My goodness! I'm crying, I've been watching the vlogs for a while now, I'm from Chile but I moved to Delaware 9 years ago. This is the second time I see a Chile related vlog but this one hit me hard! VIVA CHILE 🇨🇱!! Blessings!♥️

I can see how Abbie eating so fast can be such a hard task to manage while you’re trying to eat yourself ! I’m excited to see her progress in slowing down her eating habits !
Unfortunately everything can't help everybody. I really wished it would have worked! Back to the drawing board. I always get nervous seeing Nonverbal individuals go on new medications, you have to have someone around them who really understands the way they communicate to make sure they're okay. I'm glad Abbie is in GREAT hands, and hearts!!
Too true! Non-verbal is so difficult, I was deciding between THC and anti-psychotics and the issue was excessive tummy gas so neither applied. Pretty sure these parents are hyper-vigilant. A psychologist, a quiet space, a bell for pain, simple sign for leave me alone have so far negated the need for drugs.
I had the shoveling food issue with my son when he was younger. We taught him to count to 10 between bites. Gradually he learned to pace himself. You all are doing a great job with Abbey. Blessings.

@@BonisVlogs hello! wouldn't more thc cause more anxiety because of the high effect? Wouldn't a 1 to 20 thc to cbd ratio be better? I could quite possibly be wrong because I am not sure how cannabanoids react to people with autism. Im just wondering why you say 1/1 would be best? I have used some 1/1 tinctures before and I have had pannic attacks from them. Just curious!
Hello Priscilla I was just wondering if you are ever going to make a cook book with all of your favorite recipes that you make on pots pans and Priscilla and sell it to all of your UA-cam fans.

Its so crazy too because I smoke thc for my anxiety and I've never felt anything from any cbd I've taken unless I would take it in the form of an edible and smoke thc. It's strange.

My favorite part about watching your video’s is that Abbie is doing her thing in the background or of camera. Your family has become so use to her behavior where it does not effect your day to day tasks (within reason of course). You guys care and raise your beautiful daughter, raise and take care for Isaiah, you guys goto working, do your house chores, and at the end of the day you are being like a normal family would be. To me a loving family is… Caring, Trustworthy, demanding on each other, and most of loving each and every person in the family for who they are. On your next trip to Minneapolis I would love to meet Abigail and your family. I hope you guys are having a great Summer.
This video, in particular meal time, was an eye-opener for me and my son. Thank you SO much for sharing your every days. It means so much to so many of us!
She’s like every other teenager loves food!! Abby is sooo blessed with such amazing family!! I always say this when I see amazing parents that I hope my husband and I are just as good as all of y’all!! God bless y’all!!! Y’all are freaking amazing!!!
I'm in the group whole plant access 4 autism support on Facebook. There's a ton of information there. For Autism, dosing too low can cause agitation. But unfortunately it can really be a guessing game. We use CW Advanced. 2 doses a day are our sweet spot. My non verbal kiddo had a language explosion. But it's not a miracle by any means and he's not just speaking sentences suddenly, it's the occasional word. He is pretty chill now and able to focus. But it can be pretty trial and error. Speech and occupational therapy go a long way. I wish we had ABA therapy because that would make a world of difference. Good job Abby! I love the shirts too! And LOL at working from home "peaceful environment"... thank you for another informative video.
Fab Autism MoM Vlogs no problem! CBD oil is from marijuana but doesn't contain the thc that gets you high. Some people do require a tiny amount of thc though. It's really trial and error, hasn't been studied enough, and it's hard to find what works. I don't blame them for stopping. I hesitated to try because I don't want my son to be a guinea pig but I heard so many great things about it why not.
Hi. Thanks for sharing! Are you giving 2 dropper fills 2x per day? We just purchased the mint flavor CW Advanced and was confused about dosing. Our son has just started having aggressive behaviors and was wondering would this help.
My Son also struggles with “manic eating” it’s scary & frustrating. He has meltdowns at times if we try to regulate like you did. So, I give him half portions at a time. That seems to help him realize to eat slowly & chew thoroughly and then he can have the second half of his meal.
Congrats on the weight loss, Asa! Some of your older videos popped up in my recommend feed recently, and you can really see the difference from last year!
Tart cherry juice may help Abi sleep. My toddler is so sensitive he is unable to tolerate supplements. Real whole foods is what we incorporate to help. The best part, less chance of side effects. Unless of course one is allergic to cherries that would be a bad side affect.
Hydro Fire I'm glad that your son doesn't have side effects from the cherry juice. Unfortunately, if anything can have a positive effect, it can also have a negative effect.
Laynie Fingers yes of course you are correct, someone can always be allergic and that would definitely be bad. Thank you for reminding me anything can cause negative effects. I corrected my comment as well 💖
I’m proud of y’all for trying the CBD oil. You are such an inspiration with putting her needs first, trying to figure out what works best for her. Each kiddo is an individual and what works for some, won’t work for others. Thanks for sharing your true journey with us!

