an aspect of Khorne sacrificing thousands of psykers to him each and every day to fuel the Imperial war machine...oh yeah, Khorne actually loves that guy.
Love the mech assault reference. Keep upnthe good work you two. These videos have been my hyperfocus for the past month
Your shorts brought me here. Your love for the lore has me staying. GJ
GAUNTS GHOSTS! Two parter please lol Yall are awesome
Nids for sure would be awesome
Really Koda. 😂 the "package" in the credit roll had me dying
Tyranids, The Tau and grey Knights!
Always knowing where the Eiffel Tower is, and its screaming Skrillix. Hahahahahah Oh yeah, I'm siding with Angron.
Man, Chaos is just catching all the W's.
Also, I got the Mech Assault reference.
The expressions on you guys are great. "Ork in a white lab coat" *DEATH STARE into camera.
"I declare a Plague War.." - Koda the Lyricist
Every night I watch a episode . Great job 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Isyander talking about the lab coat ork has the face of someone so THOROUGHLY DONE with the setting
Orks would just say more dakka. But mad respect to the inquisition lady who kept praying while dying.
Def tau. We havent heard nearly anything about them from yall yet and id love to see them expanded on
Love the content, keep up the good work! 👍
"with the destruction vessel nearly complete. Black jade. Very difficult to come by... thank you angron.. it will... make your control that... much easier"
~ Vashtor
An in depth on genestealer cults might be interesting considering they found one on terra itself … they were snuffed out quickly by they have been known to hold nearly entire systems
"Hold" isn't really the right word for what GSC's do IMO, "prepare" would fit better, or perhaps "tenderise", maybe even "marinade" 😂 The Four-Armed Emperor hungers!
Would love to learn more about the tyranids.
Imagine if angron thanks khorne for his help and khorne just goes “what are you talking about? I’ve been here the whole time.”
My de facto favorite 40K content. Keep up the good work!!!
Tau, if you please, that's my vote :D
An Ork in a lab coat also told me to write MALCADOR on every one of your 40k vids to get an episode
My vote goes to the Tyrannids, I love those bugs.
The Tau are small on a galactic scale, but they have been punching way above their weight. At least partially because they technologically advanced by leaps and bounds within the space of something like 2000 earth years from primitive barely above unga bunga, to what they are now
You never got to how the Necron are possibly waking up 😢
15:55 lmao yes a MechAssult reference
I kinda wanna see the tyrannids and the tao
Much love guys, keep up the S+ tier work!
i could see the next primarchs to come back are going to be 2 at once or 1 and a faction getting a re-up in activity. either it could be the return of Dorn if all this shit with Vashtorr is going where i think its going i think we probably gunna see peter turbo show up and be like yeah this is the one daemon i vibe with(or plot twist peter turbo removed all his fleshy bits 100% became a man of iron effectively and his soul turned into Vashtorr and the style of Vashtorr is...very reminiscent of perty raveo. Vashtorr be pretty petty about not being a full god despite his abilities and his feats, also hes dismissive of all his followers and people he works with he just views them all as tools.) Dorn coming back makes sense as it would kind of fill the trifecta of what the imperium needs, Rowboat girlyman for logistics, Kitty cat Treekid for attack, and Adornable for defense. The other primarch back i could see is King Khan and a revamp of the dark eldar. I guess maybe the return of Lore Gar with Raven Raven man could also happen.
Getting Russ or Dorn back would be huge. Sangy would probably be too much (and he is dead dead oc)
The Eiffel Tower gag made me spit out my morning bagel. Good job.
Love this form of 40k exploration
I'm hoping the Tau are kind of like a non-newtonian fluid. They look weak, but the harder you hit them, the harder it becomes to gain ground against them.
When the imperium threw some titans at the tau, they responded by strapping railguns to ships and destroying them from far away lol
