Well I'm here for the same reason 😅 I was thinking of adding the extra cm to every side of the pattern. Since this cap is 55cm diameter head, just to add +7cm to make it to 62. Am I right? 🤔
Thanks for your clear and concise tutorial. I don't understand why I start out with the fabric cut perfectly & end up with a hat that's to big. I measured.. perfect. Does the fabric stretch?? Drives me crazy. This is not the 1st hat that it has happened with. Can someone please explain why??

Great throwback hat! In the early 70’s, I made scads of these from recycled jeans! Used the pockets, rivets and logo tags. They were awesome 😎
