- We are on Amtrak Train 11, the Coast Starlight to Los Angeles, as we take a ride from Seattle King Street Station towards Oakland Jack London. We start at King Street Station, where we see the head end of the train, then walk down the platform until encountering the conductor, who asked me to get on board, as the train was leaving within the next few minutes. Once on board, we see my roomette, and see outside as we depart from Tacoma. The next scene has us walking through the entire train, from front to back. The first car is a Viewliner baggage car, so we start in the Superliner I passenger/crew sleeper car instead. We then make our way through the other sleeper cars, the diner, business class, the lounge/cafe, and the coaches, before reaching the end of the train; 12 cars in all including the baggage car. We see Bridge 14 in West Tacoma, as well as the old Steilacoom station. The last scene is crossing the Willamette River on Steel Bridge, then running through all of the grade crossings, passing the SP 4449 heritage museum, and ending up just beyond UP's Brooklyn Yard. Enjoy the view of the inside of the train, as well as outside. Our train is being pulled by Genesis P42DC's 199 and 138. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The videos were taken on December 28th, 2019.
