Looks like you had a good day at Apache overall. I haven't been there for years so nice to see it through your video. I'm newer at bass fishing and get skunked a lot, but still fun to get out. Thanks for sharing.
You're very welcome and thanks for watching. This was actually one of the more pedestrian days I've had at Apache. I expect fishing to get a lot better soon. I've been bass fishing for just over two years now. The first year was up and down. I learned a lot though and the 2nd year was so much better (but still learning). Hang in there!
I’ve heard some awesome things about Apache but haven’t had the chance to fish it. Awesome stuff! By the way me and a couple other AZ fishing UA-camrs are hosting a fishing get together October 27th at Papago park from 8am-12pm. We’re inviting all channels big and small to come out! Would love to have you there 🤙
I had a so so day there this weekend. Did manage to snag two 3lbers and a few 2lb. But the bite was definitely tougher. My go to spots didn’t produce like they had the past. Seems to be a lot of moss everywhere also.
@@flipflopfishingAZ Sunday morning we were up at the bunk house tarping the roof with some misprinted Chik Fil A billboards. Went back down the the beach around noon to fish for while before heading home.
@@flipflopfishingAZ No I haven't, I bought a house this summer so it's been keeping me busy between that and work. I've fished like 3 times this summer, but nothing worth posting unfortunately. I'll be back soon. Going to start testing out Soft Bait Lure making this winter! Keep it up, your content is always fire!🔥
@@stacenhartland9777 It's a great lake for sure. 3 Mile Wash was still closed when I was there last a couple weeks ago. Hoping they open it up soon. Been closed quite awhile now.
Such a relaxing video to watch. Could you offer some advice for a first time kayaker? Like i just got one and for now ill only be using a paddle and ive been watching videos from apache lake for kayak fishing. Would you recommend apache lake for a paddler or does it seem like alot to go through that route you went through?
@@mariolaureano8154 Hi, and thanks! You can definitely do Apache in a paddle kayak. You can start fishing almost right away from any of the common launch points. First time I recommend Upper Burnt Corral. Park and launch on the shoreline and paddle upriver towards the dam. I've caught tons of fish on that stretch.
Couple Questions if i may, 1. Is going to burnt coral much farther and is it self explanatory how to get there? Been years since been to apache and i never fished it 2. How much was your entire FFS setup. Thanks
@@Woefman911 Burnt Corrall is well marked. It's the 1st and 2nd roads you'll come to off the main road. 1st road leads to beach access. The 2nd road has the boat ramp. The marina is much further down the main road, another 10-15mins at least, also well-marked. Google Maps is helpful if you've never been. FFS was about $2500.
Today, Mike has marked himself Safe from any donkey attacks 😆🤣
@@maxcoatlhunter4322 😆 😆 😆 😆 Let's hope so! Thanks for the laugh!
Thank you Mike for given me a great fishing video on Apache. I have never fish there yet. After you video I might want to give out there next week.
@@Yu159753 You are very welcome, my friend. Good luck when you make it out there!

@@Epicjfp Sound like a decent enough day. I was there today. Big ones still deep. Maybe another week or two for them to move up shallow.
I really enjoy your content, top notch video and pro fishing
Thank you! I enjoy your comments. 😃
I was camped at Crabtree wash this past weekend. Alternating between fishing and riding. The panfishing at that beach is ridiculous. It's just loaded.
Hmm, I was there Sunday. They're super-active right now. I caught a sunfish or two myself. Love that place!
