Just wanted to say that I just bought a 77 Camaro and after searching around and finding your channel, I feel a lot more confident in working on it! Keep up the good work brother
Thank you so much! It’s not super hard but it’s a lot of work. The main thing is, take pictures and LOTS of them and label every single thing. Even if you think you will remember where everything goes, you might forget later.. Ask me how I know lol
Looking good. Project has come a long way!
Thank you!
Good video.. thanks for posting
.. 👍
Thank you
Glad to see you're back. Safety First! Man, things go sideways very quick. Glad you didn't get hurt! Dam, I thought you were going to dent the door when the driveshaft fell.
I know. I was actually more worried about hurting the driveshaft or messing up the brand new u joints. It’s been so crazy here I have been working on a rental property of my father in laws, going camping and just life in general. Hoping things will slow down here in the next 6 months. Then I should hopefully be looking for another project or get more content out there.
Slowly and steadily being completed👍
It’s getting there. Next thing is my power steering. The pulley kit I have for the belts is not lining up and I keep throwing the belt. So gotta work on that.
What happened? What hit you in the face? I could not see in the video. Glad you are ok though!
Lol when heating those up, there is a rubber seal in there and it exploded. When it did, the grease that was burning hot hit my face. I’m all good. Just shocked and freaked out a bit. Took me by surprise that is for sure. Did all the others and it didn’t happen at all. I would assume that when the seal got hit it melted to the cap and also the u joint which created a seal and then the heat ended up popping it.
Brand new used. Should of done the overdrive transmission swap the same time as the torque converter and U-joint replacement.
If I had one I would have. But all good

You tell the wife how it will pay for itself with the gas it would save. 😁
