Oh, the struggle will always be in my videos lol If you leave it in the refrigerator just a little longer it wouldn't have been such a struggle, but I was trying to include all of the steps in the video.
I think some of your best videos are when you have a hard time doing it and show us how you handle that issue. Because I usually have some type a hard time with any kind of recipe. Watching you today, really helps. Because no doubt my pin wheel isn’t going to go easy either. And I won’t feel so stupid. Best wishes and hugs.
Your words about the true meaning of Christmas, are so wonderful. Thank you! I do not need anything and I ask family to give to a food bank or charity rather than giving me a gift. I give away the gifts that they continue to give.
One year, my mother in law gave us girls items she had accumulated thru the years, many still in the packaging. I loved getting things like that from her. I miss her dearly.
New subscriber here! I am so happy to have found a Southern lady who cooks like my family enjoys. The Christian teachings are the icing on the cake! God bless you and thank you for remembering our King and His sacrifice. Merry Christmas 🎄
Thank you for your kind encouragement. I am now sick and disabled and no longer able to do the things I used to. I was beginning to panic, thinking about everything that needed to be done for Christmas. This was just the reminder that I needed. I hope you feel better real soon!
When my kids were little we didn't have much money. One thing we did was bake a cake and decorate it. Then we had a birthday party for Jesus! It was a low cost meaningful way to celebrate the day!
Becky I want to thank you so much for the cranberry cream cheese dip recipe...it was the biggest hit last week (even more than the turkey)! I added an additional ½ cup chopped pecans on the top bc we love nut, so it turned out to be a pretty layered dip, as well! Grateful for this new recipe tradition. 🙏💖✨
I never have luck with fudge but this looks doable. I'm going to add chopped nuts so I hope it works. Thanks Becky for all your recipes, time and love of God that you share. God bless and keep you and your family 🙏🕊💜🤍🤍
I didn’t either until I started using this fudge recipe probably 20 years ago. I add a tsp of vanilla and chopped walnuts. It’s really delicious I’m excited to try it in the roll!
I just love hearing your sweet voice really reminds me of my dad. (sorry about the sore throat!). My daddy was a good old "hillbilly" from Cuba, Missouri, a country boy who raised me and my brother (born with Down's syndrome) with love and kindness and was a really, really good man! I miss him every day since he passed away in 1994. I love hearing your testimony and the way you give such great advice. I also lost my late husband of 18 years back in 2012, at only 54, so I appreciate how hard it is to be a widow! God bless! Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
I’m going to try this, but I think I will spread each layer in separate pans and chill just long enough so the layers will stick once put together, then roll! TFS! After seeing you trying to roll, I’m using non-stick reynolds wrap and hope that makes it easier to roll!
I think it looks difficult for a beginner,, ,would give me stress and headache,,,prolly would mess it up and be out those ingredients ! I better buy something at store,,,,sorry....
@MsFlowergurl I made this over the holidays with homemade, sweetened condensed milk, & it turned out so amazing. I didn't want to wait for it to cool between layers (especially since my homemade milk was hot & ready to melt the chips), so I just placed the parchment paper down, rolled the 1st layer between 2 sheets, slid the 1st layer from the pan, added parchment again, rolled the 2nd layer between 2 sheets & rolled/removed too, then I placed the 1st layer back in the pan, removed the top parchment, removed layer 2s bottom parchment, added layer 2 to layer 1& pressed the layers together... they were still warm, so they welded together great & were easy to handle this way. After pressing together, I rolled, & then let cool before cutting! Such an amazing treat everyone loved, & I was able to save quite a bit making the milk myself, since I couldn't find it in my pantry & wasn't trekking out to the store again... LOL!
I can't tell you how much it means to me that you witness in every video! Thank you so much for sharing the love of Jesus Christ! As each year passes I love Him even more! When my children were young I gave them lavish Christmas gifts. I now believe that was the wrong way to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior. As every parent, when the kids are young, you just want to give them everything. I always instilled faithfulness to God and going to church. But what is the most important thing is to have a personal relationship with Jesus! Thank you for sharing your recipes and taking time to show us the process. God bless you!❤🙏😘🍽
Thank you for reminding everyone of the true meaning of Christmas. Jesus is the reason for the season! The most wonderful gift we can give to one another is showing them God's love in some act of kindness. Merry Cheistmas to you and your family. May your holidays and beyond be filled with Blessings.
Thank you for all the wonderful videos, I learn something different each time I watch one. My children always ask me what I want for Christmas, birthday, Mothers Day (and so on) and I tell them that seeing my kids and grandkids is all I need. But!--- year I'm going to tell them I want one of your Cook Books. ;) Merry Christmas to you and to your family. God Bless.
