FFXI Returning Players Guide: Geas Fete NM System

- In this video I explain the basics of Geas Fete in FFXI. The Geas Fete NM system is an endgame activity which allows you to pop high level notorious monsters in Escha Zi'Tah, Escha Ru'Aun and Reisenjima. The NMs each give Vorseals upon defeat which power you up while in the Escha zones and Reisenjima. They also drop 119 armor and weapons as well as accessories. In addition you must defeat all of them to obtain an Aeonic weapon, which makes them a very relevant endgame activity.

This a fun grind. Yeah a loss here and there but it's not 15k of anything to get 1/105 theirs so yeah. Investors friends or make some new ones. Learn and enjoy together. I'm only on the Ru ann set now but I already. Met a new buddy who was just around and offered to help my friends and me. A great hour spent with great people!!
Are all the Tier 1 Escha Zitah NMs easily beaten solo using 119 bayld gear and trusts? If so, how far up the Tiers can you go solo?
@@tdizzlegames2070 Yea since that post I've taken on some of those T1 fights and there are a few that give me a hard time, need good jobs set up for sure.
Question what jobs are needed to get this done? Can someone do these successfully using plus 2 ambuscade armors? 👍
Relic, mystic, aeonic, etc weapons. Which are the easiest to obtain nowadays? And which would be the best?
Relic is easiest to obtain solo or lowman. Aeonic is easiest if you have a high end linkshell to do it with. Best is harder to answer, because it will depend on job and situation. Which job are you planning to make a weapon for?

I didn't have plans to do it soon but I do want to level it at some point.
Were you able to get an aeonic weapon by yourself or did friends help you?
You cant get Aeonic by yourself. You need party and/or alliance to beat some NMs.
I did it with pick up groups for some of the higher level Escha Ru'Aun and Reisenjima NMs

I have a genuine question : why don't you WS at 1000 TP?
Either because I am trying to get aftermath from a REMA weaponskill or because I'm distracted lol