I want to hug her, every time I watch her lol. And not out of pity, just bc she's so sweet and gentle. You all are incredibly inspiring and binge worthy
I am on the Autism Spectrum. I will be trying CBD and small THC doses when it is legalized in Canada later this month. I have alot of chronic pain as well, so ghat is one of the main reasons, but I hope it also eases my social anxiety, and calms my reaction to some sensory. So here’s my two cents as far as strictly CBD and Autism go, CBD is only one of the cannabinoids in the plant....and honestly it’s known for helping with inflammation, autoimmune issues and can(and I stress can) help with anxiety. Other cannabinoids like CBG and CBN are what really helps those with Autism. Unfortunately right now, those two cannabinoids are not isolated and sold like CBD is....the only way to get them is through specific strains on medical marijuana grown to contain high levels of CBN and CBG. Another thing with CBD is all brands are not equal, their are just so many variables and unlike medical marijuana that a Dr prescribed and assists with choosing the appropriate strain, you are kinda on your own with CBD. Lol can you tell how much time I’ve spent researching this. The medicinal value of CBD is great, just not so much with the particular issues Abbie faces due to autism.
Ardysangel thats not how it works. CBD is great for autism, but it really depends on the concentration. It inhibits the parts of the brain that make you anxious. It does the total opposite of thc, so for hiperactive children, it could be great.
Dilaisy Rodriguez that’s not been our experience with it at all, that said everybody processes things differently and what we have found is that CBD alone doesn’t really help with autism.....now as far as it working for hyperactivity, that’s a totally different thing!
Oh my goodness. I just love her so much. You guys are doing an amazing job. I use to work with children with disabilities including those that were Autistic. I've never met anyone as high functioning as she is at her age. You guys are an amazing, wonderful family. I know you have no choice but to do everything you can to make her life easy because she's your daughter and there's nothing like that love, but you need to be told to keep up the great work. Many parents do not want to take the time to help their children as much as you do.
whenever you tell abbie to slow down from eating she looks at you probably thinking "what the heck I want to eat" haha. I laugh everything she looks at you when you do that.
I was thinking the same thing. She just looks at him with that teenage seriously look. Also, coming from someone who has a life long disability laughing is fine when it’s not done in a mocking way. The truth is as humans we all have something that we do that’s funny regardless of disability. It makes me so happy that even though she has to work her way through her autism she’s still able to experience the typical teenage attitude stage because that tends to be a part of our life that does teach us the discipline we need much later in life.
I love seeing how invested you as parents are in learning/teaching about your child's condition. I have a friend whose sister has Rett's syndrome, and her parents pretty much ignore her and just let her watch tv all day every day, just because she can't talk.... it's heartbreaking 😔
Awesome shirts. Loved that Summer dressed up as Isaiah for opening of the mail. You guys got some super cool stuff. Love you guys keep up the awesome job
I am so jealous of Abbie's appetite. My 8 year old autistic son has to bribed and constantly nudged to even take a bite of something. Consider it to be a blessing to have a kid with an appetite
Over the 4th of July we had TONS of family come in town. We haven't had one family here in a while because they have a son on the spectrum and he doesn't deal with large crowds and new people very well. It's been over 10 years since they brought him with them and after watching you guys with Abbie I realize how much of a task it is for them and it was easier for me to chat with him and try to help incorporate him in things. He is verbal and read every movie poster in my Uncle's basement and started reciting every detail to everyone, so he enjoyed me asking questions. We attempted to have him play corn hole, which took a while because he stims with his stuffed animal and talks to it to calm down but we got to 10 points! lol I just wanted to let you know that watching you guys with Abbie really helped me understand and help with him while he was in town. I just love watching your family. :)
She looks like she wants more of what she finished, a similar sign came from my son. Now he speaks about his signs and what they were. You guys are great 💫💫💫
I think when something works well for someone, they want it to work for everyone. Bodies are weird, though, and people can react so differently. I fight with a lot of insomnia with my fibromyalgia, and I've tried melatonin multiple times. Not only does it not make me sleep, it makes me so anxious that it intensifies the insomnia. It doesn't mean that melatonin doesn't work, it just means it doesn't work for me.
You poor man. I'm sure the last thing you wanna do when your hungry is hover over your daughters food making sure she eats right. It must be so frustrating. You have the patience of a saint.
When I saw you open my letter I had to wake my husband up to play that part over and over. Pricilla, I hope you enjoy the letter and know how much of an inspiration you are! Keep on keeping on- kristi owens
I love how she is so calm when you were having her slow down. My ASD son over stuffs his mouth always and chokes a lot, if we do this he yells, hits us, hits his thighs, and throw himself on the floor. We have to do smaller portions so he won't choke.
Everyone swears on melatonin for their kids but it doesn't phase my son either. Also we've tried cbd it hasnt done much of a difference but I'm glad it helps for some autistic people
Your family has taught me alot about Autism. my granddaughter has Sensory Processing disorder and autism. she is going ti be 2 years old next month. So we noy sure if she will be non verbal or verbal. its alot to learn with episodes and stimming. Thank you so much

