This is a wonderful show made in Japan in 1977 featuring The Four Freshmen's Group 5: Bob Flanigan, Ray Brown, Ross Barbour, and Ken Albers. Very special thanks goes to Yas Ichiura, the Japanese Representative to the Four Freshmen Society, for finding this gem of Fresh history

They were simply amazing. Bob Flanigan was a good friend of mine. We shared the stage at The Top of the Dunes for a number of weeks. They went on at 10 and I did a show at 2:00 am. If you dig this, check out the current Freshman. Bob would be really thrilled with these guys!

I caught the guys with Ray Brown on keyboard and they were great - it was near Santa Barbara In the 70's.

@kaunasprince The horn play is Ken Albers. The other, left to right are : Ray Brown, Ross Barbour, Bob Flanagan. Ken passed away a few years ago, and Bob just passed away this year.
