@@rickstechrepairs let me ask you… i currently use apple, but i changed over because samsung decided to go sd card less. Now we know apple privacy is better then google based phones. Would recommend getting the s22 because there is alot of features with android that i miss using apple
i find when people have used either apple or android for years, when they swap they are normally disappointed with the new device since its too new and everything feels odd
What's the metal thing you used to open it? What did you put on it? I'm desperate to do this as the repair to a cracked screen costs as much as the phone
@rickstechrepairs I appreciate it. I figured I can practice on my old s9. I plan to watch as many videos as I can first, repair a couple of phones on my house, and if successful, give it a shot. Still cheaper to buy a new phone than pay someone to fix a cracked screen
I've followed this exactly... Twice.. But the camera isn't working now. App opens and photo options are there but it's a black screen. When I try select options or take a photo the app closes with 'Camera Fail'. Any advice here?
Coz the customer doesn't know what is messed with, sorry to say but working on phone more than 500$ quality of work is so important, you should've change the back glass IP68 adhesive, and i am not sure for the pressure on rubber gasket of top microphone coz a small plastic corner was broken. Camera didn't checked for any dust or moisture, directly applied. I wish i am wrong everywhere. RIP IP68
Thats a smart idea, making a template of phone layout, well done👍
Cheers

Do you recycle side buttons? Don't you usually replace it with a new one?
Must be a cost cutting measure by Samsung with these COVID times
