The improvised interlude is so authentically beautiful. Lovely band.

Daniel can have such a big sound with his guitar. Lauren has got the perfect voice for it. Daniel sounds like Ben Gibbard at times (and very unlike him at other times), and Lauren has hints of Emily Haines! I had a conversation about Lowland's Hum with my girlfriend. They could easily go mainstream if they want to take out all the character sounds in the middle and have Daniel as a secondary singer to Lauren (with a big label of course). BUT, that's just what you /shouldn't/ do. No need to change if you want to make great music - you're doing just that honestly and sincerely. Unfortunately they don't always intertwine but maybe mainstream isn't ready for the real you just yet, as you have a very forward evolution of that slowed-down melancholy pop-rock that was during the aforementioned artist's reign.

I remember seeing them when they performed at Waldo's in Gettysburg!
