Please watch in HD with a full screen. ;)
Editing something with a relative small to non-existent fanbase? Swooning over characters that are not the mainstream and getting all emotional with it? Sign me up. No regrets.
As much as I adore the movie (straight up adaption as it should be), I wished the movie would have mentioned Schmendrick's background story as well. Instead of being a comic relief, Schmendrick is probably the most depthful character with him being cursed with immortality until he finally becomes a real wizard and him being bitter about it, and also first being envious of Molly being able to connect more with the unicorn. Before this marvellous fool finally gets it all and also falls in love with the absolute badass that is Molly Grue.
Now to Molly - absolute legend. The whole "Where have you been?" scene has its own fanbase but let me tell you that I FELT this scene even as a kid and my adoration for Molly joining the quest and, despite all that happened to her, still discovers a world of true magic for herself and gets what she always dreamed goes on and on. For real, in the end she can go on real adventures and has a full blown magician at her disposal who adores her. Goals. (And a powerfull magician at that. Schmendrick in "Two Hearts"? That man is a MENACE - now that he has powers.)
But enough of my swooning. Here I want to start apologizing because I just don't feel like this edit turned out as great as I wanted it to be. I just really wanted to create something new (I also have too many edits in the waiting with other fancasts or original ideas) but the scenes of the actors made it so difficult to merge because of the coloring and other things. But I just liked this fancast so much because they really gave the vibes to the characters and I just had to express my love for this story in general. So, I hope those who discover this will still like it. :D

The way I gasped when I saw the title in my subscriptions. This movie has been close to my heart since I was very young, and by the end of the edit, I was crying. Thank you for making this. One day we’ll get a live action!

OMG, thank you so much! I haven't expected such a soon feedback to this - and such a joyful one to read through! Thank you! 💜💜💜
I also hold this story close to my heart because I just love it so much and the movie is such an intense experience everytime. A live action would be great! I'm always wary when it comes to adaptations nowadays but I'd be sooo excited to see one for this story. 😁
Thanks again for leaving a comment! I was smiling from ear to ear when I read this. 🥰

Oh, I got so excited, when I saw that you created a new fancast video! I adore your fancast videos, I always did, and this is no exception! This is amazing, and so beautiful! And I don't know the movie/book, but it looks interesting! The actors seem to fit, even if I have no idea about the characters, but somehow I still see them work in this role! And wow, the masking, when she's touching his face! It looks very real! And the scene with the fire! That was one of my fave scene throughout the edit!
I just really love the vibes and everything!
Also, as you know, I love Ava Max, and this song of hers is really amazing, one of my faves!
And seeing those scenes I got really curious about the source materials of the two actors. Of course I know that there was at least one scene from F*ntastic B*asts (I don't think, it was nessecary to write it this way, but better to be sure if one writes a title of something), but I wonder what Eddie's other scenes came from?
And the actress, I know, that I have seen her, but right I don't know where.
Either way, this is a fantastic edit, as we could get used to it, by you! I will watch it again for sure!

Awww, thank you so very much! I'm so happy that you enjoyed it! I was kinda nervous to post this due to the fact that I never worked with a mixture of live-action and bits from an animated movie. So, I'm very happy to read that you find it convincing! 💜🥰💜
And I'm happy to read you like the song choice because I know you like a lot songs by Ava Max as well. This song in particular got stuck in my head ever since I heard the version without the rap parts in it. 🤭
Aw, so glad to read you liked the manip with her touching his face. In all honesty, I am anything than content with the manip's result but it makes me immensely happy to read you liked it! So, thanks for mentioning that and the part with the fire! 🤩
I used clips from the following shows/movies with Redmayne:
      - Fantastic Beasts (as you realized)
      - The Pillars of the Earth (mainly)
      - Les Misérables
      - The Other Boleyn Girl
      - Elizabeth: The Golden Age
I actually cut scenes from "The Aeronauts" as well but they somehow did not make it into this in any way
Here is the list with the movies including Poots, maybe you remember if you have seen her in any of those:
      - Centurion (mainly)
      - 28 Weeks Later
      - Fright Night
      - Miss Austen Regrets
      - Frank & Lola
      - Bouquet Of Barbet Wire
Thanks again for this wonderful comment! It's always such a joy reading through your reviews! Thank you, hun! 💜💝💜💝

      @@DarkEleni You're welcome! 😊
And same, I also prefer the version without the rap parts. 😅
And you really don't have to be not content with the manip, because it looks VERY real! ☺ I almost thought for a moment, it was a real scene, but then I thought, probably not, because it's rare that fancast actors appear in the same thing.
And thank you so much for listin the shows/movies.
What I find weird, that I saw The other Boleyn girl at least twice, and I can't remember Redmayne in it. I suppose he had a rather smaller role, because I remember many things from that movie. I really can't remember him, and idk why. 😅
But have to tell you, I REALLY love this movie. 😊
About Poots, I don't recognize these movies, but sometimes the English title is different from the Hungarian, so I will check again.
And I will look up some of these things, because they look promising. 😀

_”You can’t become mortal yourself until you change her back again. Isn’t that it? You don’t care what happens to her, or the others, just as long as you become a real magician at last. […] You don’t care about anything but magic, and what kind of magician is that? Schmendrick, I don’t feel good. I have to sit down.”_
_Schmendrick must have carried her for a time, because she was definitely not walking and his green eyes were ringing in her head. “That’s right. Nothing but magic matters to me. I would round up unicorns for Haggard myself if it would heighten my power by half a hair. It’s true. I have no preferences and no loyalties. I have only magic.” His voice was hard and sad._
_“Really?” she asked, rocking dreamily in her terror, watching the brightness flowing by. “That’s awful.” She was very impressed. “Are you really like that?”_
_“No,” he said, then or later. “No, it’s not true. How could I be like that, and still have all those troubles?”_