This looks amazingly good. I will save it for another time because I just finished making 6 varieties of cookie dough that will be baked a week before Christmas. Hope you feel better soon Becky and have a Blessed Christmas.
Those sound amazing... I was smart & found a Bar Cookie recipe, & made several versions for my holiday baking so I didn't have to change cookie sheets. So for the 1st time in several years, I actually got to do the holiday baking myself with only supervision & assistance from my Caregivers. It was wonderful.... IDK why I never thought of doing those b4, of course, I slept for 2 wks after I was done, but... it was really nice to be back in the kitchen for a time
Ok Becky I did this with sugar free chocolate frosting, peanut butter and a tbl spn of cocoa powder to help it thicken. Then I rolled it out with peanut butter on it. It was a diabetic delight!
Our house had a bug but it was the other end; I swear I ran to the bathroom over 20 times. I left a sudoku puzzle book in the bathroom and the window open... Hi! I love your recipes. I wish you would have this recipe written here so I can print it. I really want to make for my grandson at college. Thank you so much
Oh, sweet lady! I love your videos because you have the best ideas. But I truly love and appreciate you sharing your testimony of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you for your kind message!❤ Merry Christmas!
I would make the two layers in seperate pans and just layer and roll 👍. Also, thats a big pinwheel. I'd cut this in half and make two log rolls, and then slice 👍.
I think I'll try this for church. But I'm thinking maybe press the PB layer out separately on wax paper, then lay on top of the choc - then refrigerate.
Our family got the c word right before thanksgiving and it was not super fun by no means. Hope everyone feels better and has blessings through the season! 🙏
Silly question: Have you ever rolled out your 2nd layer between waxed/parchment paper (maybe in a 2nd pan to match the size) and then slide it on top of the 1st layer?
You need to use two sheet pans. One for each flavor. Roll the second flavor and then place it on your first sheet before your final chill and then roll up the pinwheel.
Did you notice that she's using peanut butter CHIPS, not actual peanut butter? You can use whatever chips you like, but I've never seen almond butter chips. Sorry.
Becky , are you sure it's not allergies , I have the same problem but it's from allergies , a lung specialist has me on two different allergie medicines , one in the morning and one at night along with nasal.spray , Nasacort you can buy over counter now , try those , I think you'll find it works well . This is a great recipe, thank you so much. One little tip though; if you take the first layer out of the tin, you can roll out the second layer in the same way you did the first, then put the two layers together afterwards, it makes it much easier :) Much love to you all x
I think I'll make this for my Grandma's Christmas gift. She's hard to buy for, but she loves chocolate and peanut butter. Fudge is also a big favorite for her. This looks like a winner!
Thank you for that verse. John 3:16. I needed that. I lost my sister on May 10th, very unexpectedly, and my Mother on May 12th, just 2 days later. It doesn't feel that much like Christmas to me, this year. To be reminded of the true meaning is just what I needed to hear. Merry Christmas, from Ontario, Canada.
That is so sad… May God’s Peace and Love surround you this holiday season! I know how that pain feels. I lost my oldest daughter, two sisters and two brothers all in a close range of time… Holidays are definitely not holidays anymore but I do keep my heart and mind on Christ… The real reason for the season… He sustains me and His precious blood covers my sins everyday, His Mercy is new every day… And because of this, we will see our family again… And that keeps me going… For each day is one day closer to being with our loved ones again! 🙏🏼❤️🤗❤️🙏🏼 Merry Christmas from Avon, Ohio… By the way, my youngest daughter lives in Quebec… Canada is beautiful!
Would you happen to have an easy recipe for penuche fudge? Since I moved from Massachusetts to Arizona it seems nobody makes penuche fudge here. No nuts please 😊
This looks so yummy! I think when I make it I will do the second layer on top of the first with a layer of paper between. When it is all spread out I'll just flip it over before rolling. Knowing my rate of mistakes this will just ensure success in the end product. My Christmas is totally different from the way it's always been. I've always been blessed with the most loving, close Christian family. Yet for the last 9 years everything has changed so much. For the first time ever there is division between all family members and my health has taken a plunge. God has blessed me with still having a great relationship with Daddy, my kids & grandchildren. We are largely divided by miles but the love is strong. My son still lives with me and is my caretaker. Without having any gatherings it makes it easier to keep my focus of Christmas on the blessing of the birth of our Savior! It was difficult to look at it this way for a while but if I keep my focus in the right spot I can see how God truly has the perfect plan for me ! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas season full of the love of our amazing Lord & Savior!
Becky..Thank You so much for the Great recipes and your faith filled channel. I am so Blessed I found it. Thank You again and God Bless you and your family. love from Kansas🥰