Lol I’ve always eaten like that since I was little 😬😂
I’m fine...
yeah she first look at him like 'what's your problem' but then after few bites like 'ooo you want me to slow down...' :)
She is great !
I love seeing how invested you as parents are in learning/teaching about your child's condition. I have a friend whose sister has Rett's syndrome, and her parents pretty much ignore her and just let her watch tv all day every day, just because she can't talk.... it's heartbreaking 😔
Oh my poor baby Abbie she is trying so hard precious angel. It’s so hard to understand taking a break between bites I get that ❤️
Abby does so well with her fork....she takes your direction very well too.
15:32 the face of success! Lol! She was so happy to find candy.
Sounded like Abigail said “eat” independently at 13:30 😮
I haven’t been to this channel in awhile, and I am BLOWN away with how awesome Abby has been doing! I am so amazed!
I loved playing with slinkys when i was a kid. Ya'll are awesome. I like watching you guys.
Lavender spray or candles are said to calm people. Maybe when she gets to frustrated try that. It's worth a try.
I've found an oil based roll on lavender base foot rub for children and kids with things like autism works great!
dad is so patient with Abbie so is Priscilla And Isaiah
You both are such good parents! 💜💗💜💜
How can you actually trust the food you get in the mail ? So easily for someone to poison . But I'm very glad to see her this excited 💕
Awesome shirts. Loved that Summer dressed up as Isaiah for opening of the mail. You guys got some super cool stuff. Love you guys keep up the awesome job
I love Abbie dancing with her mom
Watched some old videos today and you can for sure see the weight loss. Good job guys, keep it up! 😊 👏🏻 🎉
she's sweet, and so are you guys.....
Abbie gets so excited at mailtime....it's a joy to watch.....😂😂Summer dressed as ASA....love it...😂😂😂
I can only dream of having a relationship like you two do!!
" it walks down stairs alone or in pairs everyone knows it's slinky"🎶 🤣
Gotta love Abb, she said “thank you”, “cookie”!! 😂😂😂
Abbie is OUR Cookie Monster!
Abbie love you girl God bless you and your family
Also we've tried cbd it hasnt done much of a difference but I'm glad it helps for some autistic people
Ashlyn Richardsons Yea, melatonin actually made me super anxious and increased my insomnia. Bodies are weird. 😒
melatonin is naturally occurring in the body so i think it’s quite strange that it made your insomnia worse..
ha lee Strange? Sure, my body reacts strangely to quite a few things. Whatever the reason, though, melatonin is not something that works for me.
Melatonin has been a miracle for my asd toddler
Your family has taught me alot about Autism. my granddaughter has Sensory Processing disorder and autism. she is going ti be 2 years old next month. So we noy sure if she will be non verbal or verbal. its alot to learn with episodes and stimming. Thank you so much
We had the same response to CBD and THC! I was hoping it was going to be our miracle drug!
Its amazing how much going abroad for a week can change one's looks!
Happy 4th July Maass family from your friends on the other side of the pond 🇺🇸🇬🇧
Honestly though she does a very good job feeding herself, I’ve seen adults messier and worse with a fork than Ab! Haha love that sweet smile!
Y'all are amazing parents!
Lookin good Daddy!
I giggled when Priscilla said something about Abbie's reputation at the restaurant lol
You guys ARE THE BEST AND I LOVE HOW GR8 OF A JOB YOU GUYS DO AS PARENTS AND HOW GR8 OF A JOB YOUR SON DOES WITH BABY SIS AND IN GENERAL!!!!
PLEASE KEEP UP THE GR8 WORK AND NEVER CHANGE UNLESS IT IS 4 THE BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
