Always use a fat to melt chocolate if you're using the chocolate for dipping. I've found butter or vegetable oil works best since coconut oil has a different flavor. The fat allows the chocolate to turn to a dipping consistency and when it hardens it has a glossy sheen. Never use wax paper to catch chocolate drippings, unless you're going to toss the residual chocolate away. Use parchment lightly sprayed with oil so the chocolate easily glides off to be saved. Wax paper has to be scraped off. Just my two cents of many years of Italian baking. ❤
The small amount of coconut oil has no more flavor in it than butter or vegetable oil would...almost undetectable. Just an observation from one who has spent years in the many restaurants.
@@TimothyGraffthere's only really one type of coconut oil that does that and you can buy it online and it says it doesn't taste like coconut oil. That is the only coconut oil I use when baking items that are not to taste like coconut. And that's my cooking every single day for mega mega mega years and doing tons of research. Butter is the best and it's been around forever.
😮 wow!!! Looks delicious 😋 i am going to try to make them, thanks for sharing. I love candy corn, always have since i was little. Im 64 now and still love it to this day. I always get me a bag when they sell it in October. ❤
That looks so easy to make, I have to try it. I'll need to pick up some candy corn, which was one of my childhood favorites. And that's a great tip for using a little coconut oil in the chocolate.
God Bless you very much and I was wondering if you have a Cook book that I could get and how would I be able to get One of your Cook books for your Great Home made resapies ? I need to know how to get a payment for your Cook book please 🥺🙏😇🌎💫🎣👍😊 !
I used to like Butterfinger ever since I was a little kid, but recently they changed the recipe and it doesn't taste the same. Wrote an email to corporate about it and they said it was what the customers wanted. Really? BS
Butterfinger is #1 to me. And i hate candy corn. I have no idea if this is still around. In the 70s, it was called a cheek-o-stick, chick-o-stick. Its taste is the same as in the butterfinger. They were cheap. Even though candy bars were .25 the sticks 10 cents. I had sticks first before a butterfinger.

Better yet use a silicone sheet.

I'm going to try this with only the orange part of the candy corn :)
Sounds like a dentist appointment afterwards. Looks delicious.
That Butterfinger for ya. Gets all stuck in your teeth but delicious 😋
@reece6583 I made Reese's peanut cup and kitcat with Reese on top from scratch, I can't find Candy corn to make these. I want to

Thank you 😊 I’m definitely getting some extra candy corn the next time I go to the store.
Yea wow it really turned out good yummy yummy 😋😋
Love your shakers
Cut down the middle. Then do the same on both halves. Then you can cut that in half or thirds. Easy way to get the strips same width
Yummy! I’ve got to try these!😋😋😋
Those look awesome. Definitely worth a try! Thanks Steph…❤️
Might be a good idea to score the candy with some parchment or wax paper before setting it firm up. Make cutting it easier
Looks great.
Adam’s crunchy is the best peanut butter ever
If there is no candy corn available what can you use to replace it
I'm going to make this for sure. Thanks
Im in love

Does the cooling rack remove the chocolate from the bottom when pulled away?
👍❤️👌
Can you cut it before it hardens? I think it would be easier than cutting it after it hardens.
I usually don’t but that does sound like a very good idea. 👍🏼
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Have a blessed day!!! 🤗😊🤗
Can you cut it before it hardens to much to make it easier.
❤
Is the center still crunchy

Can’t wait to try them. Thank you
Ooh, my favorite!! Thank you for sharing...
i use one of my tall ice tea glasses to roll it out.
♥
shouldn't you temper the chocolate?
I cant believe how orange those candy corn are. Wow! Wonder how bad that color is for us?😳

Can you create a keto friendly way? Thanks
I haven't seen keto candy corn....
I'm not sure why I subscribed, but I think I'm going to gain weight! LOL
LOL me too! YUM!
The candy looks delicious But It look like she's having a hard time chewing it I'm surprised it didn't break her teeth when she bit Into it
I just melt the chocolate, never needed any oil.
Recipe
They have put warning labels not to eat laundry detergent so you have to warn everyone haha
I'm glad I don't smoke it costs 13 dollars for smokes here in NY.
I was excited to see this recipe and I was just as disappointed when I saw the candy corns. Not a candy corn fan they are just way too sweet for me.
I was thinking the same thing lol
I was excited too - wish candy corn wasn’t part of the equation, but suspect that corn syrup is the alternative with something to harden it a bit…😮
I dont think they're 'perfect'. Sounds like they're too hard. Maybe a little more peanut butter?
You don't happen to have a twin sister , do you.
👍👏❤👏👏🥰☮️
Looks too messy for my skills. I’d look like my 6 month old granddaughter after I tried spoon feeding her.
Does it really taste like a Butterfinger?
